Year Two

Skylar's P.O.V

We decided on watching a Christmas movie. Even thought it was a sweet story, Ashton kept looking around at us, almost like he was dying to ask us something.

"I'll be right back." Rachel whispered, hoping out of her seat and heading to the restroom. Once we heard the door close, Ashton jumped out of his chair.

"Should I tell her that I'm the one who gave her the hickey?" He whispered in a panicked tone, his eyes wide and eyebrows raised. "I mean, what would happen if I did? Would she see me differently? Oh God, what if she hates me if I tell her?"

"Ashton!" Calum hisses, laughing to himself. "If you want to tell her, then do it! Stop being such a girl and man up."

Suddenly the door of the bathroom opened and Ashton instantly flew back into his seat. Once Rachel got back to the room, she plopped back down in her spot and looked around curiously.

"What did I miss?"

After Rachel and I had left the boys house, she wouldn't stop covering her neck when someone passed by. Since she had to go say bye to Harry, she stared freaking out about it when we started for his dorm. I had a quick idea to stop by a store and buy some quick last minuet gifts for the guys before they leave. Rachel also got a scarf for herself, to hide the obvious hickey on her neck.

"Rach, its going to be okay!" I say, smiling over at her. For some strange reason, I've been feeling nervous ever since Luke had told me he didn't see me at the party last night. I know I kissed someone. I remember the way he pulled me close, the way his eyes looked after the kiss. His eyes. They were green. Oh absolute shit. My grip on the gifts tighten. It was Harry.

"You okay, Sky?" Rachel's voice broke me out of my thoughts. I can't see Harry, what if he remembers? I touch my lips, somehow trying to erase the way his lips felt on mine.

"Um, I'm not feeling so good, I think I'll just-" I was cut off by someone shouting Rachel's name. We both turn our heads to see Louis and Harry walking towards us. I suck in a deep breath and relax myself. Don't look panicked.

"Hey guys," Louis beamed, his attention completely on Rachel. I kept my eyes on anything but Harry, trying not to blush when I notice he's staring at me. "Could I talk to you for a second, Rach?"

She instantly froze, but nodded stiffly and followed after him with her hand on her scarf. I turn to face Harry, who seems to be staring curiously at them. I glance down at the brightly rapped box I'm holding and nearly shove it in Harry's arms.

"Here, uh, Merry Christmas." I stutter, keeping my eyes on my shoes. His hand softly grabs my chin and raises it, making me meet his eyes.

"Thanks, Sky." He whispered. My heart nearly leaped out of my chest when he started to lean forward, he stopped short of my lips and smirked slightly, moving his head and kissing me on the check. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, and frown.

"Have a nice trip, Harry." I mutter, turning away. But before I could take another step, arms wrapped around my waist and pull my backwards. I let out a small laugh, not being able to help myself when his fingers start poking my sides.

"Okay okay, let me go!" I squeak, people around us giving us weird looks at my sudden outburst. Harry chuckles in my ear, making a shiver run up my spine.

"You're going to pay for that, Styles." I growl, somehow slipping out of his arms and facing him. "It's so on!" I smirk slightly, grabbing him by the shoulders and jumping onto his back. He lets out a laugh as I start ruffling his hair.

"Um, guys?" Louis and Rachel stand in front of us, confusion written all over their faces. I slowly slide off of Harrys back, both of us fixing our hair before smiling slightly.

"I'll, uh, see you later Harry." I stifle a laugh as I pat his arm awkwardly, glancing back at Rachel and Louis who're trying to keep their faces straight.

"Bye."
