Year Two

Skylar's P.O.V
Throwing the door of my moms black BMW, I make my way to the trunk and pop it open, grabbing my suitcases and dragging them out. Letting out a nervous breath, I glance around the campus before closing the trunk. I run over to the front of the car and say a quick bye to my mom before skipping off in the direction of my new dorm. Rachel and I are roommates again, but unfortunately Tricia isn't coming back to Cambridge.
Out of breath from dragging my heavy suitcases, I sit down on the grass and use one of my suitcases as a pillow to stare up into the blue sky. This summer went by fast, so fast that Rachel and I only got together about 2 or 3 times. But when we did, we had a blast. Harry and the boys joined us on a few camping trip,s and let me tell you, no one got any sleep.. It was a night of telling scary stories by the campfire, singing songs, truth or dares, and finally, spin the bottle.
To me, it was the best summer of my life. Harry and I have bonded over the summer- as friends. Luke and I are happily together, even though we haven't seen each other over the whole summer since he was so busy with his band. I was happy that he was finally getting noticed, but I did miss him more than I care to admit.
Feeling someone's eyes on me, I sit up and scan the exuberant crowd of students until meeting Luke's piercing blue eyes. A smile instantly appears on my face as I stumble to my feet and run over to him, I crash into him and feel his arms wrap around my waist pulling me closer to him.
"Hey Skylar," Luke laughed, kissing the top of my head. "I missed you." He whispered before ruffling my hair, which I instantly fix and playfully glare at him.
"I missed you too, Lukey." I squeak before kissing his cheek and grabbing his hand, dragging him back to my suitcases and flopping down Indian style. "so, how was your summer?" I asked excitedly, keeping my gaze on him.
"It was actually really great, we were traveling allot, meeting new people." He breathed out, smiling widely.
"Luke, Skylar!" A voice roared, making my head snap in the direction of Ashton and Calum running towards us. I laugh as they both stumble to the ground in front of us and begin arguing with each other.
"Hey guys!" I crawl over to them and help them up, hugging each other them tight. Ashton and I have been texting and skyping over the entire summer, showing me where they were and what songs they were singing. We were officially best friends now, he even made this whole speech..
Arms suddenly wrapped around my waist from behind, picking me up and spinning me around while I laugh and scream. It must be..
"Harry, put her down!" Rachel screeched, making Harry laugh in my ear and set me down. Once the world stopped spinning, I took a step away from Harry, facing him and punching his arm playfully.
"Jerk!" I laugh and face Rachel, pulling her in for a tight hug. "hey Rachel." I smile, jerking my head towards Ashton and plop down next to Luke who was watching me with an amused smile. I shrug my shoulders and look at Harry who seems to be staring at Rachel and Ashton in confusion, pulling out my phone, I lean in closer to Luke and snap a quick picture, laughing when he sticks out his tongue at the last moment.
"Hey, where's Michael?" I ask after a moment, looking around in case I missed him.
"I'm not sure, he was right behind us." Ashton says, spinning around with his eyebrows drawn together.
"I'm sure he's fine," I reply, standing up and collecting my suitcases. "well its been fun hanging out, but I've got to find the dorm. Rachel, you coming?"
"Sure," she smiled, we wave goodbye to the boys and make our way to our new dorm. "its great to be back."
