Rachel's P.O.V.

I woke up the next morning feeling reasonably okay, considering I had been drinking a bit the night before. I got changed into a pair of denim skinny jeans and a plaid red shirt.

While walking to my first class I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I pulled it out quickly seeing who it was a text from.


Louis: You still up for lunch today?


I sighed, sending him a quick reply saying 'yes'. I wasn't overly fond of the idea of having lunch with Louis but he was sorry and I knew that. And honestly as much as I wanted to deny it - I missed him. I missed our closeness.

My classes seemed to drag on until eventually it was time for lunch. I was nervous about it, It was the first time we would be alone in ages and I wasn't sure how it was going to go. He had asked me to meet him at the fountain I had become so used to meeting him at last year. It felt weird. Almost like deja vu.

When at last the fountain came into view, I spotted him instantly. He was sitting on the fountain, holding a bag in his hands.

"What's in the bag?" I asked curiously, causing him to glance up at me.

He gave me a smile.

"You came" he stated simply, scanning me over quickly.

I shrugged.

"You don't say" I replied.

He rolled his eyes.

"So, what's in the bag?" I asked again.

"Food, I got you a cheese wrap - your favourite and some orange juice" he replied, standing up.

I grinned.

"I thought we could go eat it on the grass. It's a pretty hot day so.." He shrugged as he trailed off.

I nodded.

"Sounds like a plan, come on" I agreed quickly, heading towards the grass.

He followed silently and sat down next to me when I did.

"So.." I started off awkwardly, pulling my wrap out of my bag, along with the orange juice.

He sighed.

"Look, I know your probably still mad over what happened-" he began but I cut him off quickly.

"I'm not mad" I replied with a shrug.

He raised his eyebrows.

"Your not?" he asked doubtfully.

I shrugged.

"Not really. Not anymore.. " I shrugged.

He sighed.

"Well, anyways I'm really sorry about what happened" he replied.

"I know, you've told me" I reminded him.

He nodded.

"So - em - could we be friends again? I miss you Rach, seriously" he told me honestly.

I swallowed the food in my mouth before nodding.

"Sure, we can be friends" I emphasized the word.

He seemed to get the hint and nodded.

Before either of us had a chance to say anything else I heard someone call my name. I glanced around quickly and saw Skylar and Harry walking towards us.

"Well hello" I grinned widely as Skylar plopped down next to me.

"What's going on here?" Harry asked with raised eyebrows as he sat down too.

I rolled my eyes.

"We're having lunch. Not unlike you two" I retorted.

Him and Skylar exchanged an awkward glance with I decided to ignore.

The four of us just chatted for a while as I finished off my food. It wasn't long however before I had to go back to class. My classes were slow and boring, but at long last I was finished.

I headed back to the room to get a quick shower. I was going to Eleanor's tonight to hang out with her and Demi. Have a little catch-up.

As I walked into our room I found Skylar sitting on her bed on her phone. Lizzie was watching television.

"Hey guys, you up for coming to Eleanor's with me tonight?" I asked them.

Lizzie nodded.

"Eleanor?" she asked softly.

"She's a friend of mine" I replied.

"Sure, sounds like fun" she agreed.

I grinned and looked to Skylar.

"Sky?" I asked.

She bit her lip.

"Well - em - I was gonna do something with Harry" she began, but cut off when she noticed my raised eyebrows.

"Never mind, I'll reschedule. Sure thing Rach" she finished quickly.

I had to say I was a tad confused. Since when were Skylar and Harry so close? I shrugged it off though.

"Great! I'll let them know" I grinned widely, sending Demi a quick text and heading into the shower.
