chapter five
I wake to my alarm clock blaring. I set up a stretched. I was so tired cause it is only 7:30 but I have to be at my job interview by 9:00. I get up and get my outfit out and head to the bathroom for my shower.
When im done I step out and dry off. I blow dry my hair and do my make up. Once I get done with all that and have my outfit I go to lilah's room to wake her up. I open her door to find her pasted out on her bed. "Lilah wake up!!" I shout and start to shake her a little. She has always been a heavy sleeper.
She mumbled something but I cant make it out. "Come on. you have got to get to class." I say shaking her a little more. She sits up hair goign everywhere. "Alright im up calm down." She mutters and she stands up slowly still half alsleep.
I leave her alone to get ready and head down to the kitchen. I get out a pop-tart and make a cup of coffee. "Alright im heading out see ya later." Lilah says walking towards the front door. "Ok bye" I say and finish my coffee.
I look down at my watch and its 8:32. I need to start to leave if im going to make it on time. I walk on and to my car. I start down the road when my phone goes off. When I come to a red light I read it. "Hey babe you will do great today. :) xx" I smiled knowing Harry remebered about the interview cause a couple of days ago when I applied I told him about it.
About ten minutes later I pull up to the business.I park my car and head inside. When I walk in I see old records microphones gutiars and all sorts of things. I smile I have always loved music and know I have a shot at working at a music place.
I walk up to the lady at the front desk. "Hello, im here about the job interview." I say to her. "Of course right this way miss." She asscorts me to the back part of the building and into an office. I walk in and there is a middle aged man sitting behind a desk with two chairs in front of it.
"Hi, I supose you are here about the job?" He asks. "Yes sir." I reply with a nice tone in my voice. "Please take a seat." He says and points to the chairs in front of him. I take a seat in the comfortable chair and turn my attention to him.
"You must be Mia." He says pulling a file out of one of his desk drawns. "Yes sir." I reply "I have looked over your applaction and I have to say it is pretty good, but I still have a few questions." I nodd my head for him to continue.
After a couple of questions He stops. "Alright. I will get back to you soon." "Ok thank you." I reply and walk out. I walk past the same lady again along my way to the door. "Good luck sweetie." She says. I turn around and smile. "Thank you."
I get in my car and get a text from Danielle. "Hey Mia. El and I were wondering if you and Lilah would like to go to lunch with us?"
I reply and say. "Yea Lilah should be out of class by now. where do you want to go?"
"How about this new Itailan place on main street?" she asks.
"Ok meet you there in a few." I reply and start driving home. The whole ride I wqas thinking about hw the interview went. I think I did pretty well. When I get homeI walk in and see Lilah watching tv. "Hey get up your coming to lunch with me,Danielle,and Elanour." I say grabbing her attention away from the tv.
"Ok" We walk out and get in my car. I start driving and we talk about how the day has been so far. When, we get to the resturant I see Danielles car parked outside so apparently El rode with her. We hop out of the car and walk in the resturant.
It smells like heaven in here. We start scanning the area for them. We finally find them and start towards the table. "Hey girlies." I greet them as I take me seat next to El. "Hey" they reply back. "Wheres Perrie?" Lilah asks.
"She is in the studio today." We nodd in understandment. The waiter approaches us and takes our orders and heads back to the kitchen. "So how did the interview go Mia?" El asks "I think it went pretty good. He said I had good experience." I reply back.
"I know you will get it." She says smiling. We continue when our food arrives to the table. I have to addmit this is delious. "This is really good." Danielle says. "We nodd not wanting to take a break from the great food. Lilah literally inhaled her food and is done within a matter of minutes.
We all finish eating and go pay. We all say our goodbyes and head back home. When we get there we both pass out on the couch needing a nap from all the food we just ate. After I wake up from my nap its 9:30. dang, I must have slept for a couple of hours.
I get up still to find Lilah alsleep. I go upstairs and get into my pajamas and go to sleep.
