Stay With Me

Jana and Liam sit back down, quietly, with out a word. “Is everything okay, baby?’’ Niall asks as he looks at Jana concernly. ‘’Yeah..’’ she mumbles as Liam’s fingers brush against the palm of her hand under the table, trying to comfort her more.

‘’I don’t.. even think I’m.. hungry anymore.’’ Jana whispers to Liam. ‘’Don’t you think you should be telling me that?’’ Niall says, raising his eyebrows as he heard her. ‘’Why should I?’’ Jana asks. ‘’Because… you’re my fiancée, remember?’’ Niall says, cocking his head to the side slightly.

‘’So..’’ Jana shrugs. ‘’And last time I checked you were carrying my baby, not Liam’s.’’ Niall blurts out, soon regretting it. ‘’You’re pregnant?!’’ Perrie says, her jaw dropping like Sophia’s did when she found out. ‘’You’re.. pregnant?’’ Liam whispers as he looks over at Jana’s embarrassed, shocked face.

‘’I hate you.’’ She mouths to Niall as she stands up and runs to the door, wanting to escape this world right now. She just needed to get some where alone.. and try to calm down. ‘’Way to go, Niall.’’ Liam sighs as he stands up, quickly chasing after Jana.

He opens the door to see her leaning against his SUV in the parking lot, people taking pictures of her crying. Liam runs over to her, soon wrapping both arms around her as he shoves the camera’s out of his face. ‘’Its okay, love.. don’t cry.’’ Liam whispers as Jana sobs on to his shoulder again.

Through the crowd and the noise, Liam could hear the sound of heel’s clicking on the pavement followed by two female, high pitched, voices. ‘’Jana!’’ Perrie says as she fights her way through the crowd. ‘’Babe, are you okay?’’ She asks as she reaches them. \

‘’C’mere.’’ Liam grabs Perrie’s arm and pulls her to him, trying to keep her away from the people.

‘’Liam? Pez?’’ Sophia says, out of breath, as Liam takes her in his arm too. All three of them holding onto Jana as she cries against Liam’s chest. ‘’Its okay..’’ Sophia pats Jana’s back as the stand closely to each other.

The paparazzi throw several questions at them as they take pictures, but they know not to answer anything, especially in a time like this. ‘’You need to take her home..’’ Perrie says looking up at Liam.

‘’I know.’’ He sighs softly as he leans his chin on top of Jana’s head, trying to find some way to soothe her, but he just didn’t know what to do any more…

“Jana?’’ Liam says as he opens his bedroom door. He let her sit in here a while, trying to get her to calm herself down some before confronting Niall about anything. “Yeah?” She asks, looking up at him. ‘’You feel a little better?’’ He asks as he sits down beside her on the bed. ‘’Yeah.. a little bit.’’ She nods, sighing some.

‘’Niall’s.. waiting to talk to you.’’ Liam says, putting his arm around her back. ‘’I don’t care.’’ She whispers to herself mainly. ‘’You need to care, love.. he’s very torn up about you not even talking to him..or even sitting by him.’’ Liam tells her. ‘’So.’’ She shrugs a little as she looks at Liam’s eyes.

“I told him.. what you told me in the bathroom.. he said he never meant for that to look that way. He was just messing around with his friend.. he swore to me that you were the only one he loved. The only one.. Jana..’’ Liam sighs as he stands up.

‘’Talk to him.. he needs you more than ever right now..’’ Liam says before leaving the room and going back downstairs.

‘’Apparently he doesn’t need me.. all he wants is his baby.’’ Jana says as she puts a hand on her stomach. ‘’I’m sorry my little baby.. Mommy usually isn’t a bitch.’’ She mumbles as she stands up and slowly leaves the room.

“Niall? Can we talk?’’ Jana says as she walks into the living room to see every one sitting on the couch and realizes they were all waiting for her. ‘’Yeah..’’ He nods as he stands up.

‘’Daddy!’’ Tori says, holding her arms up for him. ‘’Babe, I’ll be right back. Stay here with Pezzie and watch TV.’’ Niall says, referring to Perrie since that’s what Tori calls her.

Quickly, Niall joins her in the kitchen alone. ‘’Liam told me.. what you said.’’ She sighs as he takes her hand and holds it tightly. ‘’I know.. he told me.’’ Niall says softly. ‘’Why didn’t you tell me.. about it?’’ Niall asks her. ‘’I dunno.. I was just nervous… that it was.. true.’’ She admits. ‘’You know it isn’t, though.’’ Niall tells her. ‘’I know..’’ She nods gently.

‘’I didn’t mean to say.. it aloud.’’ Niall says as he places his other hand on Jana’s stomach. ‘’I’m not mad.. about it.’’ Jana mumbles as she leans towards him, leaning her forehead against his chest. Niall’s hands drop and he puts his arms around her back, holding her tight against him.

‘’Can we go back to New York?’’ Jana asks him. ‘’Sure baby.. I’ll work something out and we might get to leave tomorrow night.’’ Niall assures her. ‘’Okay..’’ she sighs as she leans up, and he places a simple, light kiss on her lips.
