Stay With Me

“Jana?’’ Niall says as he knocks on the bathroom door, making sure she’s okay since she’d be in there a while. ‘’Yeah?” She asks him as she twists the ring around her finger as she sits in the floor.. ‘’Are you okay, baby?’’ He asks worried. ‘’Yeah..’’ She sighs gently. ‘’Can I come in? Or are you okay alone?’’ Niall says, hoping she will let him in.

Without a word, Jana unlocks the door and sits back down on the cold tile floor. ‘’Okay, you can come in now.’’ She says and the door opens just as she says it. Niall closes the door as he stands facing her.

‘’You okay?’’ He asks as he kneels down beside her, taking her hand in his. ‘’Yeah, I’m.. fine.’’ She mumbles gently. ‘’We’re all waiting.. are you ready to go?’’ He asks as he stands up, bringing her with him.

‘’Mhm.. I just gotta get my shoes on.’’ She tells him as she lets his hand go and walks past him. He doesn’t say anything as she makes her way across the hall to the guest bedroom where they’re staying. He notices her phone sitting on the sink counter, so he picks it up.

Curiously, as we all would’ve been, he looks at the screen after unlocking it. He looks over the things she’d been looking at. ‘’Niall’s fiancée looks a little frustrated as the paparazzi captures her and her daughter leaving a Starbucks in New York about a week ago, but the question is.. where’s Niall at? Wouldn’t he have been with them since it was so late when they were out? Hm.. eyebrows being raised!”

He rolls his eyes as he closes it and sticks it in his pocket before making his way downstairs to join the others in the living room.

‘’Daddy..’’ Tori mumbles as Liam pulls into the parking spot. ‘’Yes?’’ He asks, looking down at her beside him. ‘’Those people are here.’’ She sighs, pointing out the window at the paparazzi. ‘’I know babe, I know.’’ He sighs as he opens the door after unbuckling his seatbelt and Tori’s.

“Of course.’’ Jana sighs as they head to the door. ‘’You okay, love?’’ Sophia asks her as Liam and Niall rush the girls towards the door, trying to prevent any more pictures. ‘’I hate.. when I see my picture.. on the internet.. or in the magazines.’’ Jana admits as they go in the restaurant. ‘’Me too.’’ Sophia nods, agreeing with her.

“Do you have reservations?’’ The man asks Liam. ‘’yes, Payne.. um party of six.’’ Liam tells him and he nods and checks the clipboard he’s holding. ‘’Follow me, please.’’ He says and they make their way to their table.

‘’A waitor will be right with you.’’ He says with a sigh as they get situated in the seats. ‘’Thank you.’’ Liam nods as he walks off. ‘’Where’s Pez, love? Isn’t she coming?’’ Liam asks Sophia as she stares at her phone screen. ‘’She said she’ll be here soon, and to save her a seat beside Jana and me.’’ She smiles gently as she sits her phone down.

‘’Jana, are you okay?’’ Liam asks her as he looks at her. ‘’Yeah.. It’s a little cold over here.’’ She says as she shivers lightly. ‘’You wanna sit by Liam, babe?’’ Niall asks her. ‘’I guess.’’ She shrugs gently as she stands up and sits on the other side of the table in the booth with Liam and Sophia.

‘’Is it warmer over there?’’ Niall asks her as Tori climbs into his lap, ignoring every one else. ‘’Yeah…A little.’’ She nods as she feels Niall’s foot touch against her’s under the table.

Hmmm..so what's up with Jana? Why is she not wanting to have anything to do with Ni suddenly? HMM????
