Niall's eyes skim the huge glass box as he waits for the man to come back with the ring he picked out a few weeks ago. Its sized and engraved, so he's ready to get it home to a safe place. Its now December, and he's anxious to ask her. But he will in two days, on Christmas Day.

"Here you go, Mr.Horan.''The man smiles as he hands Niall a velvet box. He opens it and looks closely at the clean, shiny diamond ring. "Is everything okay?''The man asks him.''Yes..its just.. beautiful.''he mumbles before closing the box. ''Daddy?''Tori whines as she pulls on Niall's pant leg.

"Yeah Princess?''Niall asks as he leans down and picks her up. He carries her to the car, the box securely in his hand. ''I'm ready to go home.''She mumbles to him. ''I know, baby. We're gonna go home soon.''He nods, assuring her. ''O'tay..''She sighs with a light smile.

"Hey babe.''Jana smiles as Niall comes through the door, Tori running to her room right away, not even acknowledging Jana or anything else. ''Hey love.''He smiles as he sits on the couch beside her. He left the ring in the car, just in case..

"How was your day?''She asks him, placing a kiss on his cheek. ''It was fun.''He smiles a little as he takes Jana's hand, holding it tight. ''So..your mom can't make it?''Jana asks, sadly. ''Um.. no.. they thought about it..but I told them to stay home..''Niall sighs gently. ''You don't have to stay here, Ni, you can go back home if you want.''Jana insists.

''No.I'm not leaving.. you and Tori are my family now..my only reason for existence, and I'm not gonna run away now.. I've been here for almost a year..I'm not going any where any time soon.''Niall assures her, a smile on his face. ''Okay.''She whispers with a lightly smirk as she leans to his lips, gently giving him a kiss.
