Stay Strong

Oh my gosh! I'm so confused. Should I jump out the window or should I get out the stall?

"Guys, forget it. Let's just go." Chloe said. Thank gosh!

"Fine!" Roxy said. I heard them storm out the door and leave. Phew. I quickly rushed out of the stall before anyone else could see me. To my shock, I saw the Pink Squad standing right there.

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"Aww, is poor little Emily sad that we tricked her!" Roxy made a pouty face then snickered.

"What are you gonna do now bitcherina? Go home and cry to your little mommy!" Chloe smirked and the other 2 girls laughed at me.

"Wait till we till Principal Davis that you were skipping class!" Melissa said with an evil grin.

"Well, SAY SOMETHING!" Roxy yelled at me. Right when I was about to say something some idiot fell into the girls bathroom. It was Harry. That was probably the worst fake fall I've ever seen. He could probably win an Oscar for that if he was an actor.

"What the hell are you doing in here? This is a GIRLS Bathroom!" Chloe screamed at him emphasizing the 'girls' part.

"I'm so sorry, IT WAS YOURI I SWEAR TO GOD!" Harry said. Who the fuck is Youri?

"Who the fuck is Youri?" Roxanna asked as if reading mind.

"Oh you know, the new French kid. He is Madame Lucy's son." Harry casually replied.

"Madame Lucy doesn't have a son!" Chloe and I said in unison. Weird.

She knocked on wood then yelled, "JINX! You owe me a purse!" She said.

"What are you, a fucking 8 years old? Grow up Chloe!" Melissa yelled at Chloe. For once I actually agreed with her.

"Now, would you like to explain the real reason your here?" Roxy asked him.

"Okay, fine! I was eavesdropping. After the big scene in the hallway with Melissa and Emily, she ran off to the bathroom. I wondered why so I followed her. I couldn't go into the girls bathroom so I listened and heard you in there with her. You we're about to tell Prinicipal Davis that she was skipping class. Technically this isn't class, this is lunch. She can skip lunch if she wants." Harry said.

"I could care less, and I'm going to tell him that you were spying on girls in the girls bathroom." Roxy said.

"Oh really, I wouldn't go there if I were you. Tess texted me pictures of you and Matt kissing when you were supposed to be at class. I could also tell your boyfriend James this. Do you really want me to go there?" Harry asked. Damn, I was impressed. But still mad.

"Harry, I'm not a baby that you need to protect me everywhere I go. I appreciate the thought but I'm almost 18." I said and walked out the bathroom. I'm not 2 years old that I need someone to guard me everywhere I go!

"Class dismissed" Mrs.Smith said.

The class rushed outside like it was the last day of school. I swear it felt like I was being run over by some crazy herd of wild animals. I guess they were so happy the weekend was here. I rushed down the stairs and walked to my car. I hopped in and drove to Starbucks.

I turned up the volume and my jam came on! "I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT I'M FEELING 22!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. I sang that all the way to Starbucks.

I opened the door to Starbucks and saw it wasn't that packed. That was good because now I don't have to wait that long for my drink.

"Hey! Can I please get a caramel frappechino?" I asked the lady by the counter. I paid and got my drink and sat at one of the tables.

I was scrolling through my phone till some girl from my school came up to me. Oh great.

"Hey there!" She said to me. "May I join you?" She asked. That was a bit weird.

"Uh sure!" I said to her. I recognized her from my Math class. Her name was Sarah I think.

"So Emily, I saw the thing about you and Harry in the school paper today." She said. I had no idea where she was going with this.

"Umm, yeah, what about it?" I asked her.

"Listen, I know it's not real. Tess did the same thing to me too. She just uses people for their friendship and betrays them. She always wants the best stories because if she doesn't, the people in charge of the paper will kick her off of it. I just wanted to let you know, I'm here for you." Sarah said.

"Thanks Sarah!" I said and hugged her.

Sarah and I chatted a bit longer. We grew pretty close. I wouldn't say BFF close, but she was probably the closest thing I had to a friend right now ,and I wasn't going to pass up that offer to have a friend right now. We exchanged numbers and then we chatted for a little while more. I checked my phone and saw the time.

"It's 5:17, I better get going." I said.

"You know you could say 5:20" She giggled.

"I like to be pretty exact. Call me later, we should do something!" I said to her as I was leaving.

"Bye Em!" She called out.

"Bye!" I smiled at her and left.

When I got home I didn't see my mom.

"Mom!" I yelled.

"MOM! Where are you?" I said as I walked into the kitchen? I saw a not left on the table and it said

'Hey honey! I'm sorry I didn't call you to let you know I'm leaving. I had an emergency business trip to go to. I'm going to New York. I'll be back in a week. Love you, bye! -Mom'

Hmm. I have the house alone to myself for 1 week. Fun!

I texted Sarah.

'Hey, wanna go out tonight?' -Emily

'Where to?' -Sarah

'Your choice.' -Emily

'Club?' -Sarah

'K. Which one?' -Emily

"Don't worry. Pick you up at 7:00. Be ready. S don't like to wait" -Sarah. That last text made me giggle. I texted her my address and started to get ready.

Oh tonight's gonna be one hell of a night!
