Stay Strong

I raced to my window and quickly closed the curtains.

Freak! I thought to myself. As I walked back I heard knocking on the window? I decided to ignore it. The knocking got louder, so I decided to open the window. I opened the curtains to see a boy my age with red puffy eyes. He'd obviously been crying. But why? And he's not just any boy, he looked so familiar. Where have I seen him? Oh! That's right, he goes to my school! He's in my Math, History, and English classes. He continued to cry.

He's been peeking through your window for the past 10 minutes crying! Help the kid already! I thought to myself. Wow, I do a lot of thinking! I swear my only best friend is me. Oh my gosh! I'm thinking too much again! Help him, would you! I'm such an idiot sometimes.

I opened the window and heard him crying. I could see him struggling to say something, but what?

"Why?" was all he could seem to mutter.

"Why what?" I yelled a bit irritated.

"Why did you dare pick up that knife?" He yelled.

"Because I can! It's my life, not yours! Now LEAVE!" I yelled at him.

I shut my curtains and walked away.

I heard him yell, "Emily! Wait!".

I walked back over there and opened my curtains AGAIN!

"What is it now?" I rudely asked.

"We need to talk.." He told me.

"About what! I don't even know you!" I saw a sense of hurt in his eyes. I felt guilty. I know what it feels like to be hurt.

"Listen, I'm sorry. I just get a bit out of control every now and then" I apologized.

"It's okay, but can we talk..?" he politely asked.

"Sure, just give me a sec." I said

Sorry, this was a bit boring! Just a filler, the real drama is in the next chapter. I MIGHT update again ;)
