Hemmo.
One
It was a nice sunny day in early August. In his backyard, bored as heck, lying on the grass, was Luke Hemmings. He was 18, blond, cute, and in a boyband. Could you ask for a better life?! There were tons of girls drooling at his feet at this point in his life. He sighed. He was so bored he could just fall asleep, then and there. But it was too hot to. Damn. Suddenly he saw a Green light sparkling his house, and because he had no other thing to, he decideed to follow it.
It was a strange Green light. He had never seen anything like this before. It was very sparkly, very shiny, and he somehow felt attracted to it.
On and on he went, following it, until he was completely out of the row of ouses on the Street he lived on. That Green light wouldn't stop shinning, and it was getting further away as Luke got closer to it. That was odd. He stopped for a momento. Should he be following this? What if it lead him somewhere dangerous? Nah, it was just a Green light. What harm could it do to him?
He decided to follow it for longer, as he was still bored.
Just as he had been following it for a long time and was going to turn back, the Green light went out. What? He went loser to where it had been, and there, was a small Green object. It looked like a box. But, equally, it didnt What was it? Luke, being a Young irresponsible teenager, piked it up. At Luke's touch it did a very strange thing indeed. It glowed for a second, wobbled, then went out. Then, unsure why, the boy was blown off his feet and landed in a nearby Bush. He got up, puzzled. What had just happened? He looked around. Ugh, nothing had happened. It was obviously some kind of joke. He decided to walk back home.
On the way home, he walked into Ashton. "Ash!" he exclaimed.
"Um... sorry, do I know you?" He replied. Luke laughed. Ashton was always joking around like this. "Ash, quit the joking." Ashton's face suddenly became very serious.
"I'm not joking. Who are you?"
"Luke. Hemmings."
"Luke Hemmings... Luke Hemmings... you went to school with me, didn't you?" Luke looked at him. "Yes, and we're in a band now. 5 Seconds Of Summer."
"5 Seconds Of Summer? What a rediculous name. A band? Pff, even more rediculous."
"Ashton! You're the drummer."
"Nonsense, I don't play the drums, what is this?" Luke started to panic. What?!
"Ashton!" He started to shake Ashton, who shoved him off angrily.
"Get off me! I have things to do, Hemmings!" He walked off in a huff. Luke bit his lower lip and tears threatened to fall from his eyes. What had happened? Suddenly his breathing became very shallow, he found it hard to concéntrate, his thoughts were couding over...
He woke up in a strange place. He decided to ask the person nearest to him where he was. "You'll never get out," he answered. "The moonbeam children don't want us to." Luke lifted one eyebrow, and then went to ask someone else, someone who had a person in a wheelchair next to him. That person happened to be Michael Clifford. "Michael!" He exclaimed. "Listen, mate, I'm sorry for the argument we had a couple of days ago, it was my fault, man. By the way, where am I?"
"I'm sorry, I never had an argument with you. Can I take your name, please?"
"Mike! It's me! Hemmo!"
"Hemmo..." he muttered, writing it down. "Ah yes, come with me." He lead Luke into a room. "This willvbe your room," he said.
"But, where am I?"
"Hemmo, you're in Johnson's Mental Hospital."
"Mental Hospital? Why?"
"I'm afraid I don't know, you'll have to ask Maria Johnson, the head careworker."
"Where can I find her?"
"In her office, on the first floor. But not now, you need to settle in to your new home." He smiled nicely and left the room, locking it behind him. Luke was worried, the first of his questions formed in his head: What had happened?
