You and I (Niall Horan Fanfiction)

Connie's POV

Niall turned around and he had the biggest smile on his face. He ran up and hugged me so tightly. I missed his hugs so much and I'm glad to celebrate his birthday with him.

We pulled away and I said, "Happy Birthday Niall!"

He gave me a kiss on the lips and said, "How? When? Where?! I can't believe you're here!"

"I got a plane ticket and I flew here to see you." I said.

"It's so expensive for you though, you didn't have to!" He said.

"No I didn't have to, but I wanted too." I said as I smiled.

I hugged the others and was really happy to see them. It was good to catch up with them and talk about what's going on in our lives.

Niall and I sat next to each other and Niall couldn't let go of my hand. I think he was really surprised that I flew here.

I ordered something and when we finished eating, they were going to drive me back to my hotel. To be honest, I was really tired and I didn't feel like doing anything else. I hopped into the car with Niall and I laid on his shoulders because I was too tired.

"Thank you so much for flying all the way here." He said as kissed my forehead.

I lifted my head and looked into his eyes and went back to laying on his shoulder.

We got back to my hotel and I thanked Paul for driving me. Niall suggested that he wanted to hang out with me in the last few hours of his birthday.

We went into my room and I just laid down on the bed, I was too tired.

"You seem tired." Niall said.

"I am. I stayed up late last night finishing my homework. Ugh, school. I hoped you had a good birthday though." I said.

"I did because you were here." He said as he kissed my cheek.

"Oh! I forgot, I have something for you! Wait here!" I said I went into my suitcase and took a little black box out with a bow on top of it.

"Open it, I got you something!" I said.

"Connie, you didn't have to! Honestly, seeing you was enough." Niall said.

"I love you and you mean a lot to me. After everything we've been through and you make me the happiest person in the world." I said.

"You make me the happiest." Niall said.

Niall opened the box and saw a silver watch.

"This is amazing! I love the watch? When did you get it?" Niall said.

"Last minute shopping here at Montreal! Oh look at the back of the watch." I said.

Niall turned it around and it had both of our names on it.

"It looks cooler with our names engraved." I said as I laughed.

Niall laughed. "Thank you so much Connie. I love you." He said.

"I love you too."

Niall laid down on my bed and said, "Wow, you know, I'm getting tired, maybe I should just sleep on this bed for the rest of the night" He winked.

I laughed, "Fine, you can."

We both laid down. He wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Good night Connie." He said as he kissed my cheek.

"Good night Niall. Happy birthday." I said.

From then, we dozed off.
