You and I (Niall Horan Fanfiction)

Connie's POV

I went backstage after I sang. I still felt the adrenaline pumping through my veins, but I had a lot of fun. I was standing backstage and watching the boys sing on stage. Niall looked back a couple of time and smiled at me. I smiled at him back as well.

When the concert ended, the boys came backstage.

"You were great Connie!" Zayn said.

"Yeah, I never knew you could sing!" Liam said.

I laughed. "Thank you guys."

"Connie, see I knew you could do it. You were great." Niall said as he came up to hug me. He kissed my cheek.

"But I hate you for bringing me on stage." I said as a joke.

Niall laughed. "Sorry. Let's go back to the hotel." Niall said he laughed.

We went back to the hotel. I'm getting really tired. Usually, during the summer, I stay up really late at night. But I guess this will help with my sleeping schedule because school is about to start in a week. However, I think being on tour really tired me out. I fell asleep in the car.

After 10 minutes later, I felt someone carry me. I was half asleep and I saw Niall. I was honestly too tired to even care.

Afterwards, I realized someone placed me on a bed.

"Good night Connie." Niall said as he kissed my forehead.

The next morning, I woke up in bed. I think I remember someone carrying me back to the hotel and on this bed. I rolled over and I saw Niall.

He looked so peaceful when he was sleeping. I thought it was cute because he had bed head.

I got out of my bed and went to stand near where he was sleeping.

"IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP!" I said trying to impersonate Harry.

Niall got scared and fell off the bed. I started laughing so hard that I fell to the ground.

"So is that your revenge to me for bringing you up on stage?" He said.

"Yes." I said and I laughed. "Good morning to you though." I said as I kissed him on the cheek.

"Good morning." Niall said as he smiled.

His voice was kind of raspy.

"Come on, we should get ready." I said. I was about to get off the bed, when Niall grabbed my arm.

"Can we just stay here all day?" Niall said as he tried to pull me towards his bed.

"I wish we could. But you have a concert today! I don't want you to miss something like that." I said as I smiled.

Niall smiled back and we both got up to get ready.

I felt like wearing a summer dress day. I went into my suitcase and got this cute white lace dress with a belt around it. I topped it off with some brown flats.

"You don't need to impress me Connie." Niall said in a joke.

"No one wants to either way." I laughed.

Niall pouted. I rolled my eyes at him and we left the hotel room.

We were walking down the hallway holding hands when Niall turned to me.

"Oh yeah, today the boys and I after the concert were going to get some drinks-." Niall said.

"Say no more. Go have fun with the guys. You should definitely enjoy a night out and take a break... from me. You don't need to ask me because I don't control your decisions." I said as I laughed.

"No, I love you and I wouldn't mind spending everyday with you." Niall said as he kissed my cheek.

"I love you too." I said.

"Oh yeah, after the concert yesterday in the car, I wanted to give you something, but you fell asleep." Niall said.

He pulled out something from his pocket. It was a heart necklace with our names on it.

"Niall, it's so pretty... I love it. Thank you so much." I said as I hugged him.

"Here, let me help you put it on." Niall said as he placed the necklace around my neck.

"I have a dog tag necklace with our names on it as well." Niall said.

"That's so cute." I said as I laughed.

"Thank you so much for everything you've done for me." I said to Niall as I kissed him.

"Thank you for so much for everything YOU'VE done for me." Niall said as he laughed.

"We should probably get going. We were meeting the others downstairs in the hotel lobby." I said.

We met up with the others to drive to the stadium. The boys did the usual and prepared for the concert. Then he went into his dressing room to get ready.

The concert started and we were in the crowd watching.

After the concert, we went back stage to meet with the guys.

"Hey Connie, are you sure you don't want me to hang back and stay with you?" Niall said.

"Of course not. Go have fun. I'm going to be with Bernice at the hotel room while the guys, Eleanor and Sophia go." I said.

"Alright, see you soon." Niall said as he kissed my cheek.

Bernice and I headed back to the hotel. I stayed at Bernice's room for a bit.

We were just catching up and having usual girl talk. I told her about the necklace and she was so happy for me. She also showed me a bracelet Harry had gotten her as well. It had a quote on it and it was so sweet.

It was around 2 a.m. and the boys still haven't been back. Bernice got tired, so she went back to her room and I went to Niall's to wait for him.

Someone knocked on the door and I went to open it. It was Liam, holding onto Niall. He seemed he had a good time because he was really drunk.

"I have your boyfriend." Liam said.

I laughed and I helped him carry him to his bed.

I thanked Liam and he left the room.

Niall was blacked out, to say the least. I didn't want to leave him or fall asleep just in case anything happened.

I was literally awake for most of the night.

Niall's POV

It was the 5 in the morning and I had the biggest hangover. My head was hurting a bit, but it was bearable. I could stand up at least. I rolled over and I saw Connie sitting on a chair with her head down sleeping.

I walked over towards her and asked, "Connie, wake up. What are you doing here?"

Connie woke up and said, "Oh, you were really drunk and I didn't want to leave you alone just in case. So, I stayed up. My neck hurts by the way." She laughed.

"Connie, you didn't have to do that for me." I said.

"No, it's fine. Just in case right?" Connie said. She looked at me and she seemed really tired.

I looked at her and smiled. I leaned over to give her a kiss.

She smiled, but she was still tired.

"Come on, you should go to bed." I said. I carried her over to the bed. I laid down next to me and wrapped my arms around her waist.

Before I fell asleep, I whispered into her ear, "I love you."
