Don't Forget Me

Ashlynn's POV

3 years earlier

"Hey Babe" Zayn says while coming inside the house.

"Hey" I say back while putting on the best fake smile I could pull off.

"What's the matter, you just used your fake smile?" He asks while walking behind me and hugging me from behind. I turn around so that I am facing him with my hands on his chest.

"Promise, you won't be mad?" I ask while looking into his eyes.

"I could never be mad at you." He says while pushing some of my hair behind my ear.

"Zayn, I'm pregnant." I say with a tear falling from my eye. He immediately backed away from me and looked disgusted.

"This baby isn't mine, we used protection, you cheated on me." He says getting angered.

"Not every time Zayn, remember last week on your birthday we had ran out of condoms so we didn't use one, plus I would never cheat on you, I havnt had sex with anyone beside for you." I lie and sob.

"Well get an abortion then, the lads and i's career is just taking off, I can't take care of a baby." He yells

"How could you say that." I sob while walking towards him. He walks backwards toward the door

"Please Zayn, don't leave I can't do this on my own, I need you," I say with tears pouring down from my eyes.

"I can't stay here, that thing will ruin my life." He says while pointing to my stomach.

"Zayn, please I thought you love me." He turns around to face me

"I DID love you, now I can't with that thing growing inside of you." He calmly says before walking out of the front door.

I drop to the ground and start crying my eyes out I thought he would be happy. We had always talked about having kids.


*Flashback*
"Ash, Zayns here for you." My mom called my 15 year old self from downstairs.
I ran down the stairs and saw Zayn at the bottom holding a bouquet of flowers .

"Happy 2 year anniversary." He says with a smile. I laugh and run to him and give him a huge hug and then a quick kiss, before taking the flowers from him and walking into the kitchen to put them in water.
Zayn followed me and once I put them in water, we walked onto the porch of my house. Zayn grabbed my hand and we started walking to the park.

"I love you, so much Ashlynn." Zayn said quietly while looking down at the ground. This was the first time we had exchanged the L-word. " I love you too Zayn. More then you can ever imagine."


At the park
We finally get to the park and I gasp when Zayn runs off towards a blanket on the green grass with picnic basket on it. I run after him and plop down onto the blanket.

"Are you hungry?" He asks. "Do you even need to ask?" I say while sitting up.

Once we finish eating it is about 5pm. Zayn and I start talking, and the next thing you know it is 8:45.

"Zayn, where do you see yourself in 10 years?" I ask while looking up at the stars.

"Well, I see myself with you in 10 years, in a big house, and with a couple of kids." I blush at his response.

"What about you?" He asks

"Same" I respond

"Zayn, can you promise me something?" I say while looking him.

He pecks my lips "Anything" he says

"Promise me you will never leave me just because things will get hard, and that you will never stop loving me?" I ask

He nods his head and says "Ashlynn, I could never leave you, and if in time we did break up I would never be able to stop loving you."

*End Of Flashback*


Well he broke his promise.
I feel my phone buzz in my pocket and it is a group message from the lads (Niall, Liam, Harry, Louis) Zayn, wasn't in it though.

Lo- Ash, did something happen between you and Zayn, he just barged in to my apartment when me and the rest of the lads were playing FIFA

N- Yeah, he won't tell us what happened:(

H- Is everything ok?

I respond and say

A- Everything is ok guys, I just think that we broke up. But it's ok, I'm ok, and it's probably for the best.

Li- Oh my god, but you guys were the 'it' couple all through high school. I am coming to pick you up and so we can get you guys back together, don't worry.

I read the message and start to tear up, I don't want to leave them, or Zayn, but I have to they are following their dreams and I am not going to stand in their way. I respond and say


A- If you do come over, you would just be wasting your time, by the time you get here I will already have my bags packed and be on my way home. I will miss you guys so much.

H- What do you mean 'home', this is your home Ash.

A- London is not my home, the US is, I only came here to be with Zayn, and we are not together anymore so what's the point? I got one good thing out of this though, I got 4 really good friends that I will miss very much.

Lo- Ash, please don't go I would miss you to much, is there anything we could do to make you stay?

A- No my mind is made up I need to be with my family right now.

N- Will we at least be able to keep in touch?

A- No, I am sorry guys, I just can't talk to you guys without thinking of Zayn, and I don't want to put myself through that. I will change my number once I get to the states.

H- Ash, please don't do this.

A- I'm sorry, but I have to. Don't forget me. Now to lighten up the mood, why don't we do our little quote?
I smile thinking of out quote that we always do with each other, we came up with it when we all got drunk and were dancing crazy.

H- Danced

N- To The

Li- Best Song

A-EVER!!!!!

N- I will never forget our little quote Ash

A- I won't either Ni

H- I promise one day the whole world will know it :)

A- ok whatever you say Harold. I got to go, my plane is about to leave and I already packed my bags.

Li- We will miss you!!!!

H-Yeah, we will, now who's going to watch over us.

A- Liam can take my place.

Li- Great...not

A- Bye Guys, Keep an eye on Zayn for me.

Lo- We will

A- don't forget about me.

N- Ash, we could never forget about you, you were one of the best things that ever happened to us. I will miss my food buddy:(

A- Same here. Bye:(

H- bye

N-bye

*Present Time
Things sure have changed in last 3 years. I havnt spoken to Zayn, or any of the other guys since. I was super close to all of them. And miss them dearly. They are now famous and have girls chasing after them, while I just work at Starbucks and try to make ends meet. I have a constant reminder of Zayn that I look at everyday....my daughter.....Eliza.
