Ch.7 A Day Out part 2
Niall's P.O.V.
I immeaditly grabbed Lyric's hand and practically dragged her to the far corner of the resteruant.she sat down at a booth and put her head on the table. she mumbled stuff to herself but i couldn't make out her words.i sat down next to her and i grabbed her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze and she did the same. she looked at me and she smiled but then her smile faded she was looking behind me. i could see Kayla by just looking into Lyric's eyes and not even having to turn around to see. she was walking awfully slow almost as if she was taunting her. sonn enough the guys came Louis came and sat down next to me Zayn, Liam, and Harry sat down on the other side of the booth. soon after them Kayla came.
"well hello lyric and lyric's boyfriend." kayla said. out of the corner of my eye i could see the guys gave me a questioning looks. i gave them a pleading look and they started to play along.
"what do you want kayla." Lyric said while squeezing my hand tighter.
" oh i just wanted to come over and tell you that your boyfriend over here isn't very cute. ha heck hes not even close to being cute." kayla said while nodding her head in my direction
Lyric's P.O.V.
I felt a wave of anger rush over me. i stood up and i jumped over niall and louis like a badass and i stood face to face with kayla.
"im sorry what did you just say." i asked her through gritted teeth
" i said that your boyfriend isn't very cute." i couldn't hold it back all the i anger i had against her just came flooding back and i suddenly felt my fist make impact with her face. she fell to the ground holding her jaw.and her nose bleeding.i turned around to look at the guys and they were already looking at me but they seemed scared and discusted. i turned back and ran i ran like there was no tomorro. i could here the guys calling my name but i didnt stop i just kept on running.
Niall's P.O.V.
Lyric just started to run sice she was in softball she was really fast. we all called for her to stop but she wouldn't.not even liam could catch up to her. after a while she started to slow down but that much so liam took the chance and got in her way and bumped into him and she was going so fast that they both fell to the ground.liam picked her up and she sat down and started to cry.i sat down next to her and pulled her in for a hug.
"shhh its ok its ok calm down its alright everythings gonna be alright." i whispered to her. she looked at me with her bloodshot eyes and all i could see was pain but there was a little speck of hope somewhere in there.
"im so sorry i dragged you guys into this mess and im extremly sorry that she said you werent cute."
"its fine i really dont care about what other people think of me." i said to her. she suddenly wrapped her arms around my neck and i wrapped my arms around her waist. she got up and held her hand out for me to take. she pulled me up and we didnt let go of each other's hands. we walked back to where the guys were.
" DAMN lyric you can run fast i swear i just lost a couple of pounds trying to catch up to you." louis said which caused her to giggle
"im sorry you guys had to see that side to me i just lost it im sorry." lyric said looking down at the ground
"why are you sorry that was AWESOME i really didnt know you had it in you." louis said
"ooh so are you and niall official yet or what.' harry said pointing to our intwined hands. the guys stood and looked at both of us with wide smiles spread across their faces. i turned to lyric only to find she was alresdy looking at me
"so are we." i asked only loud enough for her to hear.
" yes i think we are." she repiled with a smile.we both turned to face the guys.
"Yes we are."We both replied at the same time
"YEAA WHOOOOOOOOOOOO." all the guys screamed and started jumping up and down. we all got into a group hug. and we left and went to there car. lyric put her head on my sholder after a couple of minutes she fell asleep. i whispered " i love you." to lyric. and i fell into a deep sleep with my head on top of hers.
