Ch. 27 Run Away Part 1
Harry’s P.O.V.
When we landed niall told us that Lyric couldn’t come to pick us up so we took a cab and what’s worse was that it was raining pretty hard. We all got off and I paid the man.
“Home sweet home.” Niall mumbled. We all put our stuff down and sat on the couch and watched TV waiting until Lyric got home with the food.
After we had been watching TV for about half an hour Lyric burst through the door.
“hey I’m sorry I wish I could’ve been here sooner.” She said placing Chinese food on the table. Then she walked over to us and gave us hugs and pecks on the cheek.
“Alright let’s eat.” Louis said getting up off the couch and taking a seat around the table. To which we all did as well.
“so how did it go” Lyric asked. But before any of us could answer the door bell rang.
“It’s ok I’ll get it.” Lyric said getting up and walking towards the door. Us being curious we poked our heads out waiting to see who it was.
“oh hey Austin” she lightly said I looked down at niall and he was shaking his head and I knew exactly what he was thinking.
“You left your phone at the apartment.” He said pulling out her phone out of his pocket and handing it to her.
“Oh thanks so much.” She said
“Yeah well I better go I have to catch my flight.” He said
“ok” she said before giving him a rather long hug and she whispered something in his ear and he smiled lightly and nodded before kissing the top of her head and leaving. After she closed the door niall got up and stood about five feet away from her his fist clenched at his sides and he was fuming.
“Niall don’t.” Zayn said knowing where he was going with this but he ignored him. And then he asked the exact question we were trying to stop him for asking.
“Are you cheating on me?”
Lyric’s P.O.V.
“Are you cheating on me?” Niall asked
“What” I asked knitting my eyebrows in confusion
“Don’t pretend like you don’t know what I’m talking about.” He spat
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I said
“For the past six months you have been with Austin and you never told me. You have been filmed and photographed going to the hospital and going to get an ultrasound. So for that I guess you’ve been sleeping with him right.” He said nodding his head and pacing back and forth. “And how come you never told me huh.” He asked
“Do you really believe I have been cheating on you?” I said simply ignoring his question
“Well now I don’t know what to think that all I have been reading these past few months.” He said raising his voice “so I’m gonna ask you again did you cheat on me” he asked
“No I didn’t and I would never” I yelled
“then why were you with him 24/7 and going to the hospital and going to get and ultrasound.”
“his mom got diagnosed with two cancers that’s why we were at the hospital and his 18 year old sister is pregnant with twin that’s why I was there ‘to get an ultrasound’ you idiot and why I didn’t tell you was because if I cried which I probably was going to I would have you there to comfort me and you know what else I didn’t tell you is that she’s dead” I screamed and as I said those words Niall's face softened he opened his mouth to speak but he then closed it.
“The only woman that was there for me after all that crap I didn’t talk to her but she understood why. The only person that actually cared about me is now DEAD.” I yelled I and I was about to walk out but I didn’t I walked up to him and I slapped him
“How dare you accuse me of cheating on you when three boys have cheated on me” I said I shook my head and ran out but I stopped at the door and turned to look at Niall.
“We’re done” I said before running out
“Lyric wait” the boys called out after me but I didn’t listen. I walked out of the building out onto the pouring rain. I jogged down the road when I found a park. I walked over and I sat down on a bench. I pulled my knees to my chest and I wrapped my arms around my legs and I did what I did best. I cried.
