Ch. 13 History Was Made Part 1
Niall's P.O.V.
I watched as the ball went out of the park.my smile grew wider and wider as it went out.and when it did i started to fangirl i was so happy for lyric that i cant even describe.i looked at home base where i saw lyric on the ground holding her right foot.i froze. her right foot was...it,it wasnt facing the right way. i think it spun at a 90 degree angle. i gasped just looking at how hurt she looked.and the gang noticed my gasp and turn to look at lyric their smiles fading.
"oh my god babe her foot."perrie said lightly tugging on zayns arm.lyric carefully got up and started to drag her right leg across the dirt to first base. i slightly smiled at how strong she was being but i was also scraced that she might hurt herself more than she already is.as she stepped on the base she triped and fell face first.the croud gasped as she hit the floor.yet no one went to help her why. why weren't they helping her she was badly hut why weren't they.
"somebody help her." i shouted twice until i felt a hand on my shoulder. i turned around to see danielle and perrie. i gave them a slightly confused look since it looked like they were gonna say something. i looked at them intently waiting for one of them to speak up.perrie was the first one to speak up.
"they cant." she said simply. i was so confused so she continued.
"they cant help lyric niall." she said
"what why." i said
"well we all read the rules to know about the game." danielle said
"yeah." i said as i glanced at lyric she was about to touch second base.
"there's a rule that says that the coach and team mates of a player running the bases are not allowed to touch the runner or else the runner is out." danielle said
"yeah mate if they want lyric's out of the ball park run to count they need to let her get to home base by herself and i really dont think that she needs help." harry said while pointing to lyric. I smiled to myself as i saw lyric half way to third base.
"hey why dont we encourage her ." eleanor said while turning to look at us. we mumbled stuff in agreemeant.
"ok lets start a chant 'cuase im out of stuff to say." louis said
"yea ok why dont we start the lets go lyric lets go *clap clap clap*." perrie said
"ok" we all said.
"ok ready 3..2..1 lets go lyric lets go*clap clap clap* lets go lyric lets go *clap clap clap*." after a while everyone started to join in even the girls on the batting divas started to join in too.lyric turn to face us gave us a small smileand then presses her forehead to the ground. she looked back up and started to crawl with her elbows and her legs dragging across the ground.
"guys its working come on louder." liam said and we all started to chant louder. lyric touched third base andshe sat down on it. she looked out at the croud then pressed her hands on the base and attempted to get on her feet she winced as she got on her feet. and she started to slowly trudge to home base.
Lyric's P.O.V
I got up onto my feet and i started to slowly advance to home base. but i started to feel nausious and dixxy the chanting of the croud slowly faded. when i was a couple of feet away from home base i stuck my hand out and i passed out but i was sure i touch the base.
