Skylar's P.O.V
I slowly opened the door and hobble into the room, damn these heels. I chuck them off and flop down on my bed, I hate parties. I sigh and get up to change, I throw on some shorts, a large batman sweatshirt, and converse. I walk out of the room and make my way to the track, once iI'm there I lay down in the middle and look at the stars. I start to sing a thousand years by Christina Perri, I continue to sing until I hear the sound of foot steps. I shot straight up and saw a guy with blonde hair and blue eyes,"Sorry for scaring you, I just wanted to say you sing beautifully." He said with a small smile, why does every guy I meet at the track have to be hot? Wait what, did I just call him hot?"Uh, thats okay. And thanks." I said and got up,"My name is Luke, Luke Hemmings. We have some classes together." He said and stuck out his hand, I laughed and shook it,"So what are you doing out here all alone?" He asked and let go of my hand, I shrugged and laid back down."I just needed to get away." I say looking for constellations,"Away from what?" He said laying down next to me,"This party I went to, I don't know why I even went. I hate parties." I replied closing my eyes,"Me too, they're to loud, to many people. Its just not my thing." He said, I took a deep breath and opened my eyes and met his."So what is your thing?" I asked, he smiled and leaned closer to my face."Music." He simply said,"Music? As in making music?" I question, he nods and closes his eyes."You sing?" I asked and smiled, he nodded."Can you sing for me?" I asked excitedly, he opens his eyes and stands up."I haven't really sang in front of anyone except a few of my friends." He said looking away, I stood up and make him face me."Come on, please? I promise I won't laugh if you suck." I say with a straight face, he cracks a smile and laughs."Thanks for the support." He said with another smile, I love his smiles. My eyes widen as I mentally face palm myself, come on Skylar, you just met the guy! He could be a creepy stalker for all I know,"Please Luke?" I said and gave him my best puppy dog face,"Fine!" He said after a few seconds, I laughed and clapped my hands."Meet me back here at 8 tomorrow." He said with a smile, I nodded my head and skipped away.
