Skylar's P.O.V
With a smile on my face, I kiss Luke's cheek before Rachel and I leave the apartment. Seems that we're going to a party Harry and Louis invited us to, it took some convincing, but the boys agreed to come along. Once we're at the dorm, I rush inside and head to my closet, instantly grabbing my new short black dress I had just bought only days before.
Glancing at the clock, I realize I had about 3 hours until the party.
"Trying to impress someone, Skylar?" Rachel smirked playfully, her eyebrows up, I bit my lip and blush before running a hand through my hair.
"I guess so." I smile at her, instantly returning the fire. "How about you? Trying to impress Ashton?"
Her cheeks also turn a light pink before she scurries to her closet, biting back a smile.
"Maybe." She replied, pulling out a knee length red dress.
"Yep, Ashton's definitely going to be impressed."
~A few hours later~
With our make-up, dresses, killer high heels, and smiles on, Rachel, Tricia and I walk over to the address of the party Louis texted to Rachel.
"So you and Louis are pretty close, huh?" Tricia asked Rachel, bumping her shoulder into Rachel's playfully.
"Yeah." She smiled, focusing ahead of us, "we're here."

I look up and stare at the huge mansion, I could already hear the music, and besides the drunk couples laying around the yard, it looked really nice. Luke had texted me earlier, letting me know that they were going to be a little late for an unknown reason. Once we're inside, I instantly spot Harry dancing with a girl, making me hate her right then and there.
"Hey, uh, I'm just going to go over there." I mumble, barley heard over the loud music. Without a reply, I head to what must be the backyard and nearly fall into the pool when a bunch of shirtless guys run by me with water guns. I make my way to a swing at the very end of the backyard, finding it better then being in the house full of sweaty and drunk people.
"What're you doing out here alone?" My eyebrows draw together as Harry sits down next to me, staring at me with a hard gaze. "shouldn't you be with your boyfriend, hemmings?"
I shrink back at the harshness in his voice, but sigh softly and turn back to him.
"Look Harry, things would never work out between us, Rachel would never be okay with us." I mumble, nervously biting my lip, but keeping my eyes focused on Harrys.
"She would be perfectly fine with it! You're just using her as an excuse, she's not the real reason we're not together, now is it?" He spat, clenching his jaw before looking away. My mouth opens to respond, but nothing comes out. "just forget it."
"Wait!" I put my hands on his before he has the chance to stand, and before I know it, Harrys lips are on mine and the bright light of a camera flash goes off.
