Flirting With Temptation

Gwen and I hung out all night. Watching as performer after performer did their shows and dancing along to their music. It was down to the last couple of performers and I was honestly tired. We'd danced so much it was almost like we were performing too. Gwen and I were laughing as Alex did a weird dance when someone grabbed my arm. I turned around and saw Liz with a smile on her face. “Your presence has been requested!” My eyebrows furrowed as she led me down through the halls until she shoved me forcefully into a room. I laughed as I saw Ke$ha all dolled up about to go on. “Hey doll face!” I laughed and walked over giving her a tight hug. “I haven't seen you in forever! You look amazing as usual!” She giggled and pulled me away to look at my outfit. “I approve!” She winked at me and I ran a hand through my hair. “Well love, what's up?” She gave me a mischievous look and walked over to me slowly. “Well.....I have a favor to ask!” I watched her curiously as she walked around me in a circle. “Okay.....you're scaring me!” She walked over to a small closet and pulled out a pair of heels and a ridiculous outfit. “Will you dance on stage with me? I wanted to do something crazy for this tour and I figured, what's better than having my good friend Chelsea dance on stage with me and then run through the crowd in disguise?!”

I laughed with her and shook my head. “You're crazy, but luckily for you so am I! I'll do it! What the hell is that outfit though?!” She giggled as I began shedding clothing and putting on what she'd given me. “I always dress crazy, and it's totally out of your comfort zone! They'll never even know it's you!” Once I was dressed I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled. “You're right.....I look completely different! In a good way!” She giggled staring at me from behind. “So hot! You need to wear sexy things more often!” We had a good laugh and then she held out a bright blue wig. “Here! Even better!” She helped me pull my hair up and then we slid the wig on. At this point I couldn't even tell it was me, and the fans would have no idea! “At the end of the show we'll do a reveal and see their faces when they realize they've been dancing with a celebrity all along!” One of the stage hands opened the door and did a double take before shaking his head. “You're on in less than a minute!” We exchanged an excited look before running out holding hands.

We made it to the side of the stage where the rest of her dancers were bouncing around and getting ready and everyone else had no freakin' clue who I was. Even Gwen was whispering to Liz who was cracking up. The other dancers all knew and were whispering to me excitedly. All the lights dimmed out on stage and they all rushed out but Kesha told me she'd introduce me. She ran out to a crowd screaming her name and it only got louder. When she got to the mic in the middle of the stage she smiled. “Hello warriors! I wanna kick this show off with my absolute favorite song on my new album! But I'm bringing a special guest on stage to help me! Please welcome, Queen C!” I laughed at the name but ran out on stage and she pulled me into a hug. She winked at me as the music started. We began dancing like crazy as she began singing Dirty Love.

After a minute I jumped off the stage and began making my way through the crowd as a spotlight followed me. I'd stop for a couple of seconds and dance with the fans. A couple people were videotaping it and I'd stop for a second and let them film me. One guy freaked out when I started dancing with him and took out his camera. I gave him a long kiss on the cheek as he took a picture and then thanked me by freaking out. I laughed and made my way back down to the stage when the song was almost over. I made it on stage for the last couple of seconds and Kesha and I began grinding on each other laughing as she sang. When the song was over the crowd went absolutely insane and we hugged each other around the waist. She was breathing heavily but smiled through it all and then grinned at me. “Ready?” I nodded as she dropped her arm and looked to the crowd. “Give a big round of applause to Queen C everybody!” They screamed for both of us and then she grinned. “Anybody recognize Queen C? Anybody?” She waited as the crowd got quieter and then looked to me. “Say hello, to one of my very good friends on tour!” I yanked off the sunglasses and then slid off the wig letting my blonde hair fall down to my shoulders as I shook it out. The crowd went crazy the second the reveal was made and I watched as security had to move people back a ways as they jerked forward. She pulled me in and gave me a sloppy kiss on the cheek and then spanked my ass.

I laughed and then gave her a kiss on the cheek in return before waving to the crowd and running off the stage to let her perform again. The second I was off stage Gwen was laughing so hard tears were streaming down her face. “Oh my God! We were all wondering who the hell you were in that blue wig! You look totally different! In a very, very good way!” I grinned at her and noticed Niall a couple feet away grinning at me as he and Louis spoke. “Thank you. Kesha's my new personal stylist in case you were wondering!” She giggled and took out her phone. “Let's take a picture of you!” I pulled my hair back up and put the wig back on. I left the sunglasses off so people could tell it was me and then put my hands on my hips giving her a ridiculous face. She snapped the picture and posted it on Twitter with the caption “Queen C”. She laughed and told me that fans were posting all over Twitter about me and Kesha. “One kid practically pissed himself when I took a picture with me, he's probably even more excited now that he knows it's me!” She burst out laughing and nodded as she and Alex began talking.

“I'll be right back.” She nodded without looking over, too wrapped up in her conversation as I walked over to Niall and Louis. Louis grinned at me and laughed. “Nice outfit! It works for you.” I smiled at him and rolled my eyes. “I'm gonna take that as a compliment. Mind if I steal your friend here?” They exchanged a look and then Louis made a noise as if he were thinking until Niall shoved him away playfully. “I'll catch up to ya later!” Louis winked at us both as he ran off, probably to find the other guys. Niall turned to me and grinned. “Well hello there.” I instantly blushed realizing I was standing in front of him, half-dressed. “Hey! How are you? We haven't spoken since earlier.....just too busy I suppose?” He smiled and nodded. “Yeah, the guys and I want everything to be perfect so we've been discussing everything since rehearsals. Are ya excited for tomorrow?” He leaned forward slightly as he said this and I couldn't help but notice his delicious smelling aftershave.

“Hell yeah! Although hopefully, I'm dressed a little more.....appropriately!” He chuckled slightly and shrugged. “Doesn't matter, ya look beautiful either way.” If I wasn't blushing before I definitely was now. “Thanks......it's kind of.....not me, but I guess it looks alright.” He glanced behind me and soon someone's arm wrapped around my waist. I looked to see Alex grinning. “Queen C is now a trending topic on Twitter. Your photo is blowing up! You're insane.” I laughed loudly and then Alex noticed Niall. “Oh.....sup man?” He held out a hand and Niall took it and shook it. “Niall....and you're Alex, right?” Alex nodded and gave me a grin. I glanced at Niall as he looked slightly uneasy and then looked at Alex with wide eyes. “Can we talk.....later?” Alex glanced between us now and then laughed. “Uh, sure! Catch up with you later! A couple of us are going to the club if you wanna meet up with us!” He waved and then took off with Gwen and Jack. I looked over quickly at Niall and giggled nervously. “Sorry, he's one of my best friends.....probably just being an idiot.” Niall gave me an unsure smile and nodded. “So you goin with them?”

I shrugged and cleared my throat. “Probably not. I like to get a lot of rest before I do a show. I'm already sleep-deprived, why make it worse, ya know?” He chuckled and I noticed some people backstage looking at us. “Listen, do you want to get out of here? I mean.....unless you have something else in mind.” Niall looked around after I did and then smiled. “Sure, just head back to the hotel?” I nodded quickly and pulled off my blue wig. “Yeah!” He smiled and offered his arm. “This way, my lady.” I grinned at his weirdness and looped my arm through his as we walked through the halls. We made it to a back door where Liz had a car called or us. She had raised her eyebrow when she'd seen me with Niall but had thankfully said nothing. Security was waiting at the door when we'd arrived and stood close to us as they opened the doors to fans screaming. The flashes were more blinding than usual and I soon realized why as we got halfway to the car. “Chelsea, are you and Niall together?! Niall is she your girlfriend? How long have you two been together?” I covered my eyes and looked down walking quickly as Niall squeezed my arm slightly with his hand.

We made it to the car and climbed in quickly shutting the door on the craziness. “The hotel please.” I said this to the driver who seemed just as curious as the photographers. I reached over and pressed the button, watching as the partition between the driver and backseat lifted quickly. When it was up I leaned back in my seat and buckled my seat belt. I looked over at Niall who seemed thoughtful and bit my lip. “You okay?” He looked over and instantly a smile filled his face. “Course! Just real tired after today! Why.....are you?” I gave him a shy smile and nodded. “Yeah.....just tired.” He smiled looking down at me as I slouched down and closed my eyes. It had been a long, stressful day and all I wanted to do was curl up in my bed. It felt like a long ride and I began to fell asleep. My head lulled to the side until my forehead rested on Niall's shoulder. When the car stopped he tapped my leg gently and I awoke with a start. “I'm sorry! I didn't mean to fall asleep!” He smiled and shook his head quickly. “No problem, you were tired. Let's get you up to your room.”

I was mortified I'd fallen asleep but was glad he understood. We got out quickly and ran into the hotel and got to the elevator quickly. Once inside the elevator I leaned on the back wall and sighed loudly. He looked over curiously and I let out a little laugh. “Sorry, just really tired.” He grinned at me and then got out on our floor. We walked until we got to my hotel room and I unlocked it before stepping inside and turning around to look at him. “Will you be at breakfast tomorrow?” He smiled at me and leaned against the door frame, mere inches from my face. “Course, can I expect to see ya there?” I smiled and laughed quietly. “Yeah! On time, hopefully but we'll see.” He nodded slowly and glanced down the hallway. “Shall I be goin then?” I bit on my lip slightly and nodded. “See you tomorrow.” He took a small step backward but looked like he wasn’t' sure he wanted to leave.

Closing the door very slowly I leaned against the door and took a long, deep breath. I closed my eyes and thought about the way he'd called me beautiful earlier. It made my heart race, and I wasn't too sure I wouldn't pass out. I'm glad I'd skipped out on the club tonight, because the extra time with Niall, asleep or not, was excellent. I walked over to my suitcases and got dressed in a simple t-shirt and a pair of basketball shorts and climbed into bed. I set my alarm to wake me up and then laid in bed messing around on my phone. Alex had been right, the Queen C photos had been trending on Twitter which got me a good laugh. I put my phone down after 30 minutes and then settled into bed. It was hard to fall asleep with him on my mind, but eventually I prevailed and woke up a couple hours later to my alarm blaring. I yawned loudly and turned it off before getting up. For some reason, even though I'd only gotten a couple hours of sleep I was well rested.

I was actually energized and ready for today and all that came with it, and I was also excited to see Niall. I went into the bathroom and took a quick shower. When I got out I blow-dried my hair and left it down and slightly curly. I wrapped a towel tightly around me before walking out and to the suitcases. I put on a bra and then a thong before selecting my outfit for the day and getting it on. After I was done getting dressed I walked back into the bathroom and applied some light blue eyeshadow and a bright pink lip gloss before inspecting myself in the mirror. I actually looked really good today and I was excited for the rest of the day. I hopped out of the bathroom and grabbed up my phone before shoving it in my pocket and heading out. I was actually on time today and as I waited for the elevator I was excited. When the doors open Liz stood in front of me in awe. “Oh......you're already up......and dressed? Are you feeling alright?” I slapped her hand away playfully as I climbed into the elevator with her and pressed the penthouse button. “I feel great! Really excited for tonight!” She kept giving me eyes as we waited until the doors opened. I smiled at her before getting out of the elevator and letting my eyes scan the room. I saw Gwen's hair first and headed over quickly. I sat down and she looked up at me, half-asleep and surprised. “You're......early.”

I rolled my eyes at her and smiled up at the waitress. “I'll just take a large cup of coffee please.” She walked away as I leaned back in my seat and looked at Gwen. “I can be on time, you know? It's rare, but it happens. You look like crap, how late were you out last night?” She gave me a grin as she sipped on her coffee and shrugged. “Not sure. Didn't pay attention, but I'm exhausted, so I'll probably take a nap while you figure things out for the show tonight.” I smiled at her and then thanked the waitress as she set the coffee in front of me. I put in 3 creams and then 5 scoops of sugar and stirred thoughtfully. “Sounds good to me. We've got plenty of time for you to rest up before tonight.” She yawned loudly and I took a long drink of my coffee. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up before my face lit up seeing Niall. “Mind if I sit with ya? The guys are runnin' a tad bit late.” I smiled and motioned for the seat beside me. “Of course!” He took a seat and then turned to me quickly. “You look great today, well-rested and ready to go?” I nodded quickly and set my cup down. “I actually am! I can't wait for rehearsals and to see what the stage set-up is today!”

He chuckled and ran a hand through his hair and glanced around. “Me too! I just hope the guys are on time, they usually are though!” I smiled as he ordered his food and my stomach grumbled slightly. I didn't usually eat breakfast but I hadn't eaten dinner the night before. Niall looked over and laughed loudly. “You should eat before today.” I giggled and set an embarrassed hand on my stomach. “You're probably right. I'll catch her when she comes back around.” He shook his head and waved me off. “Nonsense, you can have some of mine! I always order too much anyway!” I smiled at him but felt a nudge by my foot. I looked back at Gwen curiously and she nodded behind me. I took one look and groaned before turning back to Niall. He seemed confused about my sudden mood change until Jesse popped up and stopped behind me. “How are you this morning?” I shrugged and kept my mouth shut tightly. Jesse sighed deeply as I looked away from him completely and Niall looked up at him. “Listen man.....I don't think she wants to talk to ya right now.” I looked over at Niall in surprised that he'd even said anything.

Jesse looked even more shocked than I as he scowled down at him. “I'm sorry. Who are you again? I'm her boyfriend.” My mouth quickly formed into a scowl as I looked up at Jesse in disgust. “Ex-boyfriend, remember? You cheated on me while I was on tour? Any of this ringing a bell? Why don't you go annoy someone else, Jess. I'm not in the mood this morning.” He stared down at me in anger before shaking his head and walking off quickly. I looked over at Niall and sighed. “Sorry about him, he's an ass......but thanks.” He smiled at me and I felt his hand on my knee casually. “No problem!” The waitress sat his food in front of him and his hand slid off my knee to my disappointment. He unwrapped his silverware and then glanced over at me and motioned towards the food. “Want some?” I nodded once before unwrapping my silverware. The rest of breakfast was uneventful, other than the small food fight Niall and I had.

After breakfast Liz whisked me away from Niall and into a car to get the the arena. Once there I changed into my workout outfit and I worked out with my personal trainer, Madison. After that I got changed back into normal clothes and worked directly with the stage manager to ensure my part of the concert would run smoothly and that things were the way I wanted them to be. I noticed I was one of the only artists to work with the crew to ensure things were how I wanted. The rest just let him do as he pleased with the stage set-up. I hoped I wasn't intruding, or that he'd be annoyed but he seemed thankful for the input. After that Gwen, Todd, and I rehearsed and things went great. We did three songs, with the dancers and all. Liz had made sure I was practicing the choreography a couple weeks before tour started so that we wouldn't have to do that during tour. After we'd rehearsed Gwen went back to the hotel for a couple more hours of sleep but I stuck around to watch One Direction perform. I loved the energy that they brought to the stage, and Niall's antics on stage made me laugh. After they were done Niall came over and smiled at me. “You busy?” I shook my head no and he grinned. “Good, we're going to lunch!” He grabbed my hand gently and began leading me through the arena to the doors. I wasn't sure where we were going but I knew we'd end up having fun.
