Your POV:

I sat in my little beat up Honda, staring out the window at the building in front of me. I could not be more pissed off with the assignment they gave me. Yes I was an up and coming reporter, but this was utterly ridiculous.

The old decaying building seemed to cry out in the cloudy and dark day, screaming at me to run for my life. That is what this building was giving me, a horror movie in the making.
I nervously read my email again from my boss, stating what I needed to investigate for this report:

*Your name*
I am contacting you with a very important and serious investigation we would like you to complete for us. We are sending you to this address: 1234 Paisley Road, 18624.
There is a man here who is the owner of the institute.

Institute? I started reading again nervously:

Some odd happenings have been going down, and a few rumors have escaped this place. We would like you to fulfill the rumors and find out if they are indeed real. The rest of the attachments are from witnesses, the rumors you will be investigating.

I was too exited that I finally got a real case to report that I never took the time to actually decipher what I was really doing.

I gazed back up at the building, a light flicked on and then quickly off in one of the windows. A cold shiver ran down my spine, as I clicked onto the attachments:

“We have seen strange people going in and out of the asylum…”

I looked up at that. Now I understood why I was put onto this. Yes it was a case that anyone would want, but no one was brave enough to go to a crazy place, that god knows what happened here, that’s why they spared me the details and sent me happily away.
This was my breaking moment, and I was utterly lost at what I should do.
