Pissed off with my parents, I decide to book it out of there, their protests hurtling at my back as I slam the door shut behind me. I ran out to the road and down the street before I slowed down. Peeking behind me to see if they followed, seeing nothing I slowed my pace down, calming my racing heart.

I had a bad feeling that my parents would react terribly to this outfit, but so what, it’s my life, not theirs.

I smirk at my boldness and strut down the road to school. The gorgeous sunny day, cool breeze blowing my skirt around, butterflies dancing around happily, everything seemed perfect now.

A honk distracted me from my walk of confidence; I turned to see what the commotion was to come face to face with Louis Tomlinson. He had a huge grin plastered on his face as he gave me a once over, slowing his eyes down on my chest and legs. I shook the unease away from the first time being checked out this way and said, “Hey? Do you need something?”

“You look awfully provocative today.” He winked at me; I narrowed my eyes at that, reminding me of my parents.

He threw his hands up in defense, “Sorry sorry, didn’t mean to offend you, I should have said you look awfully sexy today.”

I sigh, rolling my eyes, it was basically the same comment to me, “Thanks.” I mutter out, starting to walk again.

He moved his car at a slow pace to not get too far ahead of me, he yelled out, “Want to get in? I can take you to school.”

I stared at him, cautious, yet intrigued. He was one of the hottest guys on our block that was in his twenties, every girl in high school wanted him, and here he was chatting me up instead. I slowed down, contemplating what I should say.
