She Looks So Perfect

Luke’s POV

He sighed and looked me straight in the eyes. “When’s the last time you thought about Adeline?”

My eyes began to water, my hands start to shake, and my teeth are gritted together. Why did he have to bring her up? I was just in the moment for this concert. Now I feel like just sitting the show out and not going out there. Performing doesn’t seem so easy tonight as it seemed earlier before Ashton just had to bring up that devil who broke my heart.

“I’m going for a walk.” I said, not even answering his question. He can wait until later. I get out my chair swiftly and walk out the door before he can tell me anything. He’s the only one who knows about Adeline. He’s the only one who knows what she did to me. I pushed on the door that led to the back and felt the cool breeze hit my face. I never thought it’d be so cold in London, but I guess it is.

I walked until I found the perfect place to sit down and think. Think about what I need to do with my life to make it better.

Ashton’s POV

I had only asked when’s the last time he thought about her because I knew he screamed on the bus. And he’s been tossing and turning in his bed. I’m not stupid. I know my best friend. I sit back and rubbed my eyes. I let out a huge breath. What did I do? The concert starts in three hours and we don’t have our lead singer. I’m such a douche. It could have waited until we were back at the hotel. I walked out the room and headed to Calum’s and Michael’s dressing room. They’ll know what to do. I knocked on their door and Calum opened it, holding a sandwich.

“I need your help. Luke just walked out and now I can’t find him.” I said.

Michael came up. “What’s going on?”

Calum tried to talk, but his mouth was stuffed and it sounded liked muffled sounds on a car. Michael looked at me for an answer.

“Luke ran off after getting real angry.” I said. Michael slapped me.

“You deserve it, dummy.” He said.
