She Looks So Perfect

Luke’s POV

We’re all sitting around, waiting for Zayn’s sister to come out. Why does she even have to come? I don’t know her, but I just wanted to have guy’s time. No girls, just guys. I can get away with a whole lot more without any girls around.

“Hey, Justine!” The boys exclaimed.

My head turned to the direction where everybody was looking. There in front of me was the girl anybody would die for. She was just so beautiful! I wanted her in every way possible. She has to be a fan. Nobody could wear our shirt and not be a fan. She’s the one for me. I’m going to make her mine one day.

“Luke, this is my sister, Justine. For the info, she is off limits to everybody.” Zayn whispered in my ear. I jumped. When did he get right there?

“Sorry.” I told him. “Can we get this show on the road?”

The boys laughed and gathered their things. I glanced over at Justine, who looked lost in thought. How could she be off limits? She’s amazingly charming. She had crescent shaped eyes and a wonderful tan. The way she bit her lip was different from anybody else who did it. She’s looks way better than all of my past girlfriends. Her personality has to be way better than theirs also.

Her head lifted and her eyes made contact with mine. She blushed and looked down immediately. I smirked and found my way to the door, getting out of this place before I got myself into trouble. I ran onto the bus and threw my things down on the couch.

I let out a scream. A well needed scream. A lot of anger coming out. After a while, the screaming died down. Nobody needed to hear of that and question me to my death. My legs took over me and I ended up in the bathroom. Seeing myself in the mirror made me wonder what type of monster have I become? Why do I go in private just to scream? What put that there? BIts and pieces started coming back to me. Finally, it all came back to me.

It was a cold, dark day outside, but I was outside. I remember laughing and cracking jokes with her. The love of my life, or what I thought was the love of my life. Being young, you don’t really know what love is, but I thought I did.

“I love spending every moment with you. I know we’re only fourteen, but I want to take things to the next level.” Looking into her innocent eyes, I could tell she was scared. Scared of what I was about to say. “I don’t want to have that relationship where we are scared to kiss or hold hands. I want to kiss you and hold your hands around the hallways. Do you want to take it to the next level?”

Her eyes furrowed and her smile faded into a frown. “Luke, I would like that, but I’m scared. Scared of getting attached to something. And- and I… cheated on you.”

The last part rang through my head. She had to be kidding. Scared of getting attached, then cheating. This girl was hilarious. Tears started forming as I realized she wasn’t kidding. How could she do this to me? After all I’ve done for her, she repays me by cheating.

“I’m really sorry. I never meant to hurt you. You’re a wonderful guy and anybody would be lucky to have you.” She placed her small hands on my shoulder. I shook them off.

“Get away from me, slut. You’ve done nothing but hurt me today. I don’t ever want to see you another day in my life.” I growled, pushing her away. Can’t believe I just told her that and called her that. But that’s what she is, a voice inside my head said.

“Luke, are you in here?” A voice called from the front, bringing me back to my senses of today, the real world.

“I’m in the bathroom. Be out in a second.” I said. I turned the nozzle for the water and squirted water all over my face. I need to forget about that day.
