An Unexpected Occurrence

"What the hell?" I spat out at them as the blizzard continued around them.
I shut the door before I could think what I did.
"Oh shit" I muttered to myself and opened to door up again to one direction standing outside my house.
"Can we come in? It's a little cold out here" said the boy with the curly hair filled with snow
"uh sure"
I only recognized them from One direction and I didn't even know their names. They just keep staring at me!
"so.." I said," Why are you guys at my house?"
"Well, our tour bus broke down because we were in the area looking for houses and they aren't really any hotels we can walk to so we just picked a house and hoped that the family inside would be nice" said the one with the darkest features
"And you left your blind open so we knew that someone was home" said the curly one.
I bluntly responded," well that's not creepy. Welcome to my home I'm Kennedy"
"I'm Niall that's harry, Liam, Louis, and zayn. You might recognize us from the band one direction"
I finally processed everything in my head, one direction, my house snow sto....
"AHHHHHHHHH!! OH MY GOD ONE DIRECTION!!"
i was interrupted as my little sister came upstairs and saw the boys.
"Well I guess you could say she's a fan" said my older sister following behind her.
As I was introducing my older sister, Kayla, all I could notice was the way Harry was biting his lip and his stared at her in her yoga pant shorts and loose fitting t-shirt
Louis saw me look at harry and said," Harry it is not very polite to not look at the person who's talking."
His face instantly turned red as I started cracking up. That's the thing about me. I always laugh. No matter if the joke is not funny I still laugh. It's kinda my signature thing.
"I'm not sure if I can follow that but this little star stuck creature is my little sister, Kaley,"
"Hi guys!!"
"Aw you are so adorable!"
"Hehe thanks Liam"

"So uh why are you guys here again?"
The boys looked at each other then finally Zayn spoke "We were hoping we could maybe stay the night"
What is a girl supposed to say when 5 hot boys ask if the can stay at her house?
"I have to ask my mom but probably considering the conditions outside"
Oh shit Kennedy! Really ? The mom card? Ugh I can be such a loser some Times.


Almost on perfect cue, my mom walked out if the kitchen.
"What do you need to ask me honey?"
"well," I said scared of what she might think of 5 random guys staying at our house," This is one direction with I'm pretty sure you already know because we live with Kaley."
"And?"
I whispered really fast,"Their bus broke down and they need somewhere to stay until the storm calms down."
"What?" she responded
Just as I was about to tell her again, Niall cut me off and told her the whole story and asked to spend the night in a more calm and collect kinda way.
My mom looked at me then said," Why didn't ya say that in the first place? you guys are welcome to stay as long as you like! Kennedy they can sleep in the guest bedroom and on some of the couches in the basement. It's late why don't you show them now?"
"Uh okay mom," I replied not wanting to show those hormonal guys around my house.

"So this is the guest room there's a closet if you guys wanna put some stuff away and a bathroom"
All of a sudden, Zayn and Liam shouted that they want to stay in there so that's that.
"Let's go see the basement!" said Louis, wow sometimes I swear that boy is a little too enthusiastic
"Can we eat after, please?" asked Niall as I hear his stomach growling in the background.
"Sure lets just get you situated. So this is the basement and her is the closet with extra blankets and pillows."
"So where is your bedroom?" Asked Louis,
Mine is upstairs ill show you it he rest of the house after we eat."
* skip to everyone in the kitchen*
"So here's your pizza do you guys want anything to drink?"
They all said "TEA!" at the same time.

After their food and tea, I decided to show them upstairs.
after showing them my parents room, Kaley's room, and almost losing harry talking to Kayla in her room, we finally got to my room.

"Your room is so cool!" said Liam

"Haha thanks" I replied.
"I like all your pictures above your bed and on your corkboard ."
Maybe I was wrong about these boys, they are actually sweet not stuck up.
"Thanks I always knew I was sweet deep down" Harry replied cheekily.
"shit did I just say that out loud?"
"Yes love," said Zayn
"Sorry"
"It's okay I would feel the same way" Niall said as he came and say a little to close to me on my bed.
"Well," I said as I jumped up, and went to the door, "It is late and I'm going to sleep so if you guys have any problems or anything uh just wake me up at anytime but only if it's serious."
"Thank you so much," said liam
"Yes thank you!" Louis chipped in
"hey well it's better then being responsible for having 5 hot guys freeze in the Chicago snow."
"You just called us hot" said Niall as a huge grin spread across his face.
"pfftt i never said that!"
"Yes love, you did" Niall replied back
Louis butt in and said," we should really go to sleep thanks again."
Zayn, Harry, and Louishugged me. Then, Liam hugged me for a long time and Niall for an even longer time.
"Okay good night boys," was the only thing I managed to spit out after one of the weirdest days I have ever experienced.
