chpt. 2: Hello
Lacey's POV
"lace get your ass up" Esperanza said while walking into my room. "shut up espy" I said while sitting up "love you" she said and then left.
I walked down the stairs and grabbed some cereal. "espy I need a job" she turned around while smirking. "you know my Uncle" I shook my head 'no'. oh btw Esperanza is adopted. "oh well, My uncle is Simon Cowell and he was looking for a babysitter for Niall effing horan. I'm going over to his house tomorrow to see baby Eric and the boys will be there, you can get the job and they start there tour next week. so you would go with them. so what do you say?" I smiled and shook my head 'yes'
*the next day*
Esperanza and I are at her uncles house. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it.
The door opened and there stood Simon cowell. "Uncle Si I've missed you" Esperanza said while hugging him "This is my friend Lacey. She is great with kids and is looking for a job so she came to see if the babysitting job was still opened" He looked at me and replied "yeah it's still opened here meet the boys and lily" I walked into the house and walked into the livingroom. When I got into the livingroom I felt 6 pairs of eyes on me. "h-hi" I said and then sat down on the couch. A little girl walked up to me and smiled. "what's your name? I'm wiwy" I smiled and replied "hello lily I'm Lacey it's very nice to meet you. So how's your day?" she put her finger on her chin and looked up. "It was otay. I went to cheer and then daddy picked me up and took me to the park and for Ice cream. Then we went to uncle leumm's house and I got to see my aunt dani and aunt elounowr and all my uncles. how was your day?" she asked. I copied what she did and the spoke " well I woke up and ate cereal. I went on a run and then came home and got dressed for over 4 hours to come and see you guys. First impressions are hard haha" she smiled and then turned to the boys- which I forgot were in there- and walked over to Niall " Can she be my babysitter daddy?" he looked at her and raised an eyebrow "really. Lil we don't even know if she wants the job." he looked up at me " I actually do I'm out of work and felt like I needed to stop being lazy and find my ass a job. oh umm sorry for my language." he smiled and said "It's okay darling I'm way worse" I smiled and nodded. Esperanza walked into the room with baby Eric. I've seen Eric so many times like when he is over her house and I stay the night but I never knew that was Simon cowell's kid. "Give him to me please. Come on Espy give my Eric I haven't seen him in like 2 weeks I am having Eric withdraw." I held my hands out and she handed me the bundle of joy."Esperanza I've missed you. How's that brother of yours?" liam asked her "I missed you too. I've been staying at my bestie's house cause she is all alone in this world haha. She moved out a month ago and in 2 months I'm moving in with her. My brother is getting married to Lisa from California." They continued on with their conversation and I zoned out and played with baby Eric and little lily.
"do you have a nickname?" lily asked me "yes It's little blue" she started to chuckle and I felt a pair of eyes staring at me . I turned and saw Niall horan looking straight at me. He got up and motioned for me to come too. I handed baby Eric to Espy and left with Niall.
"You umm..... You got the job" he said while scratching the back of his head. "also would it be wrong if I asked you out on a date?" my eyes went wide and my mouth opened a little but then I noticed, a superstar just asked me out. I am for sure going. " I would lov to go on a date with you mister horan"
