''What's his name?'' I ask.

''Harry'' he says

''Oh..'' I got lost in my thoughts while Niall was checking my programme.

''Great! You have free a period too! I guess I'll show you around?'' he looked up waiting for my answer.

''Sure'' I smiled at him.

''Shall we?'' he asked raising his arm for me to link it with mine. I giggled at this.

''We shall'' I said, sending him a genuine smile. For the first time in months I had a genuine smile on my face. Thanks to Niall.

''Here's the chemistry lab..''

''Oooooh''

''Music hall..''

''Aaaaaah''

''What are you doing?'' he asked laughing.

''I'm... oh nothing'' I said smiling. Niall kept laughing. His contagious laugh made me giggle, he was so cute.

''Okay, moving on!'' I said, dragging him with me so we could move on. His laughter died down and he started touring me again.

''This is the Art class.... That's the Physics lab... French class'' he kept pointing and telling me which classroom was which.

''Your locker...'' he trailed off.

''This is my locker?'' I asked him. Niall nodded.

''Where's your locker?'' I asked him.

''Mine is on the other side of the school unfortunately. But Liam's locker is near yours, so don't worry,'' he answered giving me a reassuring smile.

''Who's Liam?''

''I'll introduce you to him on our break.'' he looked at his watch and his eyes widened. ''Which is in 15 minutes! We need to hurry if you want me to show you around.''

I quickly nodded and we started walking faster. As soon as we finished the bell rang, meaning we have a break. Niall asked me to go to the cafeteria and pick a table for us until he comes back from getting his books from his locker for his next period.

I started heading to the cafeteria if I even remember where it is. I had my head down so students here wouldn't recognize me as the new girl and start talking about me, but I failed miserably. I gladly ignored them though. I mean why aren't they minding their own business?

I was snapped out of my thoughts by bumping into someone. I almost fell but they caught my hand tightly and once I regained my balance, I pulled my hand away from their painful grip.

''Watch where you are going, bitch.'' a low voice full of venom spat.

''Watch your mouth, asshole.'' Once I raised my head to see who it was, my breath got caught in my throat. His emerald green eyes staring angrily back at my dark brown ones. Harry.

''Or else what?'' he spat, lowering his head a little so we were face to face. I wasn't short. In fact I was fairly tall for my age, but he was a bit taller.

I gathered all of my strength and courage to slap him right in the face. But his large hand caught my little one in the middle of my brave action. He didn't even blink or break our intense eye contact.

''Let. Go.'' I hissed trying to break free from his grasp.

He stepped closer to me, his grip still tight on my arm. His eyes took in all of my figure standing before him. His eyes then landed to mine and I swear there was a grin forming across his face. I feel like I couldn't breathe, I'm usually so tough with every guy but apparently Harry is an exception.

He took a step closer, our faces almost touching. He bends down to whisper in my ear, his breath falling on my skin making me weak in the knees.

''Quite feisty for the new girl around here, aren't we?''

I scoffed, about to answer back but Niall cut me off.

''Hey Alice!''

Harry quickly let my hand go and I turned to Niall, ignoring the whole Harry situation.
Niall looked disappointed. I was sure he saw me with Harry.

I turned back to Harry but Harry was already gone. I'm glad, but how could he have such an affect on me.

''I thought I told you to stay away from him.'' he said quietly. Sadness evident in his voice.

''I know.. we just bumped into each other by accident, sorry.'' I quickly responded.

He sighed and faked a smile. Oh Niall, I can recognize a fake smile within miles away. I have been faking them for a long, long time.

''Don't worry. I'm fine. He also caught my hand to prevent me from falling.'' I rest my hand on his shoulder slowly massaging him to relax him a bit.

''Okay then. Lets go buy lunch and wait for the others''
We started walking to the lunch lady to choose our food.

''Others? I thought I was going to meet Liam.'' I paid for my lunch and we sat down at a round table.

''Yeah, and Louis and Zayn. You'll love them.'' he grinned.

''Okay then.'' I smiled and we both started eating our lunch.

''Hey there! I'm Liam!''I tuned around and saw a guy with brown hair and eyes. He was gorgeous.

''Hi Liam! Nice to finally meet you I'm Alice!'' I smiled and he returned it.

We shook hands and he sat next to Niall, eating his lunch. Niall asked him were the other two were and Liam said they were on their way. A few minutes later a guy with straight brown hair sticking out in all directions sat beside me.

''Hey there I'm Louis! You must be Alice, the new girl, right?''
His ocean blue eyes were mesmerizing.

I nodded and grinned. I offered my hand for him to shake but he gave me a side hug instead. I'm guessing he is a huger.

Next to him sat, Zayn I suppose. Wow isn't he handsome. His sharp jawline and hair up a in a quiff. His hazel eyes surrounded by a thick layer of eyelashes. I could stare at him all day. Well not anymore since he caught me staring. Smooth Alice. Smooth.

''Hi Alice. I'm Zayn! Such a pleasure to meet you'' he was sitting next to Louis so he stood up a little and offered me his hand for me to shake. I gladly did.

''Likewise'' I said with a smile, never breaking eye contact with him. He sat back down and I turned to see Niall spaced out.

''Niall, what are you thinking?'' I ask curiously. Shaking him a bit because he looked spaced out.

''Hmm? Oh.. Um.. sorry, it's just a bit weird..'' he said.

''What's weird mate?'' Liam asked before I could.

''The fact that Harry didn't let Alice fall. He never helps anyone, but he helped Alice.''

They all turned their heads to look at me.

''What?'' I asked. I don't get it, why are they making a big deal out of it? He was just being nice, or maybe he grabbed my arm just so he wouldn't lose his balance.

''Nothing.'' they replied continuing with their meal.

School ended 5 minutes ago and I was on my way to my car. I saw Harry walking down an unfamiliar road. He didn't seem to notice me. I closed the car door and started walking to him.

''Hey!'' I said half cheery, half normal.

''Whatever..'' he responded, his eyes looking in front of him.

''Where are you going?'' I asked, bumping his arm with mine.

''Why do you care?''

Why is he being so rude?

''Because I do. Now tell me.'' I said with annoyance.

He stopped walking and turned to look at me, his face turning serious. I did the same. If he thinks he is going to scare me away then he should guess again. He sighed slightly and turned to walk again. Me, walking next to him.

''Home.'' he answered.

''Want me to give you a ride? It is a bit cold.. And if it's too far then you should let me dri-''

''Go home Alice.'' he interrupted.

''Rude..'' He chuckled but not a happy or an amused chuckle. Just a plain one. I stopped walking and grabbed his arm to stop him too.

''Are you sure?'' I asked.

''Yes.'' I was staring at him, him doing the same. I sighed in defeat.

''Okay then. Bye Harry.'' I half smiled.

''Whatever..'' and rolled his eyes. He turned around and continued walking.

I got in the drive-way and got out of my car, entering my house. Mom was laying on the couch watching T.V.

''Hey honey!''

''Hey mom.'' I kissed her cheek, grabbed her legs, sat on the couch and placed her legs on my lap.

''So, how was school? Made some new friends?''

''School was fine. Yeah, I met some guys, they're really nice.''

''Guys? Not any girls?''

''No mom. All girls there are dressed like sluts and act like ones too. I don't even want to walk pass them.''

''Okay then... your friends, your choice. Anything else interesting happened?''

''Nope.''

''Okay then. I have to get to work.'' she sighed standing up and going to her room to get dressed.

I lied on the couch thinking of Harry. Well, he isn't like Niall described him. He doesn't look like a troubled guy. I'll just sleep on it. It's been a tiring day. But tomorrow, I'll try to talk to Harry again.
