I'll Be Superhuman

The question just hung in the air. Everyone was waiting for Liliya to respond. Niall was at a loss…he didn't know what to say. He's not mad anymore but he was just…stunned he would ask that. Perrie and Minette were a table away but still heard which left them trying to not gawk at Andrew. The other boys were just waiting for her answer. Harry was curious himself, he heard she was out cold right away so did she feel the pain? Louis was muttering how rude that was to say and Zayn was just gaping at the screen. Everyone was holding their breath for an answer.

Liliya sat there looking at him, at how pained he looked even speaking out it. What to do about this? So Liliya did what she thought was a good idea, she reached over and grabbed Andrew's head and shared the memory of that day and all the pain that followed. Liliya was aware that he yelped and begged her to stop but she didn't, he wanted to know so he was going to get what he wanted. After a few minutes Liliya decided that was enough. "Now you know." He had tears falling down his face, but Liliya didn't care. He had hurt her more than she thought possible. And well she wasn't going to let him get that close again.
"Liliya…I…I suppose we are done here?" She just nodded and stood up.
"Professor will contact you later I assume. Have a nice day Andrew." Then she left him sitting there to recover from her memory share.

Perrie and Minette scuttled out shortly after. When they got to the car, Liliya was already in there, buckled up and ready to go. As soon as they were settled in, Wolverine drove away. Nobody said anything to anyone. It was just silent. So silent if someone dropped a pin you could hear it. Which made Minette uncomfortable, she hated silence. Reminded her too much of the empty house she lived in for 3 days after her mom abandoned her. Perrie didn’t mind the silence as much but there was a question hanging in the air dying to be asked. But she said something else instead, "That went well didn't it?" Everyone in the car looked at her.

Minette smiled at her, thankful someone broke that silence. "Yea I thought so too! I'm glad he cooperated. I wasn't in the mood to kick ass today." Liliya just laughed and went back to looking out the window. Minette knew that she did something back there to Andrew after he asked that god awful question. Then nobody said anything, so silence settled back in. Minette was bouncing her leg, begging Wolverine to drive faster so she could get to the Mansion and escape this deadening silence. Finally after what felt like an eternity in the car they arrive at the Mansion. Everyone, literally everyone was waiting for them. Once Wolverine parked, Minette jumped out and sat down on the steps to control her breathing.

Niall was waiting patiently for Liliya to get out. He saw Minette jump out like the car was on fire. Perrie emerged next and quickly entered into a hushed conversation with Zayn. Then finally Liliya got out and walked right past everyone and into the house. So he followed her in, pulling her into his arms. "I don't care what you did…I'm just glad your safe." Then he saw a familiar golden glow come from Liliya. He smiled and kissed her head. He felt her let out a breath that she was holding in.
"I shared with him…my memory of being shot and all the pain that followed. I showed him what he did to me Niall." Niall sucked in a breath before pulling her in closer.
"Shh its okay…he did technically ask." She let out a nervous laugh. And he knew why…he wasn't sure how Professor Xavier was going to handle what she did. But right now she did a job well done.

Minette was getting coffee with Eleanor at the cafeteria while everyone else headed back into the conference room for Round Two of Magneto's diabolical plan. "So what have you been up to lately El? Sorry I haven't had time to go out…last time didn't end well for me."
"S'alright Minette. And Louis has been keeping me company and up to date on everything. I'm glad that your okay." Minette wasn't shocked to hear that Louis was with Eleanor a lot. More like content with the fact that he has finally let her go.
"Well that explains why he's been MIA sometimes. You like him don't you?!" Minette of course already knew that answer but its polite to ask these kind of things. She's learned that the hard way. People tend to get all weird when you just know things that they haven't shared yet.
"Yea I do…he's just so…lively and funny and cute…" Yep, Eleanor has got it bad. Minette was happy for both of them though.
"So has he asked you to be his girl?! Because if he hasn't I can beat him up for you." Eleanor laughed at Minette, but she was being serious. Louis would be a schmuck for letting Eleanor go.

Louis was in the conference room and kept glancing at the door wondering what in the bloody hell was taking them so long. Harry was next to him, Louis could feel his stare. "What Haz?"
"You really like Eleanor don't you? I've never seen you like this…ever." Louis knew what he meant, he was never this anxious around Minette. He did like Eleanor a lot. Like A LOT. But he was nervous that Eleanor would find it weird to date him after he had his fling with Minette. Which wasn't really even a fling. They kissed maybe like once. Finally Eleanor got back with two cups in her hand. She sat down next to him and kissed him on the cheek. "There ya go Louis." He smiled and put his arm around her shoulder. He noticed Minette watching them, not out of jealousy because she was wearing the happiest grin ever. He smiled back and went back to his drink and Eleanor.

Magneto was beaming with happiness that his plan worked. That redhead was something else. A huge asset to this whole plan. "Okay now that we have an inside man we just have to wait for the perfect time to strike. I'll be in touch with Andrew to figure out a day. I hate this part, the waiting but if we wait for the perfect moment then we won't have to attack multiple times and risk everyone's safety over and over again. Charles said the Avengers are more than willing to help. So we will be in touch with them also." He took a breath and looked around. Everyone was looking at him. They seemed to approve of this plan. Granted it was more of Charles' plan but they seemed to trust him. He smiled, "That's all for now. Um…you can go." Everyone got up and left. Excitement was buzzing around the Mansion. Everyone was prepping for when they attack. The young group of heroes seemed to be ready to go at a moments notice.

Man things are really taking shape huh? Only a few more chapters to go....bum bum buuuum!

I'm all alone right now. My little brother is away at school and my parents are taking my older brother to school. So it's just me and my dog. Living it up by watching Bones reruns...well until next time my lovelies!
