I'll Be Superhuman

Niall was torn away from her body by Harry. "No!! Leave me here Haz! What the hell is your problem?! You still like her don't you?! Fuck off. She's mine okay?" He was fuming at his friend for dragging him away from his Lilly. What if she stops living because he isn't there to hold her little hand? He couldn't stomach that. "Calm your shit Niall. We have an interview. Then we are coming back here. And I love her but not like that. So you need to breathe and use that blonde head of yours." Then Niall watched Harry march off. He felt guilty for yelling at his friend. Niall quickly went back to Liliya. "Baby I have to go but I will be back…stay strong for me okay?" Then he kissed her head and went to meet up with the boys.

Minette didn't get any sleep after seeing the Purifiers plans. She tossed and turned all night. It also didn't help that her best friend was below her possibly on her death bed. All that equaled a night filled of nightmares and laying there staring at her ceiling. She walked out and saw Perrie was in no better condition. They mumbled good mornings to each other and ate quickly. Then they went down and sat by Liliya, praying that she will wake up soon. Professor X contacted her parents and they were going to be coming today to visit. The girls went down and saw that Liliya's parents were already there. "Mr. and Mrs. Rogers…" Minette greeted them. Liliya's mom just ran over and hugged both of them. They all sat around Liliya. The only sound was the hear monitor beeping signaling that the redhead was still hanging on.

Andrew felt like he was going to be sick. He shot her…he shot Liliya. His love…he hasn't moved from his bed leaving his girlfriend worried. Not that he really cared. But he can't get the image out of his head. Her beautiful body slumped over in her friends arms. All the color drained from her face. She looked like an angel even when her life was slowly seeping from her. He felt awful. Her parents were probably over that grieving over her lifeless body. He shot up and threw up. Then crawled back to bed. Maybe she wasn't dead…but not like he really has a chance anymore. He's hurt her one too many times. Jill came in with some soup. "Andy…you have to eat something…come on. What is bothering you honey?"
"I think I killed someone yesterday…" Jill just laughed.
"That's what this is about? The first kill is the worst but it gets better okay? Here have some soup." He watched her walk back out. Andrew couldn't believe she just said that to him. Killing will never be easy…not after this.

Niall was back at the Mansion but they weren't letting him see Liliya. They were saying she wasn't stable enough for visitors. "I can help! She will be better with me there I promise! Please just let me see her." He was pressed against the glass, crying, and watching them revive her for the third time. Jean sighed but opened the door. He ran over to her, grabbing her hands. "Lilly come on baby please stay here. I need you here with me…Minnie needs you. Your parents need you. Don't leave." Her heart steadied but she was still asleep. He was stroking her hair when Harry came in and sat down next to him. "Hey Niall."
"Hey Haz…sorry about earlier. I've been on edge. I just…"

Harry put his hand on Niall's arm and squeezed. "I know. Its hard seeing her like this. She's so full of life." Harry saw tears fall from Niall's eyes. So they just sat there in silence. Hearing the monitor beeping reminding them how Liliya was still holding on. Harry had his hand on hers. Hoping maybe he was helping bring her back to reality, where she was sorely missed.

Liam was with a tired, depressed Minette. "Minnie it's not your fault okay? Please stop crying." He was currently holding her in his arms, trying to soothe her sobs that shook her whole body.
"It is my fault! They had to rescue me! I did this to her…she's on her death bed because of me!" Another round of bawling came. Liam was rocking her back and forth.
"They had to revive her THREE times today Liam! THREE! I did this…" Liam just rubbed her back hoping that she will eventually get tired and get some much needed sleep. They were already on her bed, laying down. Eventually the sobs died down to sniffles then to snores. Liam breathed a sigh of relief. "Goodnight love." He kissed her head then fell asleep himself.

A Few Days Later…

Niall was awoken by someone poking his cheek. "Get off it Haz, 5 more minutes." Then he tried to go back to sleep but a sweet voice he has missed responded instead of Harry.
"Niall wake up…you're drooling all over me!" Niall's head shot straight up. Liliya was sitting up, arms crossed and attempting to hide the smile creeping on her face.
"Lilly! You…god" He crawled on top of her and kissed her. His arms kept him up so he wouldn't hurt her. He remember Jean telling him her wounds would take time to heal. She kissed back smiling slightly. He broke it off to take a breathe. He climbed off the bed much to Liliya's displeasure.
"God I missed you baby. You died…a lot."

Liliya knew she did. She learned a new power during that time. She was able to leave her body…she tested it out a lot to see who was visiting her. It made her smile to see Niall never left her side. All of her friends came to see her. Her parents, even Andrew's parents came with hers once. She always went back to her body when Niall touched her though so she could feel it. "I know…" His eyes narrowed at her.
"What do you mean you know?" Liliya took a deep breath and told him about what she was experimenting with during these past few days. He just gaped at her then shook his head in disapproval.
"Damn it Lilly you had us all scared to death! You shouldn't have done that…I mean you could've--"
"No I couldn't have. My body wouldn't let me wake up. It just wasn't listening. I'm sorry if I scared you guys. Now time to heal myself up so I can get out of here. I hate hospital like things." She focused all of her energy into healing her entire body head to toe. She knew there was gold swirling around her and she could hear Jean's yell in the background.

Minette was jolted awake by Perrie. "She's awake!!! Come on!! Get up sleepyhead!" Minette leaped out of the bed causing Liam to slowly get up. "What is happening babe?"
"Lilly is up! I'm going down." Then she left Liam in her room and ran after Perrie. They both stopped when they say Liliya healing herself and Jean yelling for her to stop. But they both knew that Liliya wasn't aware of her surroundings when she was using her powers. So they just snuck in and told Jean to calm down. "She shouldn't be doing that right now! She just got up! I am supposed to check her vitals!" Perrie and Minette couldn't help but laugh at Jean's reaction.

Finally Liliya was released from the room and Professor came to show her the plan. Liliya just sat there stunned at what they told her. "So they plan on gassing the whole city?! They can't! That’s…I…we have to do something about those sentinels!" Professor couldn't agree more but they don't know where they are stored nor does he know if this is the plan they are going with. Mutants across the globe are getting snatched up and having their powers stripped from them. If they don't act fast…mutants could cease to exist.

Notes

So there aren't too many chapters left of this story....but I am working on them right now to get them all done. Then I will post one of my new stories!! :) How exciting is that! Its been so long since I've written a new one. Anyways Eliza and I are going to a Hunter Hayes concert in TWO DAYS!! I'm so excited. FYI: He's a country singer but he's really good and super cute. So I would totally recommend you listen to some of his stuff. :)
