I'll Be Superhuman

Liliya barely slept at all. Her best friend has been taken, her crush nearly peed his pants when she turned into ice, not to mention she may die today. Niall was next to her sleeping. He didn't take no for an answer last night. It was nice though, he comforted Liliya when she broke down into sobs. She rolled out and went to shower. She thought about yesterday when Niall almost jumped out the window when her powers showed. Liliya really liked Niall but if he can't handle what she is then maybe this is a lost cause. She gets out of the shower and pads over to her room. She gets in and sees Niall looking around frantically for her. He relaxes once he sees her. He hops off the bed and goes over to her. "How are you feeling today?" He caresses her cheek. Liliya just steps away from him. "Fine I guess. Just ready to go. Niall you don't have to be here…I mean I know you're freaked over what happened last night. And I don't expect you to just suddenly be okay with mutants but I can't do this anymore…they way you looked at--"

Niall just crashed his lips onto hers. He didn't want her to continue her sentence. She seemed shocked but quickly wrapped her arms around his neck. His hands were on her waist. Niall pulled back and looked at her. "I just wasn't expecting my girlfriend to turn into ice. I like YOU Lilly. Powers and all." Liliya looked at him confused.
"I'm not your…wait are you asking me out?" Niall just laughed and hugged her.
"More like telling you we are dating now. So that means you have to come back from your mission today." Liliya just snuggled into him and mumbled that she will try. Niall felt sick for pretty much the rest of the time Liliya spent getting ready. He watched as she gracefully went around the room preparing.

Perrie and Zayn were in her room. Zayn has been trying all night to get her not to go on this mission. But how could she not? Minette was her best friend and god knows what those Purifiers could be doing to her. She had to go through with this. "Zayn just drop it okay? I'm going and that’s final. Its not your decision! Its mine and I'm going." Perrie stormed out of her room and saw Niall murmuring into Liliya's ear. Perrie stopped and looked at her close friend. They were both about to risk their lives for their friend. Then it really dawned on Perrie that this might be her last day alive.

Harry, Liam and Louis were waiting in the lobby for the girls. Harry looked around at his familiar school and sighed. So many memories were held here, happy and painful. He looks up to see Niall and Liliya walking over hand in hand. He looked away instantly. Harry knew he didn't have intense feeling for Liliya anymore but it still hurt to see her with one of his best mates. "Curly you came!" He quickly turned around at his nickname, Liliya slammed into him. Winding her arms around his torso. God he forgot how tiny she was, like a delicate flower. "Of course I did Lilly. This is huge…are you sure that--"
"Yes, and everyone can stop asking both Perrie and I. We are going and that's final." She stopping hugging him and was now out of his arms. Harry felt his stomach drop when he realized this might be the last time he would see Liliya.

Professor X came out to see the girls dressed in normal clothes like planned. He went over and the girls departed from their friends to meet him. "I have located Minette, she is in the Headquarters. This will not be an easy task. But I believe that your determination will pay off. Just please be safe. Minette is priority over finding intel. Liliya I expect you to stay in contact with either Jean or I…and try to get to Minette as well." They both just nodded at him then turned around and headed straight out the doors. Making their way to the Headquarters. Professor X really hoped they made it out safely. They were his rising stars, he could see Perrie and Liliya being the new face of the X-Men. Maybe even taking over the institute one day.

Liliya and Perrie walked in silence most of the way. Once they got to the city, Perrie would ask her if she heard anything from Minette. Liliya would just shake her head no. She really hoped that Minette was safe. Every so often they would stop and look around, pretending to by tourists or something. But then they kept on plugging along. Every step got them closer and closer to the Purifiers HQ and to Minette.

Minette slowly opened her eyes and saw nothing but black. She could make out what might be a door. Then her eyes adjusted. She was on a bed in a cell…like a prison. There was even a tiny cliché window on the wall. Minette stood up and tried to use her powers to move the bed. It wouldn't budge. Must be mutant proof she thought. 'Lilly? Lilly if you can hear me…I'm okay…I'm in some cell thing…I don't know really.' She sat back down and waited for and answer of some sort. After what felt like forever waiting for an answer, Minette stood up and walked around trying to come up with another solution. Suddenly the door flew open and there stood Andrew Stark. "What do you want?" Andrew just smiled at her.
"Revenge Minette." Then he put something down on the bed. "Oh and your powers won't work in here." Minette glared at him as he walked away, slamming the door. She was alone and powerless.

Liam was pacing back and forth in the main hall. He couldn't stay in the room listening to the tiny updates from Liliya. They didn't really tell them much. That killed him…he just wanted Minette back here and safe. Eleanor was succeeding in calming down Louis but no one could calm him down. He was on edge. Niall emerged from the room and headed right towards him. "They reached the Headquarters Payno…hey everything will be okay." Liam looked at Niall as he sat down next to him. Niall didn't say anything but just sat there. Silently keeping him company.

Perrie is walking hand in hand with Liliya right now. Why? Because if she doesn't then their cover will be blown. Right now Liliya is making them look like a man and woman innocently walking hand in hand…heading in for work. The front desk person looks at them but looks away. Perrie breathes a sigh of relief. They get to the elevator, they are alone. "Can you find what floor she is on?" Liliya nodded then closed her eyes. They snapped open and Perrie watched them cloud over.
"She is on the 12th floor…in a cell. But they have little windows. So we will have to check all of them." Then her eyes return to normal. Perrie presses floor 12 and they head on up.
"You think she is okay?" Liliya turns and looks at her.
"Yea I don't think they would hurt her." Perrie just nods, hoping that her friend was correct.

Minette had no idea what time it was, or if anyone was coming. And quite frankly she was glad. She could tell Andrew was up to something. Minette didn't like that one bit. But not like there was much she could do. So she just laid on her bed staring at the ceiling, occasionally playing with her blonde curls. Then the window of her door opened. "Minnie?" She shot straight up and ran over. She saw Liliya's green eyes on the other side. "LILLY! You came! Hurry get me out before Andrew comes." The door opened and Minette hugged her friends. Liliya sent off a message saying the rescue was successful, now there was a decision to make. Do they just leave or do they stay and find out what the Purifiers are planning?

Heyyy! wow sorry its been so long on the updates there....I hope y'all aren't mad at me. :( Anyways I hope you like this chapter! Things are really starting to heat up. Sorry its shorter than usual...

I'm back from vacation and I really don't want to go back to work...I just want to go back to school already. Only 1 month and 2 days...I got this.
