Do I Frighten You?

-one week later-

The weekend had flew by quickly and now I had to do some essays at school, This was going to suck. I made my way to my class and people kept looking at my stomach including the teacher that was always ignored me. She wasn't as irritating as she use to be but I still was not a fan of her. I barely had seen my mom, I only seen her when Harry had went to the bank sometime and that is about it. Ethan's dad said that Ethan was in college now and that he is doing well. They said that he is studying to be a male nurse. Who would have guessed. I nodded, I really don't see him as my dad. I see him as a stranger and I really don't care about him, I never known him for these 18 years of my life so why should I care who he is now? I don't want to know who he is either. Whenever I seen my mom she would ask how I am doing and I would say perfect, so she could know that I doing good without her. She didn't even ask how Harry was each was fairly rude. Harry was just as bad as I am in this and she needs to see that because I am tired of her always making him look like a bed people because he isn't a bad person at all.

Niall had got his eating habits back that weekend Harry and I caught him that night looking in the fridge for food and he was eating a lot. I was proud of him he was just so happy that he could be a part of our lives and he isn't taking that thing for what happened between him and Liam at the house a big thing.

Harry's pov

“Hello.” Peter said writing an article about something, what? I do not know and do not care.

I sat down in my chair and looked at him for a long moment and then proceeded to do my work. I had no clue what I was going to be writing about today.

“I haven't seen you in a while, what has been going on with you?” He said looking over at me.

“My girlfriend had a doctors appointment the other day.” I said thinking about what to write. I did have to take her to the hospital the other day. It is just a check up thing to know if she is healthy or not. But gladly she is healthy.

“What's going on with your girlfriend.” He asked curiously.

“5 more months until Baby Styles will be here.” I said with a smile and he gasped.

“That is excellent, congrats.” He said with a bright smile.

“Thanks, Pete.” I said trying to get back to my work.

“Did you hear the news that Jess is back?” He said building up another converstin with me.

“What?” I said snapping my head up and looking at him, she was not suppose to be here anymore. She was suppose to be gone and at home and I don't mean this city, Why is she back.

Jess' pov

I had to come back, I mean, I wanted my life back and me getting mad at my mom was just going to mess up things for me, and so I just left and moved back to my house, I had called my job and said that it was a honest mistake for me quitting and they understood about what I said. I said that I was pregnant and so I wanted to go home for a while and then I lost the baby. So I decided to come back. So now they hired me back on.

Once I walked into the building the familiar smell hit me like a brick. I was so happy to be back here. But I was still devistaed because I know soon as I see Haz he is going to be so mad with me coming back when he had given me money to leave. I sighed and then went to the front desk to see Veronica.

“Hey.” I chirped and hugged her and she smiled when she seen me.

“Hey, Jess.” She said and wrapped her arms around me and then giggled.

“It is so nice to see you again.” I said pulling back from the hug.

“Did you cut your hair?” She told me to noticing my hair cut I had a few weeks ago. “Yeah, I did.”

“Looks nice girl, it is nice to have you back around here.” She said and then checked me in, I nodded my head. “Though, I am sorry for your loss”

“It is okay, I guess it wasn't mean to happen, but I am here to work again.” I said and smiled.

“I will see you later.” She said and waved at me.

“See you.” I said and then walked off and then went to my own personal office and sat down in my seat. It was nice to be around here again, I seen a lot of new faces and the guys kept looking at me. I wonder why.. I sighed and then grabbed something to write about then began to write.

As soon as break came I seen Harry go into the break room, He had on a light blue shirt that was tucked in and he had on some khakis, He looked nice. His hair was slightly pushed out of his face and he had on his glasses, and dress shoes He was feeling up his cup with coffee. I walked up to him with a hint of bravery.

“Good morning.” I said shyly and he turned around and looked down at me.

“Don't good morning me.” He mumbled and then walked past me and sat at a table.

“I am sorry. I couldn't stay.” I said and sitting down at the table with him.

“Yes you could you just chose not to, I had given you money to stay there and then you come back here, and tell me good morning.” He said tilting his head a little. He was speaking to me in a harsh tone.

“Our baby died, Harry.” I said and then began to sob.

He clenched his jaw and tensed up. “No, your baby died.” His words hit me like someone just slapped me across the face, That really hurt me, he didn't want me around and that made me sad, what am I suppose to do. We were suppose to be in love for ever, and now he sits here and hate me. How could he!

He had got up from the table after a short moment and then walked out the break room, with his coffee in his hand. He didn't say anything after that. People had seen me crying, so I quickly had went to the women bathroom and fixed my make up. I just wish he would like me like he use to, There was something about me that he couldn't resist, there was something about me that he wanted to keep around, and hopefully I will find out.

Ethan's pov

I had locked my dorm door behind me and then went to go grab me some lunch at the restaurant up the street. I had reached into my pocket and grabbed my phone and then I seen that I had some messed text messages from Jessica saying

'First day back at work, Not everything is going okay, I should have never came back here, it was not good idea. :('

I scroll up and then seen another one.

'Good morning babe! I hope you have a great day today! X'

I smile at that one, but then I text her concerned about what was going on with her.

'Hey, what is going on? You okay? Want me to stop by when you get off of work?' I asked her, I mean it is the right thing to do, She needed comforting and that is what I was going to do for her.

'You will do that?' She admittedly respond.

'Yes. :)' I said and then made my way to class.

Once class was over I had got into my car and then I was going to Jess' house, she had given me the directions on where she lived and then I went there. She was just so amazing. She lived in a small neighborhood and she had a decent house, it was small.

I had knocked on her door and she answered and invited me inside. She sent me a small smile and then I closed the door behind myself.

“What's up?” I said softly pulling her into a hug.

“Just Harry was so mean to me today, and he said the baby was not his.” She said softly sobbing into my shoulder. That son of a bitch said that to her when he known for a fact that it was his kid.

“I can work things out okay?” I said rubbing her back and being there for her unlike Harry was.

“You can't believe me.” She said shaking her head and pulling back from me looking at me with puffy eyes and a red nose.

“Trust me, I will.” I said before kissing her lips.
