Do I Frighten You?
Chapter 17
Hoping out my car, I ran to her. My arms were around her now and I felt like she really needed me.
"Hey, look at me." I told her looking down at her while she looked at me. Her face made my eyes soften. But I was also upset. "What happened to you, Who did this?"
She looked away from me. I pulled a strand of hair out of her face and had her look at me. Fresh tears had left her eyes and she looked up at me again.
"Marie and -" She spoke softly over her cries.
"And who?" I said crying to calm her down.
Amelia pov
I don't remember his name, I couldn't remember a lot of things right now.
"He had blonde hair." I said wiping my eyes. Harry had looked at me
Harry's jaw had clenched and his hands had became in fist. He was about to say something but then he stopped himself. We stood there for an awkward moment before he gestured me to his car and then he sighed.
I made my way to the passenger side of the car. Once he got in the car and I closed the door and put on my seat belt he sped off. Did a U-Turn and then went to his house.
“Sorry, I didn't clean up.” He said stretching the back of his head.
I seen a lot of bottles of alcohol laying around some shattered around everywhere. He looked at me in worry. He was a messy guy. I have him a small smile.
“Do you think I can shower here?” I said in a soft voice.
“You have before.” He said sending me a smile.
I remember that I did and I felt dumb at the moment, but I followed him to his room and then he handed me some clothes to wear and then I went to his bathroom. He said that he would be here waiting for me to finish.
When I finished showering I stepped out and dried myself and then put on the clothes he gave me, I was wearing a white t shirt and some black boxers of his. Before I stepped out the bathroom, I looked at myself in the mirror, my eye looked bruised and my lip was slit down the left side, and I had a small scratch on my cheek. It still hurt and I did have a minor headache but I think that the pain will last long.
I found myself heading towards Harry's room. He was there sitting on the edge of his bed. He was thinking. I wonder what he was thinking about. Once he heard me his head shot up and he gave me a smile.
“How are you feeling, Love?” He asked as I sat next to him.
“A little tired.” I said as soft as a whisper. He gave me a smile that showed his dimples.
“Get some rest, I am going to go and get you some pain reliever.” He said getting up off the bed and the about a minute later he had came back with a glass of water.
“It looks like either me and you are always in pain when we are over here.” Harry said with a chuckle.
I laughed.
I was in Harrys bed now, him resting beside me holding me. It was complete darkness, Harry must have been sleeping right now. I couldn't sleep because I was still trying to figure out why Marie did that to me and I was really hurt on how she betray me like that. I wonder what I did wrong and why she did that I was confused. I didn't want anything to happen to us as friends. But after she threw that party in my house without my permission that was unnecessary. I didn't like how she did such thing to me and how she betray me with such wrong action.
I closed my eyes and tried to think of something other than what had happened today and nuzzled myself close to Harry and him rapping his arms around me even tighter before I found myself drifting into a sleep.
