Louis

The mist surrounded me, I could hardly see a thing! What on earth was going on?

"Louis, Louis" My name seemed to echo, it was like someone was calling me.

"Louis? Boobear?" I stiffened at the nickname. Only one person ever called me that. But it can't be?

She's dead!

"Honey?"

I turned around slowly, feeling tears in my eyes, I hadn't seen her in 5/4 years. I shivered with happiness but also dread. She couldn't be real? Could she? Tears dripped down my face as I saw her...."Mum?"

My Mother smiled at me but somthing wasn't right, course it's not right Louis! Your mothers dead! She was about to hug me but I quickly steped backwards ignoring the ache in my heart "Y-you're not my mother" I choked out.

She giggled "Of course I am boobear"

"You're dead" I said, my voice high with emotion. As soon as I said this her whole exterior changed "And who's fault is that?" she sneered.

I stepped backwards shocked and hurt "I-I..."

"If it wasn't for you we'd be alive!" As she spoke I watched in horror as her flesh began to decay as I stood there. Some of her bones, including her arms snapped backwards and bent in painful and almost impossible angles. It was like someone invisible had snaped her arms.

Some of her skin and a part of her face was torn of and hung loosely, blood slowly seeped down her face. She looked like when I had last seen her...When I was 10 years old, ripped apart, mauled to death.

My mum stumbled towards me "T-this is y-your fault!!" She gurgled, some blood spat out of her mouth as she spoke.

"We died because of you, protecting you but if you ask me, you wern't worth our lives were you Louis?" A familer male's voice told me. I spun around, my stepdad was there but he to looked like he'd been ripped apart. His insides where hanging out of a bloody whole in his back and his head was at a odd angle as he stared hauntingly at me, like someone had snapped his neck..."Were you Louis?!" He yelled when I didn't answer.

I cringed away from him crying.

"No, no I'm not worth that" I sobbed.

My mother laughed cruely, it didn't sound like her laugh but a deep evil male laugh, by then I knew they wern't real but I couldn't stop myself from reacting.

"Aw look his crying. What kind of leader are you? You are meant to be leading this quest! What have you done so far but mess up? You couldn't even defend your group against those Hellhounds" She looked at one of my shoulders where there was thin slowly healing teeth marks where the Hellhounds had bit into me .

She sneered "You couldn't even defend anyone against those Hellbirds and you lost the map, you're no leader!"

I sniffled "No, no, I-"

"You killed us, he killed us because of you! He wanted to kill you to but we didn't let him! I sure wish we had now!" The illusion of my mother snarled.

"We could of a happy life! A happy long life and what do we get?!" My stepfather growled.

A cold evil voice whispered close to me "Its true isn't it Louis? You were the course of their deaths"

I was on my knees sobbing hard "No...I didn't...I wasn't....It wasn't m-me t-that k-killed y-you" I cried.

"You as good as did" The cold voice hissed near me. I looked around the only people that where here where the illusions of my mother and step dad. The voice seemed to be in the mist? But that was impossible wasn't it?

The Voice murmerd near me "This is what you dream at night when your fears are bright. Nightmares haunt your soul and you will never be free until you accept who you are.."

I asked weakly, feeling emotionally exhausted "Then who am I?"

"You are not a hero. You and your friends are something I've never seen before, something different..."
