I went in the car, in the driver's seat, Grover, Thalia and Piper was behind me.

We needed to destroy the Maenad before it killed any more Demi-gods, we herd that they masqueraded as people close to the Demi-god then once the Demi-god showed potential they killed them, and hypnotised the parents to forget they had child.

"I swear his a menace, his lying! Why would-"

"Thalia, his your brother just accept him! So he beat you in what, like one fight? So what?! Maybe he'd be nicer to you if you stop acting like a bitch to him" I snapped irritable, she had been talking about him ever since they got into the car, it was starting to annoy the hell out of me.

Luckily after my outbursts she shut up.

Piper gave me a disapproving look but Grover grinned happily at me for shutting Thalia up.

I didn't know how strong one of these monster's were but I hoped we could defeat it with out getting any casualty's.

After about half an hour speeding down the road, we arrived.

Piper frowned "But isn't this someone's house?"

Thalia said, shrugging "Maybe it's trying to blend in with it's surroundings?"

Grover nodded his head "This house stinks of monster's"

I told everyone to get ready as we walked towards the door, the house was more like a flat, it had no garden, looked like it was going to fall over any second and was extrreamly messy.

We opened the door and stepped inside, it just looked like an ordinary house to me but Grover looked nervous and his nose was twitching.

Then Grover looked confused suddenly as if he'd smelt something, like an odd smell "This is strange, I've never smelt anything like this before"

Thalia suggested "The monster?"

Grover's shook his head, his face darkening "Not the same, there's something else here Percy"

I backed everyone up, maybe we would have casualty's after all.

Suddenly I herd a gasp from one of the rooms.

I spun around to face a 13 year old boy, he had curly hair and green eye's, he was staring at us his eye's wide with panic and shock.

"That's not possible" He whispered as he stared at us.

Thalia approached him slowly, eye's narrowing.

She asked Grover "Is he...?"

Grover shook his head "Not the monster, but he is the strange smell, he doesn't smell mortal"

I decided to be blunt "Who are you?" I asked the kid.

He looked irritated but still weary "What do you mean? You're in my house! Did Steve call you?"

Piper asked her voice rich using her power's of persuasion "Who's Steve?"

The boys eyes narrowed.

"Why do you want to know that? He snapped.

We all looked shocked, Piper's charm-speak power's from Aphrodite didn't work? He defiantly wasn't mortal.

"If you live here, where are your parents?" I asked.

The boy looked at us seeming to be weighing his option's. Then deciding we were not going to leave in till he told us. He said "Um my mums busy and I never knew my dad"

We all looked at each other all thinking the same thing.

"Do you have ADHD and dyslexia kid?" Thalia asked slowly.

"I'm dyslexic" The boy said grimacing at the word kid.

My mind was working pretty fast, the monster was here but it wasn't him and who was Steve, also where was his mum?

"Could we speak to your mum?" I asked.

The kid suddenly looked tense as I herd someone move behind the door, he moved himself in front of the door like he was guarding it.

"What do you want from her?" he demanded.

I was pretty impressed that he could talk to 19 year olds like this and not back away in fear.

Piper said "We just need to speak to her about-"

"The Maenad?" The boy whispered.

We all stared at him the suspicion rose in the room. I was about to ask how he knew but the boy backed up against the door looking scared and confused.

"It's all t-true. W-what's happening to me?" He groaned his hands running through his hair desperately.

Grover made a weird sound wrinkling his nose at our questioning looks he said "His smell's just gotten stronger suddenly, he does smell slightly like one of us now I guess but there is still something off about his scent"

Piper asked kindly "What's happened to your Mum? Has-Has she forgotten you?"

The boy looked even more paler now, he said weakly "She acts like I don't exist"

Figuring I could ask him how he knew about the Maenad later, I asked something else "Where's Steve?"

The boy shrugged "I don't know, why?"

Instead of answering, Piper asked him warmly "What's your name?"

"Harry" Harry said.

Suddenly Grover's eye's widened.

"His here" Grover hissed.

We all spun around as the door opened and a tall man, who looked as dirty as this house and stank badly, walked in the door.

"Who are you?" The man growled, it sounded a bit like an animal growl.

I think we've found our monster.

I pulled out my pen and clicked it.

Riptide was in my hand straight away taking this as a signal, my friends all gathered around me taking out their weapons to.

I glanced at Harry who looked like he was going to faint.

"This is Steve right?" I asked him.

Harry nodded his head, staring at our weapons in bewilderment.

But he made no move to stop us when Steve made a strangling hiss and his form started to shift then me and my friends charged into battle.
