My Judgement's Clouded

Would you wanna stay?

I was looking out the window as we drove through London to get to Liams apartment, or flat. It has only been twelve hours since I talked to Harry and it has only been one hour since I got signed out of the hospital. This morning me and Liam talked about the best place for me to stay during the rest of my ‘holiday’ and we decided at his place. It wasn’t really a secret anymore that the boys knew me so that meant that we didn’t have to hide. Within two seconds of the ‘hit’ the news was on twitter and facebook. Everyone knew about the baby but no one knew what it had to do with the boys. They kept on guessing and the tried matching me with all of the boys, even Louis. I even found short stories about me on tumblr, which is pretty creepy how fast their fans are.

Anyway, I and Liam were now sitting in the car on our way to his flat. He had sent Paul and Niall to get both mine and Maddies luggage at the hotel. Every time we stopped people would look twice at us, recognizing Liam and then wondering who I was. We hadn’t talked since we left the hospital but it wasn’t uncomfortable at all. I leaned my head back and sighed in content. I was slowly getting really happy, and I know it’s wrong of me. I know I should be happy but I just couldn’t be completely happy right now. I was going to take the days as they come and see what happens. I wasn’t paying attention to what he was doing and almost too soon the car pulled up into a parking lot. They didn’t have driveways because they had a flat in the middle of London, but there was a small parking lot for the attendants.

“You okay?” Liam placed his hand over mine which was on my lap and looked at me with worried eyes.

“Yeah I’m fine.” I smiled at him with as much sincerity as I could and hoped he would buy the package. He nodded and squeezed my hand but I saw that he didn’t believe completely. He hopped out of the car and walked around to the passenger side to open my door. I wasn’t that I waited for him to open it, I just got lost in my own thoughts for a second.

“My lady.” He reached out his hand and I put mine in his. He helped me out of the car, which meant picking me up and practically lifting me out of the car. I still couldn’t move much.

“Thank you, mister!” I laughed a little as he sat me down on the ground and grabbed my hand. He closed the door with the other hand and looked the car. As he put his car keys in his pocket he looked over and smiled at me. He stood there for a few seconds just staring at me. I blushed slightly and looked down at the ground. “What?” I looked up at him with shy eyes as he just smiled even bigger.

“You’re so beautiful, and you don’t even know it.” I playfully slapped his arm with my free hand and laughed while tossing my hair over my shoulder.

“Oh stop it! You’re making me blush.” He smiled and leaned forward. He pressed his lips gently against mine and all I could do was sigh into the kiss. It was just perfect. I felt him smirk and decided I didn’t want to kiss him anymore. As I pulled away he pouted and looked a little hurt. “Oh don’t cry.” I spoke with sarcasm. “Please don’t, it is not manly.” I felt a little mean but when I saw the joy in his eyes I knew he wasn’t hurt. I looked at him deeply and something caught my attention.

I turned my head sideways and found a man standing to my right, Liams left, and he was holding up a camera. I gasped and panicked as I looked at the man with dread in my eyes. Liam noticed my sudden change in emotion and turned to look at the target of my stare. I groaned and pulled me inside. I felt like I was in shock, since I wasn’t used to people taking me picture like that. All the way up to the flat Liam kept on muttering to himself, I couldn’t understand a single word. He dragged me into the elevator and then out of that and into his flat. As soon as he closed the door he turned around asking me if I was alright.

“Are you okay?” I looked at him smiling as I nodded my head. He continued to searching me for faults even though the man never came near us. “I can’t believe they knew we were going to here.” I swatted his hand away and he looked at me in shock.

“I am not hurt Liam so chill.” I smiled at him and then turned to look at his flat. It was pretty spacious and the walls were in a warm greyish colour. To my right there was a kitchen, the most beautiful kitchen I have ever seen. It was like the kitchen from my dreams. It had an island and black cupboards. I walked around with an open mouth as I took it all in. It was so beautiful I couldn’t believe I was here. When I decided to tare myself away from the kitchen I walked into the living room. It was to the left when you got in from the door. There was a big sofa there and a beautiful stone table that probably weighed a ton. I was amazed but the simplicity of it all and still it was gorgeous. He had a big TV in front of the sofa and underneath there was a small bookshelf, that contained DVDs and Blurays. On the wall to my right there was a huge picture of the New York skyline. I gasped and laughed a little at how cool it looked.

I turned around to see Liam staring at me with a huge smile on his face. I laughed and walked over to him, throwing my arms around his neck. His arms automatically went to my waist as I continued to look around the room. I felt him lean in and he spoke softly in my ear.

“You like it?” I blushed as I nodded and brought my lips up to meet his.

“It is absolutely awesome!” I laughed and he joined in. “It is like my dream home, it has everything I want when I move out for real.” He smiled and winked at me.

“Well you haven’t seen the best part yet.” He grabbed my hand and pulled me with him towards the small hallway that was straight ahead, from the door. We walked to the door furthest down the hall and he opened the door. He pointed for me to get in and I noticed that it was his bedroom. I blushed at the thought and looked at Liam with a question in my eyes. He shook his head as if he knew what I meant and pushed me into the room.

I looked around and then noticed the thing he wanted me to notice. The entire wall behind his bed was a huge bookcase. The entire bookcase wasn’t filled but there were a lot of books there. I went over and touched some of them that I could reach. I found so many books that I wanted to read but never got the chance to buy. There were a lot of books I never heard about but the looked interesting. I walked around the bed to get to the other side and looked at all the books for about five minutes before I looked back at Liam.

“Do you like it?” He looked a little afraid I was going to say no so I just sighed and shook my head.

“If I didn’t like it the I wouldn’t have looked at it for that long. Now would I?” He laughed a little and I turned around to stare at the case. I felt arms wrap around me and I sighed in content again. In the case there was enough room so that my books from home could fit, but I wasn’t going to say that out loud. That would be too soon. I closed my eyes just to enjoy the feeling of him holding me. After awhile Liam spoke up but didn’t let me go.

“Are you hungry?” He whispered the words softly into my ear and kissed my cheek lovingly.

“If I say yes will you let me go?” He laughed and kissed my cheek one more time. He then didn’t the one thing I didn’t want him to do. He let his arms fall from around me and he started to walk out of the room. “Liiiiaaam!” I whined like a child as I heard his laughter disappear into the kitchen. I followed him and saw that the door next to Liams bedroom was the bathroom and the door on the opposite side of the room was a guest room. When I walked into the kitchen Liam had already started making dinner, which surprised me a little. I just assumed we were going to order in. He looked up at me as I sat on a barstool that was by the kitchen island.

“You’re not allergic to anything right?” I smiled at him as he looked a little worried, again.

“Nope!” I popped the P and looked down at what he was preparing. “What are we having?” There was chicken, rice and some weird cans.

“I am making a thai inspirited dish for you.” I looked at him with an eyebrow raised as he just chuckled at my reaction. “I am going to fry up some chicken and then ad a curry sauce. And then boil rice to that.” I laughed and then looked down at his hands as he cut up the chicken.

“Sound good. I love chicken.” I smiled and then thought about the curry. “Not to crazy about curry but those are usually good.” When I noticed his hands stop I looked up and saw him stare at me with desperation.

“You’ve had this before?” I nodded and he groaned. “Dammit!” I laughed and got up from my seat.

“It’s fine. My mom saw a thai store in the small town we lived in before and she got inspired.” He sighed and I put my arms around his waist. I put my chin on his shoulder and he looked down at me. I reached up to peck his lips and he looked down at his chicken again.

“I just wanted to impress you with something you never tasted.” I ducked under his arm so I was standing in front of him.

“If I have gotten this right,” I gestured to us both and smiled up at him. “then you will have plenty of nights to cook me something new.” He kissed my lips softly and leaned his forehead against mine.

“I sure hope so.” I smiled and pecked his lips one quick time.

“No make me dinner, mister!” I ducked under his arm once again and walked back to my stool that I sat on earlier.

“Who knew you could be so bossy.” He winked at me, making me blush, but did what I told him.
About half an hour later the dinner was ready. I laid the table as he cooked so when it was all finished we could just sit down and eat. Since I couldn’t drink wine Liam had bought me a non-alcoholic cider that was awesome. While we ate we talked about everything and nothing. I told him about my childhood, which didn’t take very long since I was a coward and had always been one. He told me about his childhood too, he talked about his family which meant a lot to him. I loved the look he got when he talked about them and I hoped he would get that look when he talked about our family. We had been talking for about two hours when he looked at the clock and got a shocked expression.

“Damn, time sure flies when you have fun.” He smiled at me and started to get up. I started to get up to put my plate in the dish but Liam pushed me back down. “No sit. I’ll clear the table.” I watched as he fixed the dishes, putting everything in the dishwasher. I was mesmerized by the way he moved that I didn’t noticed when he stopped and looked at me. Apparently he spoke to me as well but I didn’t hear. He was waving his arm around to get my attention. I blushed since I had been caught staring at him.

“Sorry, what did you say?” I looked at him with apologetic eyes and he sighed with a smile on his face.

“I asked if you wanted desert or if you want to go to bed.” He smiled the sweetest smile ever and walked over to me. I thought about it for a second before looking at the clock on the wall. The time was already 10pm and I was actually getting tired. I turned and smiled at Liam.

“I think sleep sounded good.” I thought about it and realised I didn’t know where I was going to sleep. I looked at my hands that were on the table and asked the most embarrassing question ever. “Ehm, Liam. Where am I going to sleep?” He laughed and uncomfortable laugh.

“I was hoping you would sleep with me?” I looked up at him and blushed. “Oh no! Not sleep with me but you… Share bed… Or if you want to…” I laughed at his awkward ramble. “Ugh! You can sleep in the guestroom if you want to.” He looked defeated and as I stood I felt my heart break. His face wasn’t meant to be in that position. It was meant for smiling and being happy. Not being sad. I went and stood in front of him as he looked at the ground.

“Liam, look at me.” He looked up and had a small smirk on his face. He knew what I was going to say. “You are so sweet to worry about my innocence. But I hate to break it to you. That is long gone.” I pointed to my belly that marked the space between us. “So I will share your bed with you. And even though nothing will happen tonight because I am too tired, I am not saying I will never sleep with you.” I kissed his stunned face and turned around. I walked towards his bedroom and felt him stare after me. Soon I heard him run after me and then felt his arms around my waist. This was going to be wonderful.

And one small side note, I slept like a rock that night.
