Why her?

Hope's POV

I was in 1st period the day after the speeches. I wanted to know if Kandy won, and if Niall won. The teacher told us to read but I could not. Finally the announcements came on the loud speeker. We had to do the pledge of allegence, and listen to the lunch schedule. Until I was shaking with excitement. And finally, "President for next year is, Alex Rilson!" A couple of whoops came from the room next to us, probably Alex's. Kandy looked devistated. "Vice president for next year will be, Niall Horan!" I ran to him and gave him a huge hug. He buried his face in my hair. Gosh, he's excited. He pretty much squeezed the life out of me. If Joy was in this class, she would kill me. I looked to the right of me, and there was Louis, wiping a tear off of Kandy's face. I let go of Niall and ran to her, I didn't even realize my face was hot and red. I hugged Kandy so tight, I could feel her eyes trying to blink away the tears. l wasnt even listening to the rest of the announcements. She wanted this more than anyone. I pretty much just missed the fact that Niall hugged me.
