Stay High (A Niall Horan Fanfic)

I grabbed my bags from the back of my moms red Caravan. I sighed looking at the new house my mom bought here in Mullingar Ireland.

my dad died two years ago and I'm an only child so I just live with my busy mother. I just hope my new school isn't as pathetic like the one I went to before, I was always bullied and I had no friends. I have a family friend named Ashton his parents died and he lives with me. Ashton is really nice and he's renting out the basement of the house.

"Need help?" Ashton asked me as I struggled to grab onto my suitcase.

"no I'm good" I said shyly.

Im a little shy when I'm near Ashton he's always there for me and he wants the best for me, he's like a brother.

"alrighty" he said grabbing his things and walking towards the house. I smiled and followed him in with my things.

I heard my mom shut the van door and her footsteps entered in the house behind us.

"nice" Ashton said putting his bags next to the couch I smiled and sat on the couch, Ashton sat next to me and a sigh escaped his lips.

"What school are we going to?" Ashton asked my mother

"the one five blocks away you guys start tomorrow" my mom said bringing boxes upstairs.

"ugh" Ashton groaned

"why" I said

"school sucks" Ashton said

"I know" I said

"wanna help me bring my things downstairs?" Ashton asked, I nodded and we got up from the couch and grabbed his things and went down into the basement.

"It's so cozy down here" I said handing him one of his t-shirts.

"it's perfect for cuddling" Ashton said winking at me I giggled and we went back up stairs so he can help me put things away.

"Eww Ashton!" I screamed at him, he was playing with my bras and panties

"this one is cute" he said putting a lace bra on his head, I laughed and we finished putting all the things away.

"Dinner!" My mom screamed from downstairs I looked at Ashton and we went downstairs.

Me and Ashton sat at the dinner table and my mom was setting out corn, potatoes, and roast beef.

"Yumm" Ashton said shoving a spoonful of corn in his mouth.

"You kids better get to bed in an hour" my mom said, it's weird how Ashton isn't his mom Ashton was first a family friend then his parents died so my mom agreed to take care of him, and now he's living with us.

After eating my mom cleaned up and I went in Ashton's part of the house which is the basement.

"Wanna play videos games?" Ashton asked I shrugged and I sat on his black leather couch, he set up all the wires and things and he put in a GTA4 disk.

"I don't wanna play, I'll watch" I said as Ashton got his controller

"okay" he said sitting back down next to me I put my head on his shoulder and I watched him playing his video game.
