Q: Who killed her?/Why was she shot?
A: Anyone could have killed Charlie really. I described someone each of us see everyday: a young fan girl obsessed with a boy band. I wanted to show how far some people will go for something so silly. We knew Charlie didn't kill Niall, but to his fans maybe she did. Driving him to the point of suicide -- fans are not very forgiving. Niall chose to kill himself, but from an outside point of view it could have seemed like Charlie had an influence on his decision. So I had a nutso fan kill her. The girl felt like Charlie killed Niall, so she decided to kill Charlie.

Q: What did the boys say when they found out she was shot?
A: I would say the boys were devastated once they heard the news. They just had to bury their best friend, and now they had to deal with the death of Charlie. I assume it was heartbreaking for everyone, but especially Liam. Liam and Charlie had a closer bond than Charlie and the other boys. He took her to the doctor, came and saw her when Niall left her...he was always there for her. Harry would be heartbroken, and maybe start using drugs and have to go back to the center. But I’m sure Liam would be there by his side the entire time, continuing to help so long as he can. Louis may use her death to put even more feelings into his songs, and Zayn probably uses the pain to paint just like he did with Niall’s passing. Charlie wasn’t friends with the boys for that long, but she still had a huge effect on their lives.

Q: Why did you make it seem like they were going to live happily ever after then kill him?
A: Hahaha I was waiting for this. I'm the type of person that when I write something, I want people to feel it. I know people have killed characters in the past, but I wanted this one to count. Just imagine Niall actually being dead; it's unfathomable. The thought of him not being around is heartbreaking and tragic, so if I was going to kill him I wanted it to hurt just like it would in real life. I'm sorry if I was being mean by making it that way, but I wanted each reader to feel how Charlie would have felt.


Q:How's her mom/friends?
A: I can't even imagine how Charlie's mom felt once she found out the news. Her poor daughter had her heart ripped out after losing her child, and now she lost her own baby. Kennedy probably took the news the hardest. She and her sister had such a close bond and they told eachother everything. I can't put into words how that must have felt for her family. It's so sad. Kim and Naomi most likely took it hard. They saw how sad Charlie was after everything, and they know that she died feeling that exact same way. I imagine whenever Naomi hears a One Direction song she thinks of Charlie and Niall and smiles. But, everyone has to move on and be strong, but I feel like they all keep in touch just in case.



No, I am not going to write a sequel to the story (although you can read my other storyLove Don’t Die focused on Harry). There can't really be a sequel...I mean how can One Direction even go on without Niall?
