We were walking down the boardwalk, hand in hand. I leaned against you, watching the sun set in the distance.

"I don't want today to end." I said. He smiled.

"It always ends." Luke said.

He wasn't lying.

Its been three years. Three years since, that day. The day he ruined everything. Ever since, life has not been what I call, easy.

"Hey, Kenz. Where's the flippin' macaroni?" I yelled from the kitchen.

"We're out." She called back. I groaned.

"Where's the wallet?" I called.

"Uh, your room?" I sighed, walking to my room. I threw everything around, trying to find it.

"Not here!" I called. I could hear her shuffling around. She opened my door, throwing the wallet at my bed.

"Found it." She said, smiling. I rolled my eyes.

"Come on. Before we lose the truck." I said. She smiled.

"Shotgun!" She said. I gave her a strange look. "What?" I rolled my eyes.

"Nothing."
