Alayna’s POV:
“Hey guys,
Sorry I had to leave early. I just had emergency errands to run. Do have fun without me and just lock up the cabin when you leave. :) XOXO, Jade”
We all woke up to Liam calling us from downstairs. He was the one who found Jade’s letter. “Alayna, do know that I haven’t given up yet.” Just seconds after reading the letter my phone buzzed; it was Jade. Could she have overheard mine and Harry’s conversation last night?

“Well, do you guys have any plans for the day?” Louis asked all of us and we all shook our heads. Jade planned everything along the way and we were kind of lost without her.

“Well, I did have plans before Jade called up for this camping trip. I guess I’ll just go back to my flat and do that.” Everybody seemed to have agreed on just going on their own ways based on what Liam said.

“Kacey, Alayna, I’m driving up to London. I still have to do something there. I can drive you both to Oxford after that, if you don’t mind.” Niall was our ride going here and I really don’t want to go to London but I really didn’t have any choice.

“Well, I’m driving directly to Oxford and no one’s riding with me so if you two want, you can ride with me.” Harry suddenly talked. “I really don’t mind going to London. I guess I’ll just do some shopping there so I’ll just ride with Niall.” Kacey stood by Niall and they all looked at me, waiting for an answer.

“Uhm, I’m kinda tired.” Kacey’s face grew more excited. I guess she was really happy to have an alone time with Niall. “Okay, so it is settled then. Where’s your bags?” Harry offered with helping with my bags.

“Uhm, I’ll do it myself. I’ll just go and get ready.” After that, everyone went back to their rooms and packed; some took a shower and some just washed their face. “Hey.” I heard Harry knocking on the door.

“I’m almost done.” Harry peaked through the door and entered after he was sure that I was completely dressed. “Can I put them in the car now?” He pointed at the bags that were sitting on top of my bed. “I’ll just do it myself. It’s kinda heavy.” He let out a chuckle and picked it up anyways.

“Hey!” He walked out of the room laughing. “Everybody’s downstairs already. Just come down when you’re done.” I did a last minute check and tidied my bed then quickly ran down the stairs.

“Hey, are you sure you don’t want to come with us?” Kacey asked me but I know what answer she wants to hear. “Actually, thinking about it..” Kacey’s smile turned upside down. “Just kidding. You go without me.” Kacey’s face brightened up and she quickly ran to Niall’s car.

“Everything’s ready. I’m just waiting for you.” Harry held the car door open and I waved one last time to Kacey and Niall. Harry went in the car immediately after I did. We were the last one to leave just right after Liam.

“Are you really that tired?” I was startled by Harry’s voice; he was very quiet for almost an hour. “Uhm, I think I’ll still survive. It’s just that Kacey and Niall…” Harry nodded immediately as if he understood what I was trying to say right away. “Well, I guess we could still make a mini-stop, if you don’t mind.”

Harry’s POV:
“Huh?” She looked at me very confused. I really missed that expression of hers. It was just like the first time I met her. “It’s on the way so I’ll promise it’ll be quick.” She nodded then looked at the window.

“We’re here.” I parked the car and went out to open her door. “Thanks. What are we doing here anyways?” She hopped down and straightened out her clothes.

“I just have to buy some flowers. There’s a great flower shop here and they make the best arrangements.” I noticed she held back her laugh. “I mean, so I’ve heard.” She nodded, still holding back her laugh.

“Let’s rent some bikes.” I pulled her towards a bike rental and I was glad she didn’t protest. “Why do we have to?” I pointed at two bikes and handed some cash to the register. “The flower shop is still three blocks away.”

“Then why don’t we just park near there?” The guy helped us with our bikes and gave Alayna the smaller one. “’Cause, it’s such a nice day and I think we should make the most of it. C’mon.” I hopped on my bike and drove off. “Last one there is a rotten egg.”

“Yeah, right. I won’t let that happen.” She quickly drove past me and I pedaled faster to catch up to her. We finally both stopped in front of the flower shop. “What color do you think is best?” We both parked our bikes and walked up to the lady in the shop. “I really like pink but I think Jade will ---”

“Can I get a bouquet of pink flowers? Any flowers as long as they’re pink.” The lady nodded and went to pick up some flowers. “I don’t think Jade is much of a pink person.” I shrugged as an answer. “Is it okay if I just go look at the shop next door?” I nodded and she went outside.

“Here you go.” The lady gave me a card to write on and did some last minute retouches to the bouquet. “The girl is very lucky to have such a gentleman like you.” The lady smiled as she handed me the flowers. “It’s me who’s lucky” I handed the lady some cash and walked outside.

“Wait, give this to her.” The lady handed me a yellow flower. “What is this?” The lady smiled and continued to urge me to get it. “It’s a primrose. Just give it to her.” I took the flower and went next door. I was baffled by the lady in the flower shop. What does a ‘primrose’ have to do with her?

“Hey, what do you have there?” I saw Alayna trying on a bracelet. “Oh, uhm, it’s a charm bracelet.” She took it off and handed it back to the guy behind the counter. “Where are you going?” She walked outside the store and I followed her.

“Well, you’ve got your flowers. Let’s go.” She went to get her bike and I went back to the store. “Was that your girlfriend? She really liked the bracelet.” The guy took out the bracelet one more time and took out the charms she was looking at.

“A teddy bear, eye of London, moon and a campfire?” I had the little charms in my hand and looked at them with much confusion. “Yeah, odd choices but she seemed very fond of it. I was surprised she didn’t buy it.”
