Aurora's POV
I wake up to see Liam sleeping on my chest. I look at the clock and see that it is around 6 am, I need to get up to go to work. I try to slyly move Liam off of me so I don't wake him. I successfully get off the bed without waking him up. I go over to look to see if Chasity is still sleeping then I go and take a shower. I quickly get ready for work, the clock reads 7. I grab Chasity so I can feed her before I leave, then Chasity starts crying which then makes Liam literally jump out of bed and blindly walk over to her crib, not realizing that I am holding her by the doorway. He goes to pick her up when he realizes that Chasity is no longer in bed. I laugh at the fact that it is now natural for him to go pick her up in the middle of the night. He turns and looks at me, he realizes that I have Chasity and he relaxes.
"Sorry for waking you. I am going to feed Chasity then go to work." I say as I go over to Liam and give him a kiss.
"It's okay, I have to get up anyways." He says and goes into the bathroom to take a shower. I feed Chasity quickly, as I finish Liam comes out of the bedroom with a fresh pair of clothes on. He comes over and grabs Chasity from me so I can go to work. It is amazing how we don't even have to talk to know what the other person needs or is thinking. I go and put my shoes on and grab my jacket and purse. I give Chasity a goodbye kiss on her head and then I proceed to give Liam a kiss.
"Have a good day at work. Love you." Liam says as I open the front door to his flat.
"Love you too. Call me if there is any issues." I say as I leave.
I drive to the coffee shop by my work to grab some to wake me up, I practically live off of coffee lately because I don't get enough sleep anymore. When I am in line I am bored so I start looking at the magazines on the rack. The People magazine catches my eye, on the front cover is a picture of Chasity and Liam with a caption "Liam Payne's Baby Secret". If I wasn't the mother of the baby I would think it was pure fiction. I sigh and pick up the magazine, fully intending on buying it because how often is it that your baby is in a world wide magazine. When I get to the register, I order my coffee then I hand the cashier the magazine so I can buy it.
"You know, I don't think Liam is going to last with this new girl too long." The cashier tells me.
"Why do you say that?" I ask wanting to know what everyone really thinks of us.
"It is obvious that he is only with her because of the baby. If there was no baby he probably would leave."
"You're probably right." I say and grab my coffee and leave. I walk to the office building and I start to go through security when I see Luke come into the building.
"Hey Sunshine! I see that you saw the magazine." He tells me.
"Yep."
"So are you freaking out?" He asks me.
"Why would I freak out? I knew about the article, hell I was there." I say to him obviously confused.
"I am guessing you didn't read the article did you?"
"No not yet I haven't had time." I say as we enter the elevator to go up to our desks.
"It is a good article until you get to the writers opinion at the end." He tells me. I quickly open up the magazine to look for the article. We have a spread of four pages, full of pictures and the article. I quickly scan to the end.
'This couple seems as cute as you can get. Liam is head over heels in love with her, too bad that she doesn't love him back. Observing them through out this experience, I saw that she was very distant and was bored the entire time. So it is obvious that Liam is too blinded by the baby to see that she is only with him out of necessity. And seriously Liam, going from Sophia Smith, who has the look and fashion sense of a model, to this train wreck? I predict this couple wont last more than a couple years, and it will end just as silently as they started.' I just gape at the article, I didn't even notice that we have reached our floor until Luke was pushing me out of the elevator.
"Why... Why... Why would she say that?" I ask Luke.
"Well do you love him? Or are you doing this just because it is what is best for Chasity?"
"I am in love with him. No questions asked. And I am I really a train wreck?" I say.
"No, they are just used to everyone always wearing designer and you just wear whatever you like. Why do you love him though?"
"There has to be a reason?"
"I think that you just think you love him. That you have had a crush on him for as long as you remember and that you think you should be in love with him." I just look astonished that Luke would say something like that.
"I am probably not an expert on love because I have only thought that I love one person my entire life, but I think I am in love because when I am not with him I think about him constantly, and when I see other guys I long it to be him that I am looking at, when I hear the phone ring my stomach twitches because I hope that it is going to be him calling, even when we weren't on talking terms. But that main reason I think that I am in love with him is the fact that I feel like a shell when I am with anyone other than him. So if that isn't love then I don't know what is." When I finish my spiel I just make it to my desk and I notice that all work has stopped and everyone is looking at me... Great. I just made a fool of myself. I look down at my desk and just start to work. Luke too shocked to speak goes to his desk which is right across from me. I have been working for about an hour when my cell phone rings.
"Hello?"
"Hey babe." Liam says into the phone.
"Hi honey! What's up? Is Chasity alright?"
"Yea she's fine. So I have to go into the studio for a little bit, but since all the boys are going to be there, and since they really want to see Chasity I thought that it would be okay to bring her with me."
"Yea that's fine. I will just swing by the studio when I am done with work to pick her up."
"Okay sounds good. Bye I love you!"
"I love you too." I say and hang up the phone. Luke gives me the 'seriously' look.
"What?" I ask him
"Nothing, I think it is strange that he has to ask you for permission to take Chasity out of the house, is all."
"I just don't like press, and for good reason too." I say as I hold up the magazine.
"Good point!" He says and goes back to work.
I work for another couple hours then I get to leave. I love my job but sometimes I really miss Chasity. I head to my car and drive to the studio. I park and walk towards the building, then I get mobbed.
Girls are screaming "How don't you love him?", "He deserves way better than you", "I bet the baby isn't even his", "You are ruining his life" and the worst comment of them all was "How can you live with yourself, you attention whore!" I successfully got to the doors but security wouldn't let me in, so I was stuck smashed up against the door with a bunch of angry girls trying to kill me. I decide to try and call Liam. I successfully dial his number and listen to it ring. There wasn't any answer, probably because he is in the studio and you have to put your phones on silent. I text him to tell him that I am waiting for him to come let me in. I am really frustrated, I wish that security would just let me in, I mean how could they not recognize me, I am all over the place now. I knock on the door again to gain the attention of security to let me in but they just shake their heads. I see Liam come out of the elevator with Chasity and the rest of the boys I wave at them. All of a sudden a bunch of girls scream and run away. Then I hear someone yell at me. So I turn around
"Hey heartless bitch!" I look and see a teenager with a gun. I just look shocked, first at where the hell does a teenager get a gun and the fact that she is pointing it right at me. "He deserves someone who will love him, someone like me."
"Problem is, he is in love with me." Then she pulls the trigger, I try to move away but the bullet hits me right in the stomach. I fall to the ground. The gun shot alerted security to come out, they tackled her to the ground. Someone called 911. I see Liam run to me after handing the baby to Zayn who obviously doesn't look like he knows how to hold a baby. Liam tries to hold all of the blood in by applying pressure to my abdomen.
"Auri. Baby, don't leave me, please I need you." I see Liam start to cry the tears are falling on my face.
"I love you." I struggle to say then I black out.
