Life Goes On
Aurora's POV
I am sitting on the couch trying to get Chasity to sleep. I am home alone because Rose and Harry have date night tonight. She kept crying and wouldn't stop.
"Come on Chasity" I beg and rock her. "I have to get some paperwork done."
I hear the door unlock and open. It is a little early for Rose to be home, and she said that she will probably spend the night at Harry's place. I get up to see who it is because I am worried. I see Liam hanging up his coat on the rack.
"Liam? How did you get in here?" I ask him as he leans down and gives me a kiss.
"I took Niall's key. Shhh don't tell him." He says. "I missed you."
"I missed you too. So what did you do today?" I ask him.
"The usual sleep until noon then I went to the studio to help write some songs for the new album. What did you do today?"
"I was going to try to get some paperwork done, but Chasity has been a handful today. She has been up since 5 and she hasn't napped for more than ten minutes at a time all day." I say as I start swaying back and forth trying to get Chasity to calm down.
"Was Rose busy all day?"
"Yea, she has been out almost all day."
"Do you want me to watch Chasity for a little bit while you go work?" He asks me as he reaches for the baby.
"You can take her but I don't think I will be able to work because I am so exhausted." I say and give him Chasity.
"Go rest then. I will get her to bed don't worry." Liam says as he gives me a kiss on my cheek and I go upstairs and lay on my bed. I am out in an instant.
I wake up 2 hours later with a start because I forgot that Liam was here watching Chasity. I get up to go check to make sure that Liam can actually watch her. I get downstairs to see that Chasity is asleep in Liam's arms.
"How long has she been asleep?" I ask him, he turns startled.
"She has been out about as long as you have. I didn't know how to put her in her crib without waking her so I just decided to hold her."
"Well I can take her to her crib now if you want." I tell him.
"No, I want to hold her longer. She is just so peaceful and so perfect I can't give her up."
"Yea but she is a handful. I should know, Rose is always busy lately, she can never help me." I say as I sit down next to Liam.
"I can help out. I mean I want to be a father to her."
"It would be kind of difficult for you to just come over here all the time just because I need a little break." I tell him as I lay on his shoulder and he wraps his free arm around me.
"That wasn't exactly what I meant. What if you move in with me?" He asks skeptically. I turn to look at him surprised.
"Liam, we literally started dating again a week ago. Isn't it kind of fast for me to move in with you?"
"Well I thought it would be easier for me to help out, so you don't have to do this all on your own."
He has a point, it would make it a lot easier on me too. I could actually take a couple hours to do some paperwork while he keeps an eye on Chasity.
"Okay, but how about we stay over only temporarily." I propose because I still think that since we have only started dating we should wait to move in together.
"Define temporarily."
"How about I stay over Monday through Thursday, so you can help me with Chasity and we can get used to living together, because we both know that we are going to have to eventually live together and then you can use the weekends to relax a little bit."
"What if I want you to live with me all the time?" Liam asks.
"How about you come here on the weekend then? Share the time between the two places, because we both know that your flat is not baby friendly."
"My flat is plenty baby friendly, what is she going to do get into the locked bar?" He asks me. Wow he is really oblivious to how babies behave.
"Liam, your place is a bachelor pad. What will happen when she starts crawling? She could hit her head on your glass coffee table, or she could spill all over your white rug or break something valuable."
"I didn't think of that."
"Of course you didn't" I say and laugh at him.
"Then let's find our own place, somewhere that we both want to live." He suggests, which is a very good option.
"Okay, but until then I think our plan would work out the best." I say.
"Yea, I agree. When are you done with maternity leave?" He asks.
"In a little over a week. I am going to work part time now though so I start around 8 and I will be done around noon. Then I could work on paperwork at home."
"I don't think you should work anymore. It is really dangerous."
"You don't even know what I do."
"Well all I know is that you came to my flat all wounded after working so I can safely say that it appears to be dangerous."
"I need to keep some sanity, so I want to work. I can't just waste the day away I need to be doing something."
"You have Chasity to watch now, and you could come on tour with us if you wanted."
"That only takes up so much time, I like my job. I promise to try and not go into dangerous situations when I can. Okay?"
"Fine, but don't think we are done talking about this."
"Okay, whatever you say." I say and we drop the conversation. "Do you want to stay the night?" I ask him after we have been quiet for about 5 minutes.
"Sure. Can it be like the sleepovers we used to have?" He asks.
"I don't know, I mean I don't know if I can handle waking up to a puddle of drool on my chest." I tease.
"I do not drool!" He retorts.
"It's okay, I think it's cute and something that makes you, you." I say and kiss his cheek. "What movie do you want to watch tonight then?" I ask.
"How about...Mr. and Mrs. Smith? I haven't seen that in forever." He says.
"Okay, you put the movie in. I will go put Chasity in her crib." I stand up so I can grab Chasity from Liam.
I go upstairs and lay her in her crib and go back downstairs to find Liam just putting the movie into the DVD player. I go and sit on the couch and wait for him to sit down. I snuggle into his shoulder as his arm is draped around me. The movie starts and about half way through I fall asleep, later to be awoken by Liam picking me up to carry me upstairs. I look up at his face and smile as I wrap my arms around his neck.
"Sorry I woke you." He says softly.
"It's okay."
He lays me down on the bed and then climbs in behind me and encircles me in his arms as we fall asleep.
Rose's POV
Harry came over really early this morning and surprised me for some reason. Not that I didn't mind but I see him all the time. Being one of the boys' personal trainers I see them practically every day. But he said that he had the whole day planned since we had a day off today. I felt really bad leaving Aurora alone since I knew that she needed someone to watch the little runt. But Aurora insisted that I go. Something is up and I hate not knowing. He has had this huge grin on his face the whole car ride. I have no idea where we are going. "Harryy…where are we going?!"
"You will just have to wait and see Rosie." I just huff and go back to looking out the window. I suddenly I recognize where we are going. We were going on that yacht thing that we went on for New Year's. Why are we going there? I look over at Harry again and he is still somewhat smiling. What is his deal? This was seriously starting to annoy me. We spent most of the morning looking for a new apartment for Harry which he doesn't even need. He kept on asking if I liked it. I have no idea why he would care what I thought. I mean its his place. But holy cow the places he was looking at were huge. Like practically houses! I'm talking like 4-5 bedrooms. He stops and gets out really fast. Then he comes to my side and opens up my door for me. That's what I love about him. He's such a gentleman all the time. And his accent makes my knees weak. Plus he has green eyes that I just get lost in sometimes. I just love him. He takes my hand and we walk to the docks. He pulls me into him. Thank god I wore heels today otherwise I would be shorter than shoulder level. I snuggle into him because it’s a brisk afternoon here in London. We get inside the yacht and I see that it was all set up. Roses were on the table and it was dimly lit. "Harry did you do all this?" He just smiles and kisses the top of head. He whispers in my ear. "Just for you. Do you like it?" I can't help but smile and nod my head. It really was beautiful…there were strings of lights draped around the room. We head over to the only table in the room. Harry pulls out my chair for me and then sits across from me. He seems really nervous now all of a sudden. I can tell because he is biting his lip which he only does when he is either nervous or thinking really hard. He keeps on glancing at the door waiting for someone. "Harry is something wrong?"
"Huh no…everything is perfect babe." I look at him then someone comes in with a guitar. Why…what is going on. Harry stands up and turns me so I am facing him and not the table. He just smiles at me then the dude starts to play his guitar and Harry starts to sing. What is he doing?!
Am I asleep, am I awake, or somewhere in between?

I am bawling my eyes out when he finishes. He comes over and gets down one knee while laughing at me a little bit. He pulls out this box and it opens to reveal this ring. "Rose Marie Link will you…will you marry me?" I can only nod my head because I am still crying. I'm marrying Harry. I am marrying the love of my life. He slides it on my finger and kisses me gently. "I love you so much Rose."
"I love you too Harry." Then suddenly it all clicks. The apartments we were looking at…he is buying a new one for us to live in after the wedding. Our food comes and I honestly could not be happier. Who would've thought I would be getting married before Aurora…and let alone to Harry Styles.
