One Direction at Camp

As I walked onto the stage which had a simple bedroom scene set up, I gained lots of claps and whistles, “ok, ok everyone settle down! As I have said before sex scenes are notoriously difficult even for the most experienced actor or actress, I know you have all been requesting that I show you one of these scenes and to be honest I have been putting it off for a while. Even though I have done a few sex scenes before I still find them really awkward, especially in front of such a large audience, I would say if you are ever approached to act in one of these type scenes you need to understand what the director expects of you, but you also need to make clear you boundaries…what might one of those boundaries be?” I asked, several peoples hand shot up, “if you felt comfortable going topless, or naked, and how much physical touch you are comfortable with” a second year councillor said “yes exactly, some directors will plan a scene depending on your boundaries, however some will expect the scene to go a certain way. You need to understand that you are creating a tasteful scene that is supposed to portray an illusion of sex, you are not actually participating in porn, the scene is designed to enhance the storyline. The scene that both myself and Jake are about to perform was written by a very talented third year screen writer here at camp, make notes, and we will answer any questions after the scene.” The lights in the cabin went down and the lights on set were turned on, the lighting makes this performance easier because it feels like it is just me and Jake, like when we rehearse.
