When In Cancun

We finished eating and the waiter brought over the bill. I took out my room card so I could pay but was stopped by Niall.
"What do you think you're doing?" he asked, a little offended.
"Paying," I answered simply and defensively.
"No way, it's my treat." He refused.
"Besides I lost the bet I should have to pay," he said smiling and lightening the mood.
"Fine," was all I could say but I still felt uncomfortable with him paying for me.

After he walked me back to my room so I could begin to get ready for tonight. Most people from the hotel were going to a huge club called "The City." I went the last time I was here and it was the best night of my life. I wasn't sure if Niall was going but I hoped I would see him later. Although the place was so big, odds are I wouldn't run into him.

We reached my door and as if he read my mind he asked, "Are you going to The City tonight?"
"Yes! I can't wait its my favorite place," I said.
"Great! Me and the boys are going too, I'll be looking for you."
"It's so big we probably won't see each other." I said sadly.
"I'll find you." He said confidently, winked at me, then walked away.

I ran into my room, and hopped on my bed and jumped up and down like a dork. I was so happy! Kalie, Tara and Andie all ran into the room when they heard me. I heard Jen in the shower.

"Oh My God!" Kalie screamed. "I cant believe you were just with Niall Horan!"
"I know, he's so sweet and funny. But I really don't think he likes me as more than a friend." I said disappointedly.
"Bull Shit!" Said Tara, "Would you look at you, he couldn't keep his eyes off of you!"
"Great, thanks I'm glad to know he likes me for me and not my boobs!" I said annoyed.
"C'mon Em, you know thats not true, you're amazing." Andie said. "I really think he could notice that." I could always count on Andie to make me feel better and not act sexual like my other friends.
"We'll see, he said he's going to look for me tonight."
"You have to look hot then!" Tara said, I was glad she wasn't angry about my snap at her.
"I need all of your help!" I said.

I took a quick shower, and rapped a towel around myself. I blew out my hair. I like when my hair has beach waves and a little volume, rather than just straightened. I made sure it looked the way I wanted, and then Kalie came in and did my make up. She gave me a natural look how I like it, but added more eye shadow than usual giving a smokey affect.

I went through all of my friends dresses, I must have tried on at least 15. We all agreed on Tara's tight fitting black dress. It wasn't too short for one of her dresses but still short enough. It was also low cut, a little passed my normal acceptance range but I'm on vacation so what the hell. I put on my black wedges and looked in the mirror. For the first time since prom I actually thought I looked good. Tonight was going to be fun. All my friends applauded and whistled when they saw me and I did a joking sexual dance. They all wore dresses and heels as well.

We made our way to the lobby, and got in a giant van taxi with a group of guys. They were all really good looking but I really wanted to be with Niall. They were all from UCLA in California.
The hottest one named Steven was sitting next to me.
"I'm Steven," he said.
"Emma."
"Nice to meet you Emma," this reminded me of a similar conversation I had earlier today.
When I didn't answer he replied in his best girly voice as if to immitate me "Oh you too Steven!"
I couldn't help but laugh at that, "Oh you too Steven!" I said repeating him.

We walked to the bouncer and got bracelets. It was open bar, so we didn't need to pay for any drinks.When we walked in I couldn't help but smile at the familiar scene before me. There are three levels to the whole place. Two smaller bars on the sides when you first walk in, then a main bar all the way in the back. In the middle is a sea of people dancing. We walked over to the first bar on our right. I noticed Steven was staying by me. All of his friends talking with one of mine. We ordered 3 rounds of shots. I took mine immediately not even waiting for everyone else to count off.

"Woah, someones eager!" Steven pointed out.
"I'm just more fun drunk," I shrugged.
"Well I'm looking forward to meeting that side of you." He said seductively and I kind of liked it but for some reason I felt guilty about Niall. Don't be stupid Em, I thought to myself. Niall Horan doesn't like you.

I ordered two vodka cranberries and began chugging the first. I started to feel tipsy, and felt two hands on my hips. I looked over my shoulder to see Steven.

"Do you want to dance?" he asked. I just nodded and he led me through the sea of people, and I brought my drink with me. He stopped and began grinding with me. I was getting drunk, and it was actually kind of fun. I tried out some of the moves I've used before when dancing with guys. I began to feel something hard by my lower back. Steven turned me around so I could face him. He really was hot. Light brown hair and green eyes. He also had the perfect muscles that showed out of his tank top. The next thing I knew he grabbed the back of my neck and started to lean in to kiss me.

"I have to pee!" I said, before he could do anything and ran away through the people. I hoped he wouldn't follow me. I chugged the rest of my drink. And went to the bathroom. After I walked over to the main bar in the back of the club. Above it was a stage and a DJ, this place really was so cool.

"I'll have a vodka cranberry please!" I told the bar tender.
"Make that two! I heard Tara say behind me.
"And 4 Kamikaze shots!" I added.
"Yes! I love this Emma!" Tara said excitedly.
"So what happened with you and dreamy green eyes?!" She asked me sexually.
"Nothing, I ran before he started sucking my face off."
"What the fuck Em!? Why? I would have taken him instead of his annoying friend who cant dance!" she complained.
"Take him, he's all yours." I said.

We took both our shots quickly because they tasted so good. Then grabbed our drinks and cheered. Jen ran over to us dancing and shouting and holding two drinks in her hand. Before I knew it all of the alcohol began to hit me and I was so drunk and just wanted to dance. I hopped up onto the bar and started dancing and right after Tara and Jen followed me up. The guys below were going nuts. I didn't care, for once I enjoyed the attention.
