Just Another Fairy Tale

*Amanda's POV*


I was sitting in my dorm room alone. Waiting for Eleanor, Perrie and Tiffany to come back from class. I'm currently sitting on my bed, listening to Little Things with a book in my hand. 'How To Kill A Mockingbird.' and I absolutely love this book. Niall called a couple day ago after my appointment and I told him how things were going with the baby. Just then, the door swings open and the girls walk in.

"Hey there Ams." Eleanor says.

"Heey." Perrie says.

"Sup idiot." Tiffany says. I turn off my music and put down my book.

"Sup." I say.

"We were invited out with a group of guys. Just friend. Wanna come?" Eleanor asks.

"Sure. I wanna wear a crop top, do you think my bump is too big?" I ask.

"Not yet. You can still wear a crop top." Tiffany says. I nod.

"What time do they want us?" I ask.

"In an hour. Did you shower?" Perrie asks.

"This morning, yeah." I say. They all nod.

"Just change then." Eleanor says. I nod again. I look around and shuffle through my drawers of clothing, I then see my favourite black crop top and my super cute galaxy skirt. I walk over to my bed. I slip off my 'Teenage Dirtbag' shirt and put on my black crop top. Then I slip off my grey sweats and slip on my galaxy skirt. I look down, my belly button showing. I let my hair out of my messy bun, letting it flow down. My curls sprawling all over my shoulders and back.

"Wow, will such little effort, you look amazing." Perrie says. The other 2 girls look over at me. I smile. I find my favourite perfume and spray myself twice with it. I walk over to the mirror, looking at myself with satisfaction.

"What are their names?" I ask as we walk through the school main hallway.

"Jacob, Kyle, David and Mathew." Eleanor says.

"Here they are." Perrie says. We stop walking. I see 4 guys walk up to us. 1 of them with brown hair and hazel eyes. Another with brown hair and blue eyes. The other with brown hair and grey eyes. And the last one is with black hair and black eyes.

"Hey, you all look gorgeous!" The one with blue eyes compliments.

"I'm Kyle, you're Amanda, correct? 1st year of university. This is my 2nd year." The one with blue eyes introduces.

"I'm Jacob." The one with grey eyes introduces.

"Hey gorgeous, I'm David." The one with hazel eyes introduces. I look over at the last guy who hasn't introduced himself. Black hair and black eyes. Mathew it must be.

"He was shy around me, too." Tiffany nudges me. I nod. We all walk out of the school and to a van. the kind with 7 seats. 3 at the back, 2 in the middle and 2 in the front. Kyle drives with Perrie beside him. in the middle is Eleanor and David. Then Tiffany and Jacob sit beside each other. Mathew sits and there's no seat for me.

"Sit on Mathew's lap. He won't mind." Kyle says. I sigh and sit on his lap. Mathew places the seatbelt over both of us and keeps his hands off me. We drive around for about 30 minutes untiil we reach a park. We all get out one at a time. Kyle walks with Perrie. Eleanor walks with David. Tiffany walks with Jacob and I walk alone and so does Mathew. I sigh and run up beside him.

"Are you shy to talk to me?" I ask. He looks away, then nods yes.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because. You're so beautiful. You're so kind and smart and everything a guy would want in a girl. But you're taken. And it's wrong to take someone else's girl. " He sighs.

"That doesn't mean we can't be friends." I shrug. He sighs.

"I feel like if we become friends we'll become closer and eventually I will fall deeper in love with you." Mathew says and walks ahead of me. I stay behind the group. Alone and admiring the sunset. I stand alone while the others sit at a bench, talking and laughing.

"Amanda!" someone calls. I turn around and see everyone calling for me to come over, but I say no. I turn back and look at the sunset.

"I'm gonna take a walk." I yell over to the others. They all nod and I walk in the opposite direction. I walk in silence until I feel someone else's presence.

"You okay?" I hear Mathew ask.

"Just missing someone." I mutter.

"I thought about what you said. I'd love to be friends with you, but it will be hard not falling deeper in love with you." Mathew says. I sigh and stop walking, so does he. I look around and see we're far away from the group.

"We should, um, go back." I say and turn around but Mathew grabs my hand and pulls me to him. Close. Very close. He's the same height as Niall. Maybe a bit taller. I look up and gulp. He bends down and connects our lips. He kisses me and I haven't kissed anyone in such a long time. I miss Niall's lips and I imagine Mathew is Niall. The way he holds me is the same way Niall would hold me and I begin believing it's actually Niall. So I kiss back.

I wrap my arms around his neck, pulling myself closer. His hands move to my waist forcing our bodies closer even though we're as close as we can get. I lick his lips and he parts them, allowing an entrance. I slip my tongue into his mouth and explore every inch of his mouth. I let out a soft moan. I was about to move down and kiss his jaw when I realize we were in public. I was about to tell him we need to stop and I was going to call him Niall. That's when I realize I wasn't kissing Niall and immediately, I pull way.

"Um.. forget that happened." I stutter and turn.

"Tell no one this happened." I say harshly and run.

"Amanda!" Mathew calls my name. I see the group and they yell, asking me where Mathew was. I ignore them and turn, running out of the park and heading for campus.

I run into my dorm room, closing the door behind me and locking it. I sigh and lean against a wall and sliding down until I was sitting. My knee's pulled up to my chest. I sigh. I feel my phone vibrate in the pocket of my skirt. I pull it out and see Niall's caller ID.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Hey baby, I need to tell you something.." Niall mutters.

"Same." I say.

"But you go first." I say.

"Alright.. Louis wants to break up with Eleanor. He's so in love with his new girlfriend, Haylie. Please help Eleanor if she needs it." He says with worry in his tone. I nod.

"Alright baby. I need to tell you something too, don't be mad, okay?" I ask.

"Sure." He says.

"I kiss someone today. Actually it was kinda a make out but baby, I only did it cause he held me the way you do and kissed my the way you did. I started imagining it was you, then believed it. I kiss back but when I realized it wasn't you I pulled away. I swear to god I only did it cause I though he was you and I miss you to death." I say, hoping he isn't mad.

"I appreciate you telling me the truth . I'm not mad, baby." He says. I nod, thankful.

"And we're almost done recording the Take Me Home album!" He says, excited. I smile to myself.

"That's amazing!" I say.

"Yeah. I hope things are going well back home. I gotta go, baby." He says.

"Alright. Bye, I love you." I say.

"I love you more. Bye." He says. Ending the call. I stand up and change into my teenage dirtbag shirt and grey sweat pants. I remove my bra then slip into bed. I close my eyes, peace taking over my tired body.
