Just Another Fairy Tale

*Amanda's POV | A month later*


We're all back in school now, summer is now over. Boo. I'm now in university and so are the rest of them. Coincidence it's the same university. Not worried at all. I haven't heard from Niall in so long. I'm actually very happy living the single life. I don't plan on forgiving Niall anytime soon and I can tell he's not planning on apologizing. Whale.. anyways. Harry and Tiffany offered to move in and all the lads help paid for the damaged in my house. My parents got real mad but once I said what happened they loosened up and paid mostly for the damages and repairs. They still don't live with me, but I'm fine with that.

Anyways. I hop out of bed. I find it so big now. But that's only cause there is no one on the other side. I feel very lonely at night and yes, I still do cry myself to sleep. All the time I wish Niall was back but I don't regret anything... okay I regret flipping that kitchen table and throwing a knife to the wall but that's it! I mean all I wanted was for him to bring his glasses- glasses. I walk over to Niall's drawer in the bathroom. I forgot he didn't clean that out. Blades- good. So he's not able to cut. I find his glasses and his 'Horan 93' sweater that I absolutely love. I gather up his things and place it on my unmade bed. I then quickly get into the shower


*University Of London*

I walk into school with the rest on my friends. Harry, Louis, Liam, Zayn, Tiffany, Eleanor and Perrie. Crystal, Layla and Haylie didn't make it into University of London. So they went to a simple collage around the neighborhood. This school has high expectations. I look down at Niall's stuff I was holding.

"Hey, Amanda's whatcha' got there?" Eleanor asks.

"Just Niall's things.." I mumble.

"You're giving back the promise ring!?" Eleanor gasps which causes the rest of the group to stare.

"I-I- yes." I say.

"You can't do that! Amanda-" Eleanor starts but I cut her off.

"He doesn't love me anymore what's the point of keeping the rings!?" I say, almost a yell.


*Niall's POV*


"He doesn't love me anymore what's the point of keeping the rings!?" I hear Amanda's voice. I turn to the direction of the sound. Of course she got in. She's real smart. She's also the dorm beside mine. I look at the list. Amanda is rooming with Tiffany. Coincidence. Perrie and El, Zayn and Harry, Liam and Josh and I'm roomed with Louis. I then see the already popular clique push by. Amanda turns to tell Tiffany she's rooming with her, then her eye land on me. She slowly and awkwardly makes her way to me.

"Here." She holds out her hands which was filled with my things. Including the rings. I look at my finger. I took of the ring one night before we went in for a shower and I guess I forgot to put mine back on. I took everything, except her ring.

"Niall, take it." She demands. I nod my head.

"No. I gave it to you, it's yours."

"Niall we don't love each other anymore." She says very sternly. My heart shatters. I really messed up.

"I-"

"Don't say sorry. Don't talk to me. Don't think that we'll ever get back together because we wont. It's over. You had your chance. Maybe you did just use me. Even if this relationship was real or not. This will be the last time I encounter you. Take the ring or I drop out of this school." She threatens. She always wanted to get into University of London. I can't take that away from her. I take the rings. She brushes me off and walks to her clique. I look down at my stuff and realize I was crying when a tear drop landed on my glasses. That's all she wanted. For me to wear my glasses again.. what a jerk I am.


*Amanda's POV*


Once Tiffany and I were done decorating our dorm we decided to side down and relax. Just then I hear a knock at the door. I go to open it but I see no one. I look around. No one. Up and down- Oh a Pillow. I pick it up.

'I love you to the moon and back'

I flip it over

'~Niall'

Aweh. Oh my gosh. NO! I'm mad at him. Very mad..... Goddamnit I cant' stay mad at my Irish leprechaun. Maybe I should go talk to him? Not today. I hug the pillow close and I close the door.

"Who was it?" Tiffany asks.

"Ehm. No one, but I found this." I say, showing her the pillow.

"Aweh! Maybe its for me. From Harry." She says.

"No, flip it over." I say. She turns the pillow over.

"N-Niall.."

"Yeah.. Should I forgive him? I really love him. He gave up the rings for me." I say.

"Yes, you should! One, You're the cutest couple ever! Two, I forgave Harry for cheating on me and having sex with a girl. I caught him but he continued. I forgave Harry for that. You should forgive Niall." She says.

"True, but.. He was convinced I was gonna commit suicide and you went to a club, got a girl and brought her back to my house. "

"Amanda, he still loves you. And he was sober.."

"But he didn't come to stop me-" I start.

"It was 5 minutes after you left when Louis told him. He sobbed like crazy none of us could calm him down. After 10 minutes he decided that it was too late and you might already be dead. So he went to the store to buy your roses, and went to drink away the pain. He was drunk. He said after he got the roses he would go out and find your body, take you down and hold you close until you weren't warm anymore. Then would bring you to the grave yard where you bought spots for 'Mr and Mrs. Horan'" She says.. I feel so guilty now.

"Here are the flowers." She says. She took out a bouquet of roses and handed it to me. She also took out a little heart shaped pillow that said 'I love you' My heart shatters. I feel so bad.

"Do you think I should talk to him now?" I ask.

"Now? Not now. Too soon, maybe tomorrow. We should get some rest now. It's late." She says.

"It's 10..." I say.

"Sign up took a while, lets get sleeping." She says. I sigh. I love him. I do.
