Just Another Fairy Tale

*Niall's POV*

Amanda was currently in operation. I was sitting in the waiting area with the other lads, Tiffany, Perrie and Eleanor. Amanda's new friends, Justine and Jordan, were here too.

"How could I have let this happen?" I ask myself, standing up. Gripping onto my hair.

"Hey, it's not your fault. She was trying to save some people." Eleanor says.

"I know, but I should have done something like-like, step in front of her or whatever!" I say, letting go of my hair.

"Is he always like this?" Jordan whispers to Perrie.

"Stay with us and you'll probably get used to it." Perrie giggles softly.

"This isn't funny!" I say, getting louder.

"Calm down, Nialler." Tiffany stands up.

"I'm sorry," I say sitting back down.

"It's just... It's happening again!" I say and hand my head, resting my elbow's on my knee's.

"She'll be okay." Zayn speaks. Just then, a doctor walks into the waiting area.

"Okay, news on Amanda Cole? Whose here for her?" She asks.

"We are!" I raise my hand.

"Okay, she's lucky. The bullet went right through her. Nothing got majorly damaged, she will be all healed by the end of the week. We are allowing visitors." The doctor says. We all stand up and follow the doctor into Amanda's room. We enter the room and find her on the bed.

"Amanda." I say and walk to her. I gently place a hand on her forehead. Her eyes flutter open.

"Nialler." She smiles. I wrap my arms around her gently. Once I let go, she pouts.

"Give me a kiss." She says and puckers up her lips. I chuckle. She smiles weakly. I lean in a bit and place my lips on her's. I gently kiss her then move back to let the other's greet her. Once everyone is finished, I sit on the edge of her bed.

"Where did I go wrong?" I softly ask myself.

"Say that again?" Amanda asks, sitting up.

"Where did I go wrong?" I ask louder, turning to face her.

"Niall, you did nothing wrong. Saving Liam was my choice. Not yours. Don't go beating yourself up.... again." She says.

"Sorry, but I feel like I could have done something." I mumble.

"Look Niall, that was the past. Move on. She's fine so be thankful that bullet didn't do major damage." Harry says.

"Yeah, just be thankful, Niall." Louis says.

"But, she just got out of the hospital. Now she's back in for a week!" I complain.

"Niall!" Amanda says a bit louder. I face her.

"Stop complaining! I'm alive and here. I love you, what more could you ask for?" She says, her face full of confusion. I sigh.

"Your right. All I could ask for is for you alive and here. I love you more, Amanda." I reply. One more thing I could ask for, I want her safe and clearly, I can't provide that.

Notes

Sorry for the short chapter. As you know, I haven't updated in three days and I'm really sorry about that! I went to a sleep over. Tomorrow I'm going to New York so I won't be updating. Please forgive me! It's March break and my family has a bunch of plans. I love you all! So sorry guys!
