Just Another Fairy Tale

*Niall's POV*

"Please, I'm tired!" I whine. Amanda won't go to sleep. It's midnight!!

"I can't sleep! Let's do something, baby!" She says, jumping.

"Stop jumping! You'll get out of breath and might collapse!" I say, cautiously. I grab her hand and pull her into bed.

"Hm." She pouts.

"Baby, go to sleep! Please!" I grumble and lay down. She nods her head 'no'

"Let's go outside!" She says.

"Why? Nothing is out there." I say.

"No, Outside! Outside the hospital! Let's take a walk. The moon is beautiful." She smiles.

"But.. it's too far!" I whine.

"Stop it! Your so lazy! I'm serious Niall. Let's go take a walk." She says.

"Through the dark?" I ask. She giggle.

"That sounds like some kind of song." She smiles.

"Could be. Fine. Just... let me put something on." I say, hopping out of bed in only my boxer's. I slip on some grey sweat pants, a sky blue shirt and a black sweater, keeping the zipper open. Amanda puts on black sweat pants and one of my grey t-shirts.

"Okay, lets go then." I say, taking a hold on her hand. We walk out of the hospital room. The hospital is totally empty and dark, except the roaming security guards and a lady packing up at the front desk.

"Where are you two going?" One of the officers at the door asks.

"We're going for a walk. Don't worry, I'm a patient. My doctor says it's good if I go for walks." Amanda says.

"At midnight?" He asks.

"Hey, I need fresh air." She giggles.

"Alrighty then." He opens the door for us and lets us out. We start walking in a random direction, but still on the sidewalk. I look up at the sky. The sky is dark and the moon is shining brightly.

"It is a beautiful night." I say.

"I told you." Amanda smiles.

"You make the scenery look better." I chuckle. She blushes.

"Stop complementing me. I'll just blush." She admits.

"And it's adorable when you do, blush." I smile.

"Stop, your cuter. You even have a dimple! Aw it's so adorable!" She says, poking my cheek. I think she's playing with me dimple.

"Mm Hm. Stop that." I chuckle, pulling her hand away. Amanda and I walk a bit more, then stop in front of a coffee shop. Open 24/7. Perfect. We walk inside. It's totally empty except for the few teenage workers at the front desk. A bit younger than Amanda and I. We walk to the front.

"Oh hi. Taking a late night walk?" The girl asks.

"Yea. Could I have a medium coffee please?" I ask. She nods.

"And the lady?" She asks.

"I'd like a french vanilla." Amanda says.

"Hmm, fancy." She chuckles. She then leaves.

"Your paying?" Amanda asks. I chuckle.

"Sure." I smile. Soon, the girl comes back with our drinks.

"Thank you." Amanda says. I take out my wallet and hand the money she asked for. We walk out of the place and walk in the direction away from the hospital. Still hand in hand.

"When should we go back?" I ask.

"Until I feel sleepy." She says.

"Is this some plan to put you to sleep?" I ask. She nods.

"Yeah, your annoying me about how I won't go to sleep. Walking makes me sleepy. So. Let's walk." Amanda giggles.

**1 hour later, back at the hospital**

I walk into the hospital room holding Amanda bridal-style. She fell asleep during our walk. I gently place her on the bed and pull the blanket over her. I close the door and walk to the corner where my bag is. I remove my sweater, t-shirt and sweat pants. I walk over to the bed and sit down. I remove my shoe's then lay down beside Amanda. I turn off the lights and slowly fall into a deep sleep beside my baby.
