Just Another Fairy Tale

*Amanda's POV*

"You'll be fine, trust me." I say as I look at Niall laying on the hospital bed, waiting for the doctor to come get him for surgery.

"Don't worry about me. I'm worried about you." Niall says.

"I mean, I'll be in operation for like... 6 hours or something. You'll be okay alone? " He asks.

"I'm sure! Our friends are coming over anyways." I say.

"Well, okay then." He says just as a nurse walks in.

"Mr. Horan. Time for your operation." She says.

"Love you." I say.

"Love you more." He says just as the doctor drags his bed out of the room. The door closes and I'm all alone right now. I sit on my bed and grab my phone. I can't text anyone right now. I don't really remember how to spell names. I decide to look through some pictures to see if anything would trigger my memory. I look through them. Lots of selfies with Louis, Niall and Tiffany. Some with Harry, Zayn and Liam. But more with the others. None of them trigger my memory. I sigh and put my phone back. I stand up and slowly walk to the window. I look out, admiring the view. Just then, the door opened and I turn around. I see my friends and a doctors holding open the door.

"Ms. Cole. You have visitors." He says.

"Thank you. Let them in." I say. He nods and holds the door open as they all walk into. Once the last person comes in, the doctor closes the door.

"Hi Amanda!" Eleanor and Perrie say at the same time.

"Haha, hi." I say going to hug them. I greet and hug the rest of them.

"Where's Niall?" Alexis asks.

"He's in surgery right now." I say. Alexis' happy face disappears. Turning into a sad face.

"Why?" She asks.

"I kinda.. broke our promise." I say.

"You let him be mean to himself? You pinkie promised..." Alexis says.

"I know, I'm sorry! But it was early and I was asleep and.." I start.

"What if he goes on vacation?" She asks.

"I-I... I don't know." I say, feeling tears trickle down my face. I then feel a pair of arms wrap around me. I don't care who it was, I hugged back.

"Shh. He won't leave. I promise you." Louis whispers. I nod.

"If he does leave, I don't know what I would do. I'd never be happy again." I whisper. Louis doesn't answer. He just gently rubs my back. Slowly and firmly.

"He'll be fine. And so will you." Louis says and pulls back slightly. He wipes my tears.

"I promise you." He whisper.

*5 hours later*

"Liam, pass me my water please?" I ask as I sit on the floor beside Louis and Eleanor. We're currently watching Frozen. Louis, Eleanor, Harry, Tiffany and I are sitting on the floor. Liam, Alexis, Zayn and Perrie sit on the bed.

"Here you go." Liam says, handing me my water bottle.

"Thank you." I say, taking a sip. The movie then ends and we all stand up, stretching.

"I loved that!" Perrie jumps.

"I was so sad! But amazing at the same time! It messed with my emotions! " Eleanor said. I giggle.

"I liked it, it was better than I expected." Zayn says.

"It was amazing! What do you mean, 'I liked it'" I say, quoting Zayn's lack of emotion.

"Hey, I'm happier when I'm eating while watching a movie." He says, defending himself. I giggle.

"I loved it! Harry, you gotta get me the movie!" Tiffany says.

"I guess I'll try." Harry says.

"Okay, okay. We all love the movie. Now, lets play some truth or dare?" Louis suggests.

"Yes!" Perrie jumps up and down, excitedly.

"Wow, your quite a firecracker." Eleanor giggles. We all sit in a circle.

"I'm going first. This was my idea." Louis says.

"Liam, truth or dare?" Louis asks.

"Truth." He says.

"Is it true, you and Danielle had sex?" Louis asks.

"Don't talk about Danielle. And no, we didn't." Liam says.

"Amanda, truth or dare?" Liam asks me.

"Truth." I say, not wanting to do anything physical.

"If you had to date anyone of us other than Niall, who would it be?" He asks. I think for a second.

"W-Would any of you be mad at me or tell Niall?" I ask, looking at the ground.

"No." They all say at the same time. I look up and my eyes meet Louis.

"Louis." I say. Louis blushes. There was a long moment of silence.

"Excuse me?" Eleanor asks, obviously quite mad.

"I-I." I start.

"You want to date my man? Your clearly in love with someone else! No one said you had the right to love two people at once! Why don't you just have a three-some as well!?" Eleanor yells and stands up. I gulp. I should have picked dare.

"I-I don't wanna date him I-" I start.

"Fuck you!" Eleanor yells, up in my face scaring me.

"Hey! We all clearly agreed we wouldn't be mad or tell Niall." Tiffany says.

"Fuck you too! Fuck that agreement! Promises were meant to be broken! You just want Louis! Were you pretending to love Niall, too!?" She yells. I gulp.

"Of course not. I love him to death." I say.

"Fuck that answer! Your lying!" Eleanor yells. Louis pulls her back.

"Fuck this! Let me go Louis, your obviously part of this scam!" She yells pulling out of his grip.

"You jack-ass mother fucker!" Eleanor yells. She slaps me, making me fall to the floor. Everything then started to get blurry.

"Language!" Alexis stands up. Her eyes sternly locker on Eleanor. Her expression softens.

"Don't be mean to her. You all agreed. Stick with you promises. Like Amanda." Alexis says.

"She was never committed to her promises." Eleanor says.

"Well she tried. You just went nuts." Alexis says. Eleanor sits down on the closets chair.

"Fuck this." She mumbles. Louis walks over to her and sits beside her. I'm still here, shocked and feeling tears tickle down my face. Liam sits close to me, holding me and stroking my hair.

"Shh. Don't cry." He says. Zayn, Perrie, Harry and Tiffany crowd me. Mumbling things to me to make me calm down. I then hear the door open for about a minute, then close again. I look up and see Niall in the hospital bed hooked up to wires. The room was spinning. I was dizzy. I couldn't get up for some damn reason and I was having trouble breathing. Everything went blurry and I couldn't hear anyone. I then feel something cover my mouth and nose, allowing me to breath. I heard slow beeps. I was hooked up to the monitor. I then felt like I was laying down. All of the sudden, everything went black.

*Later*

"Amanda?" I heard a small voice. I opened my eyes. My vision blurry. I tried to sit up, but everything was spinning. My body was sore and my head was pounding.

"Amanda?" I heard again.

"Whose there?" I ask.

"Me, It's Niall." He says.

"Oh I'm sorry. My vision is blurry and I have a headache. I can't quite tell." I say.

"Yeah, you died for like... a minute." Niall says.

"What?" I ask. I then hear other voices mumble in the background.

"Niall, Is there anyone else here?" I ask.

"Yep. No one left." He says. My vision came back.

"How was the surgery?" I ask, eyeing his stitches.

"My arm hurts. But it feels better now. Note to self;
Never go over old cuts." He says.

"No, your note to self should be;
Don't cut ever again" I say. He chuckles and I hear other giggles.

"So what was your promise with Alexis about?" He asks.

"I can't tell." I say.

"Alexis said you could." Niall says.

"Oh.. Well, she made me promise to keep an eye out for you." I say.

"Why?" He asks.

"To make sure you won't leave." I say.

"Leave for what?" He asks, obviously confused.

"Leave for vacation." I mumble.

"Oh Amanda. I would never." He whispers.

"Tell that to your cuts." I say and roll over. Not wanting to talk anymore.

"G'night everyone. I love you Niall." I mumble, slowly drifting to sleep.

"Good night Amanda." Everyone says at the same time.

"I love you too." Niall says.
