Hayden's P.O.V.

I woke up to my phone ringing. I groaned and got up off the bed. I walked over to the other side of the room and picked it up. I answered it and rubbed my eyes.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's Emily. The girls and I were wondering if you would want to go get your hair done with us. Then after that get ready at Ash' s house." I looked at my phone and it was four fifty in the afternoon. I'VE BEEN ASLEEP MOST OF THE DAMN DAY!!! I calmed down and put the phone back to my ear.

"Sure. Be down in five." I hung up and tossed the phone the bed. I walked over to my closet and changed out of my outfit from last night into this. I took one of those bags they use for concealing outfits and walked back in the room. I opened the box and took out the dress. I put it in the bag and zipped it up. Even though I'm in a dilemma with the whole Niall and Luke thing, I am actually looking forward to tonight.

I grabbed the shoes and picked up my phone off the bed before walking out the room. I saw Mom's door opened and went over to say goodbye. Mom was on the bed watching T.V. with Jay when she looked at me. "Good afternoon, sweetheart. Why do you have the bag?"

"Oh, the girls and I are going to get our hairs done for the dance and then we're going to Ash's place to get ready."

"But what about the pictures with you...and your date? Do you have one?" She asked with a smile. I looked at Jay and she was smiling too.

"Yes, I have a date. I'm going with Niall, but JUST as friends. Also, if you want to take the photos, I'll text you her address and you guys can come over. I got to go...bye." I rushed down the stairs to the front door and walked out. I walked down the walkway to Em' s car and got in.

"Hey girl." Ash said helping me get in. She took my bag and unzipped it revealing my dress. "Oh, this is gorgeous. Who bought it for you?"
I looked at her and took a deep breath, "Luke." She looked at me in disbelief and zipped the bag back up. I looked around and noticed the other girls glancing at each other. "What?"

"You know Luke is the reason why you were in the hospital, right?" Spencer said looking at me through the rear view mirror. Wait, what?!! I can't believe this douche bag is still around and he has the nerve to say we're going to the dance together. I took my phone out and texted him saying we're not going to the dance together, and that I am going with someone else. I put my phone away and looked at Ashleigh.

"Let's not allow one dick to ruin our night because it is....."

"Hey, mom." I looked confused because I didn't know that was Ashleigh's mother. She was beautiful with her long dyed blonde hair and hazel eyes. If I didn't know either of them, I'd think they're sisters. She looked at us and smiled.

"Hi, girls. Ashleigh who's your new friend?" They all looked at me and I felt intimidated because I always thought they were prettier than me. I looked at her and smiled falsely.

"Hi, I'm Hayden Mitchell."

"Nice to meet you dear." Her and her other female employees came up to me, and took us over to the sinks. The lady sat me down and began washing my hair. The lukewarm water hit my skin like a raindrop you now when my phone vibrated. I took it out and saw I got a message from Luke. I read it and he asked where we're going to meet. I replied saying that I was going with someone else. By someone else, I mean Niall. He replied back saying that I was making a big mistake and that we're through.

"Who was that?" Emily said peering over and looking at my phone. She took it out of my hand and read it. She started laughing and Spencer took it out her hand. She read it and started laughing even harder. Ash took it out her hand and read it. She looked at me and smiled.

"Doesn't he know you want nothing to do with him after the accident?" I shrugged and they gave me back my phone. I put it in my pocket and the lady finished washing my hair. I got up and she sat me down underneath the dryer. I laid my head back and took a mini nap.

~Dream~

Harry and I were at the dance, with our dates, staring at each other when he began walking over to me. I walked over to him and we stopped with only a few inches between us. He leaned forward to kiss me when the dream faded.

~End of Dream~

I opened my eyes to the lady telling me I'm finished. I got up and she walked me to her seat. I sat down and she asked me what I wanted.

"Curly bun please." She nodded and began to do my hair when my phone rang. I took it out of my pocket and saw Louis's face flash across the screen. I answered it and put the phone to my ear, "Hello?"

"Hey, Hayden. It's Louis. I just wanted to let you and the girls know we will be at your house by 7. Also, Harry will be meeting us at the house I texted him to come." I froze shocked for a split second before responding.

"Ok, see you then. Bye."

"Bye." He hung up and I looked at the girls. They were smiling at me and I shook my head.

"It's not like that. It was Louis. He said he and the guys will be at your house by 7." Ash nodded and the lady finished my hair. She handed me the mirror and I melted at my hair. The other ladies finished the girls hairs and they looked beautiful. We got up from our chairs and Ash paid her mom.

"Thanks mom." We left the salon and went back to Em's car. We got in and I tried to make sure my hair didn't get ruined. She drove off and headed back to Ash' s house.

*Skip Car Ride*

We got to Ash's house and immediately got out to get ready. I carried my bag and heels inside with a smile on my face. We went upstairs to her room and closed the door. I took out my dress and put it on the bed. Ash, Spencer, and Emily took out their dresses and they looked beautiful.

"Let's start getting dressed." Ash said clapping her hands together. We nodded and began taking off our clothes. I put my dress on and it was the correct size. Whoa, he got it right this time!! The girls looked at me and I spun around.

"Is it bad?" They shook they're heads and I smiled proudly. For once, my outfit is looked down on. I put on my heels while the girls put on their dresses. Tonight is going to be the best night of my life.

The girls finished getting dressed when the doorbell rang. They left and I fixed my tights. I heard the guys voices, even Harry and some other girl. I heard Niall ask Ashleigh where I was at. Well, it's now or never. I got up and walked out the room. I made my way to the top of staircase and his back was pointed to me. Louis tapped him and he turned around. He looked at me and I saw his as well as Harry's eyes light up. I walked down the stairs and looked at Harry. He smiled at me but I looked away.

"You look beautiful." Niall said giving me a hug. See, Harry could've said it but he didn't. Maybe, it's because he's date is right next to him. I looked at her and I swear I've seen her before. I shook the thought off and looked at the others.

"So, we should probably get going." Zayn said walking out the door with Emily. We walked outside and I saw a limo waiting for us. I looked at Niall shocked and he smiled at me. We walked over to the limo and got in. I sat down, only to be in between Niall and Harry. Great, just my luck!!

*skip car ride*

We got to school and I was so happy to get out of there. Harry was giving Niall a death stare while Niall gave Harry one, and it's just too much. We walked inside and the dance had already began. People were jumping around acting like they have no sense. I was admiring when Niall tapped me.

"I'll be back." I nodded and he left. Ashleigh came over to me and I looked at her.

"Hey. You came alone?" She nodded and I looked at her sympathetically. "I'm sorry."

"It's cool."

The music ended and I went to get something to drink. The guy serving them handed me a glass and I thanked him.

When I heard the principal'a voice. I turned around and she was wearing a ugly green dress. "Well, wasn't that wonderful. Okay, so next is crazy morons." Her assistant ran up to her and handed her a paper. She read it and looked at us. "They're aren't coming, so if anyone can sing come up to the mic."

Maybe, I could show off my talents. I walked through the crowd to the stage and walked up to the mic. Everyone was looking at me and I felt suffocated. I opened to my mom to sing when I heard my music playing. I turned around and saw Niall playing the guitar. I looked back at the crowd and sang.

I looked in the crowd and saw Harry staring at me with a smile. I ignored him and began dancing around the stage.

The song ended and everyone clapped for me. Niall put down the guitar and I gave him a hug. "Good job."

"You're great yourself." He put me down and I saw Harry looking at me. He mouthed 'I'm miss you' to me and I felt overwhelmed. Niall came up to me and I looked at him. "I need something to drink."

I walked off the stage and went to the beverage table. I poured myself and begin drinking it when I heard Liam's voice.

"Is everyone having a good time?!" They all cheered and I turned around. "Well, this song is dedicated to four special young ladies. It's called 'Gotta Be You.' They began singing and I looked at Harry.

A tear rolled down his eye and he just sang directly at me as if it were only is in the room.

They finished singing and his eyes never left mine. I felt a tear escape my eye. Does he really mean that? Or is he just trying to play with my emotions? A tear left his eye and I knew he meant every word.

They finished singing and everyone applaud really loudly. Our eyes still were locked on each other's when I could be there anymore. I left the gym were the dance is being held. I walked into the hallway to get away from all of that.

"Hayden!!" Harry came rushing out the gym and I looked at him. He walked over to me. I felt a tear roll down my face but he wiped it away. I looked at him and he began leaning forward when I heard clapping. Luke came out from around the corner and we looked at him.

"That was a beautiful performance. Right Guys?" He looked behind us and Kaitlyn, along with the his friends, appeared from around the corner.

"Yes, it was Luke. If you ask me it had a ugly girl in it." I looked at her pissed and she smiled at me. She looked at Luke and I looked at him. He nodded at her and she banged Harry in the back of the head with a gun. He fell to the floor and I looked at her shocked.

"What's wrong babe? You shocked to see your man on the floor." He walked over to me and I was bashed the head. I hit the floor and it was lights out.

I woke up to everything being silent. I got up and saw that I was no longer in the school. I saw a light at the end of this hallway and I walked towards it. I looked around the corner and saw the gang, including Harry, tied up in a circle in the middle of this big room. "Guys!!!"

I ran over to them and they shook their heads. I stopped and the door slammed shut. I turned around and Luke came from behind the door. "Hey...Babe."

"Why are you doing this, Luke." I asked angry and aggravated. He looked at me and smiled.

"Because it's fun tormenting you."
I sighed and looked at him. Is he serious right now? I guess he really can't take a clue. "Also, I want you to seize to exist."

His friends and Kaitlyn came out from their corners. I looked at Luke and he took out a gun. He pointed at me and I looked at him even more shocked. He shot and the bullet him me in the arm. I fell to the ground and I hear mumbled screaming. I turned around saw Harry crying. I got up and took off the neck brace.

"You want a fight....LET'S GO!!!" He laughed and Harry's prom date ran up to me. I kicked her in the face and she stumbled away.

The other two girls ran over to me and kicked me in the stomach. I punched them both in the vagina and looked at Luke. He looked at me angrily and spoke, "Shoot her ass, Clarke."

His friend nodded and Luke handed him the gun. He pointed it at me and I put my hands up in defence. He shot and closed my eyes for impact but nothing came. I opened my eyes and saw Kaitlyn standing in front of me.

"KAITLYN!!!" She fell to the ground and I looked at her. I moved the hair our her face and cried extremely hard. I looked at Luke angrily and he turned off the lights.

The lights turned on, and Harry nor Luke were in sight. I fell to the floor next to Kaitlyn and just cried. Cried that my best friend is gone, cried that my ex-boyfriend is missing, and crying in how much I'm in pain from the bullet wound.
