Love/Hate

Hayden’s P.O.V.

I woke up in a hospital room and looked around. I didn’t see anyone in my room, which really upset me because I thought…never mind. I sat up and looked around the empty hospital room and felt the coldness surrounding me. I got out of bed and walked over to the door. I walked out the room and walked down the hallway to the waiting room. I looked around and saw all my friends sitting there, including my family, looking devastated. Harry ran into the room and looked at the others. He rushed over to them and they all looked at him, "Harry?!" Luke got up and he looked at him."Well, where is she? What happened?"

"She was hit by a car." He fell to the floor, on his knees, and Lou ran up beside him. He helped him up to his feet and sat him down on the chair. A doctor came out and everyone got up.

“What is it doctor? Is she okay?"

"Well, from the fatal impact she had, we were lucky enough to have saved her life. Unfortunately, she has woken up yet. I'm afraid she's going to be in a coma if she doesn't wake up soon." Harry looked up and tears poured down his face. Why would doctor not say that I’m awake? I’m standing right here.

"What are you crying about?" Dad asked Harry. He looked pissed and devastated. He gave Mom to Jamie and stood up, "You're probably the reason that my daughter is in the fucking hospital."

Harry got up and looked at him with pure anger, "Excuse me? How dare you ask why I'm crying?! And even more so, how dare you say that I was the reason your daughter is in the hospital."

“Can we see her, doctor?” Zayn asked. He nodded and everyone stood up. They rushed to my room and I followed, silently, behind them. We walked into my room and they all rushed over to my bed. I looked at myself and I realized that the doctor was right. I wasn’t awake. My mom sat down next to my bed and held my hand.

“Hayden? If you can hear us, please wake up.” I cried a little bit because I really wanted to wake up, but my body won’t let me. She held my hand and I felt myself smile in happiness. Niall walked up to my mom, with Ashleigh, and looked at her.

“I’m sorry for what happened, Mrs. Mitchell.”

“Thank you, Niall.” He nodded and they went back to where they were standing. I looked around for Harry and noticed that he was standing at the doorway. I walked over to him and saw him crying. I leaned forward and tried to kiss him, but I passed right through. I walked back in front of him and his phone started buzzing. He took it out of his pocket and read it, quietly, to himself. He looked up and glared at Luke. I walked behind him and read the text.

Spencer sent him a text saying that Luke was the reason that I got hit by car. I looked at Luke and Harry began making his way over to him. I tried to tell Harry that it wasn't necessary, but he couldn’t hear me.

He walked up to Luke and pushed him, “You little shit!!” Luke looked at him pissed and pushed him back.

“Dude, what’s your deal?!”

“You!! That's my ‘deal’!!!”

“Look, dude, in case you haven’t notice Hayden is my girlfriend now. Back off!!” Harry opened his mouth to speak, but instead he walked out the room crying. I looked at Luke and I know he was happy that Harry was now out of the picture. Lou and Niall left to go look for Harry. That’s not what I wanted to happen, but it did. I fell to the floor and just cried. Why do I always cause hearts to become broken?
